“I love this place! I go there after hard work days and get the chicken salad sandwiches and wassail. It instantly brightens my day. They have a wide variety of teas, including herbal, and it’s a wonderful experience to share with friends. I go in groups often too and had my birthday party here.

I think those hired need a little bit better training, both of the young women (both very nice) who are working struggled to answer questions I had about the menu like “what is on the Mexican hot dog” or “what comes on the American hot dog”.
Or possibly add descriptions for each item!“

“October 13, 2022, my sister and I went to Leatherby's for lunch at 12:10 p.m. We order a Philly cheese steak sandwich, and we waited 20 minutes for it, it was barely warm. It had hardly and meat, green peppers, onions on it! I said to the waiter this Philly cheese steak sandwich was on the Menu said The BEST Seller. It had nothing is on it; he took it back and (they probably spit on it) when came back it STILL hardly had any meat etc. on it! It was the worst Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich!!! Service VERY Poor! Food VERY POOR!!!“

The boy working (forgot his name) was very helpful and kind and it was only his 2nd day on the job PLUS he was the only employee working the store!!! He was great and we thought we would give him a shoutout! The ice cream was delicious!!!“

“I live in Colorado and never heard of Alpha Coffee. I visited Salt Lake City, and friend recommended we meet at the downtown location. I ordered an "Aztec" and it was great. Something different, new and tasty for me. I liked the drink, the vibe and the servers ... the whole experience was great! I look forward to my next visit to SLC. “At first, I was completely put off because their weren’t prices listed. I immediately felt I was going to be overcharged. I asked the sweet lady for prices, and she obliged happily. It was the most I’ve ever paid for a boba and I’ve drank them all over. Even on Waikiki Beach they weren’t so expensive. So, why 5 stars? The brown sugar milk tea with traditional Boba was the best boba I have ever had! It was so good I am considering going back tomorrow before I leave town! Good job, Hello Boba. “I got the Toasted Coconut Half size serving in a cup with cake pieces and coco pebbles. It was the perfect size but the ice cream was very rich. Small seating area inside enough for like 10 people. Line will easily stretch out the door because lack of space inside which is understandable. Bathroom was clean, nice and orderly. Customer service was friendly. There's a few benches outside near to sit. All gluten free and vegan options for the ice cream as well. Would return again.“
