“Best carnitas in the whole valley. My family and I have been coming here for years. The tortillas are homemade, and there’s a senora who works there and she’s so nice. Make sure you ask for nopales, they are extra and so are the tortillas but we don’t mind for the quality.“

“I have been coming here for quite a while. In fact I was surprised I didn't put a lot of good comments here. However I'm very disappointed. There's a bunch of kids that came in and they were being rowdy. No parents there to watch them. There's only a part of video on here hopefully you got camera on the rest. They were asking for free food swearing and playing with your soda machines asking for water and they got soda. This happened at 4:00 p.m. February 21st 26. I asked the employees to please take care of this issue because of the atmosphere dining has changed and got negative and rowdy. I let the employees know that they were stealing soda and there was issues becoming out of hand. They didn't seem to care and didn't mind to let the kids steal the soda or be rowdy. I let your employees know I'm not coming back and I do not like this kind of dining experience ever. Anybody in their right mind wouldn't either. It disgust me to the core. I have enjoyed my experiences but if you can't get the rowdiness out and freeloaders I am not coming back. I am reaching out to corporate. I'm going to pursue this. This is untolerable and unacceptable.
A week later they were able to call me and take care of this issue and they're very aware of these kids. I appreciate them reaching out and talking with me with this issue. So now my review is up with them and I never had a problem with the location or the employees it's just I think they were a little nervous about the situation and not sure what to do. Everything is taken care of and they're on top of it now and again I appreciate corporate/management reaching out to me thank you so much this means a lot.“

I ordered the chile relleno and it was just right, the rice was perfect (at some restaurants it’s dry). The service was prompt, the staff were all very friendly. I’d like to go back before I leave and try something else! My Spanish isn’t what it used to be but here goes—muy rica la comida!“

It is located next to a local Target, so they have a great position to succeed with the flow of traffic and a large parking lot. “The food is always good and fresh! I went to the drive thru and ordered 2 meals- when I got to the window I realized that I left my purse at home. I had cash in my pocket but I was $2 short so I asked them to take off 1 meal and they did and charged me for just the 1 meal. Then when Scottie handed me my bag there were 2 meals in the bag! She said have a good night! I was in tears because that was such a nice thing to do!!! I love Costa Vida!“

“👍👍👍👍👍Had a terrific lunch here on Monday (6/23/25). Staff were all friendly and accommodating. Food was great. Not your regular Mexican dishes, more like Mexican with a unique twist! I had the Quesabirria (kind of like a quesadilla)and Ashly had the Birria Stew. We each chose lamb for the meat. These were made well, delicious and beautifully presented. Using lamb and the Birria style gave everything a unique, delightful flavor! It was a perfect afternoon for eating outside, too.“

The atmosphere is very casual, the service attentive and the food top notch. The prices are very reasonable given the high quality of the food! We enjoyed the tacos. Quesadillas and Chili Rellenos! We left full and very satisfied with the experience at this mom and pop Mexican restaurant! I would highly recommend this place if you are a local or just visiting!“

For entrees, we had shrimp ceviche and grilled octopus. Overall, I liked the restaurant and the food, but the food was overpriced. I haven't found a place with better ceviche, though, so La Cevicheria is where I'll go when I want it.“
