“October 13, 2022, my sister and I went to Leatherby's for lunch at 12:10 p.m. We order a Philly cheese steak sandwich, and we waited 20 minutes for it, it was barely warm. It had hardly and meat, green peppers, onions on it! I said to the waiter this Philly cheese steak sandwich was on the Menu said The BEST Seller. It had nothing is on it; he took it back and (they probably spit on it) when came back it STILL hardly had any meat etc. on it! It was the worst Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich!!! Service VERY Poor! The boy working (forgot his name) was very helpful and kind and it was only his 2nd day on the job PLUS he was the only employee working the store!!! The wonderful young man let me know that I would save more if I ordered the 6 cookies as a whole in a box instead of separately.

I informed him I needed the cookies in individual boxes for friends.😊He said they offer individual boxes for is to assemble and gave me the 4 as promised. (Ate the other 2👀).

Was very grateful 🙏 When I tipped him with cash, he asked if I was sure. If course I was! Thats the 2nd time he helped me when I went there the last time!

“I recently visited this spot and overall, it’s pretty good, but it’s not quite authentic Mexican flavor. The tostilocos were tasty, but they don’t really capture the true flavor of the ones you’d get in Tijuana, Mexico were it’s originally from. The esquite had a lot of mayo and wasn’t very juicy, which made it a bit dry. Still, compared to other places around here, it’s a decent option!“

“I’ve eaten here almost every week for the last 10 months. The food quality and service is generally pretty good. The prices are sometimes high, but, depending on what you get, can be worth it. $12-28 per person. The prices seem comparable to other burger restaurants like Five Guys and Crown Burger. Its busy times are on weekends around 6-7pm and right before baseball games and free concerts. The wait time for the food is usually around 8-15 minutes. There are 6 things I frequently get and highly recommend a first-timer try:

1. Country H: A cheeseburger with fry sauce, lettuce, tomato, American cheese, and bacon.

2. Grilled Lemon Chicken Sandwich: A grilled and breaded chicken breast on a bun with lemon pepper dressing, lettuce, and tomato.

3. Country Club Sandwich: which contains sliced turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on toasted white bread.

4. Chicken Strips and Fresh-Cut French Fries Platter, with a side of fry sauce and barbecue sauce.

5. A nice cold frosty mug of Hires root beer.

6. Any flavor of milkshake/malt/freeze; I personally like a strawberry banana, grasshopper mint Oreo, salted caramel, chocolate malt, or root beer freeze.

All of these items are a solid 10/10 🙌!

As for the atmosphere, it’s a nice classic diner feel. There’s often oldies music playing. The minimalist plain white walls are a delight to look at, however I would not be disappointed if they put up artwork soon, like classic car pictures or something. The black and white checker-board tiled floor look really cool but it’s often unswept and dirty when I arrive.

“What a cool and unique ice cream experience! The presentation alone is what initially caught my attention, it was such a fun and different way to enjoy ice cream.
They had some really unique soft serve flavors, including strawberry lemonade and Oreo, along with a great selection of toppings to customize your treat. The combination of fun flavors and the creative presentation made this such a memorable stop.
Definitely a must try if you’re looking for a fun dessert experience rather than just your typical ice cream shop!“
