“Did a road trip from Vegas and stopped at this place with my friends from Colorado. I was very impressed with the Tex-Mex style food. I ordered the burrito, smothered and green chili. Which was not bad, burritos were very good. What made this experience even better was customer service from our waiter Heather she was one of the best waiters I had at any restaurant I have ever been to and I been to top notch in Vegas. She was amazing. It made the experience much better.“

“This is a quiet Indian restaurant at Jordan Landing.I had the chicken masala and a mango lasse. It was absolutely. ?The ambiance was serene and the lighting very mellow, and It's very clean with attentive waiters.It has the essence of India, with a large mural of elephants wearing traditional India adornment. I was taken by it as I was eating.The tables are hardwood, and the plates and silverware are very nice.You bring a significant other or bring the family. If you visit, you'll see what I mean.It was my first time there, and this place has replaced one of my favorite places to eat Indian cuisine.I give it two thumbs up. “I visited one evening with a party of 8 and we were warmly welcomed, quickly seated, and quickly served despite having such a large party! I was amazed by this incredible table service and our server was so pleasant and had a great sense of humor. I'm honestly not a huge fan of live music in restaurants because they're always so loud, but the live musician here was the perfect volume and was actually really good, so I couldn't be mad about it. As for the food, I love Curry Pizza in West Jordan and this location is just as good. Their pizza is always so flavorful and the bread is always cooked perfectly. We also ordered some cheese naan and sweet naan and those were also amazing. (I'm kind of obsessed with sweet naan now.) I had an amazing meal and I can't wait to go again next time I'm in SoJo.“

“I was so excited to try this place because of the rave reviews. First, it's where my favorite Thai food restaurant used to be, so I wasn't shocked by the minimal parking and the tiny restaurant. We were lucky enough to be seated right away at 7:30 on a Friday night even though the place was quite full. Our waitress was really sweet and made sure to keep our water filled throughout the meal. Dinner arrived quickly, but we were a bit disappointed by how small the tacos were. We ordered the Birria and the Al Pastor tacos. It was enough food for me to eat 2 1/2 tacos, but my husband was still hungry after the meal. For $30 and only two people eating I was a little disappointed. Especially since we just drank water with our meals. Adding a side of rice and beans to a three taco plate wouldn't cost them much and would make a big difference! The food had a good flavor, but we won't be going back any time soon. We will stick with our favorites from now on.“

For lunch it’s less expensive than other places and everything they offer on the lunch menu is really good.Everything is fresh and tastes good. The service is really good. “We celebrated a birthday at Matteo’s. It was one of the best food experiences we have had in awhile. The service was phenomenal from the moment we stepped in the door. We were greeted by friendly hosts, wishing us a happy birthday. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about various dishes. The food was complex, hearty, and filled with flavor. You could almost taste the effort that had gone into each dish. In addition each dish was an art piece within itself. Especially the white chocolate cheesecake dessert. We will most definitely be returning for other special occasions!“

“The nepali chulo is the best Nepali restaurant in salt lake city. I have been to many of them but this has been my favorite one. The taste is amazing everything was so perfect and delicious that I really felt like nepal . The jhol momo and mango lassi are the must try one . Definitely recommended“

“I was in town for work and ordered dinner to go from the Afghan Kitchen, you can order easily online and my food was ready pretty quickly. I had the 2 kebab plate and the garlic naan. The chicken and ground beef kebab were very nicely seasoned and cooked just right, it came with a delicious tomato and cucumber salad, super fresh! I thought I had upgraded to some kind of rice other than white basmati but I received a tomato based side dish, with delicately stewed zucchini, egg plant and onions, topped with yogurt, it was freaking incredible! The flavors were so true and good, such a lovely dish, just wish I knew what it was called lol. All of this paired very nicely with a huge piece of garlic naan bread which was very tasty! Absolutely will order food from here again, it's delicious!“

“A friend made a reservation for brunch on a Sunday after we'd all gone to a punk rock show the night before, so we were a crusty lookin' bunch. We had a larger group (res made for 10 but 7 showed up) and they only had one table to accommodate us but once we got sat things were great. I'm sure we walked in looking like the cheapest SoB's but the server was so friendly. She kept our waters full and made jokes with us and was really on top of everything. The food was delicious. Interesting food and drinks on the menu. It's a bit on the pricier end so I wouldn't recommend taking kids there but that's just me (see cheap SoB comment above ) not bad for a couple though. 10/10 would visit again.“

“This Curry is ridiculously ridiculous, meaning way too darn good to be real.Update 2024: this place is still probably my favorite Thai place. They have these new curry puffs that are basically just meat pies (like the delicious ones you find in New Zealand and Europe haha). They saw our toddler didn't eat much so they brought us out a fruit plate for free. These people are top tier people. Highly recommend this place!“

“I cannot express how great my experience dining here was. First of all, the staff is amazing. Everyone is very polite, friendly, helpful and always running around helping someone or cleaning. The food is incredible. I always get the fried chicken sandwich and this time they offered fresh slices of avocado and jalapeños. The chicken is always crispy and juicy, fresh tomatoes, huge pile of crispy lettuce and now avocado slices!? The onion rings are hands down the best onion rings I've ever had. 10/10!!“

“Hands down the best tacos I’ve had in Utah. I used to live in San Diego and was spoiled by all the great tacos, some of my favorite of which were from a street cart in nearby Tijuana. After moving to Utah, I lamented the loss of great tacos until I discovered Tacos Lopez. They are just like the Tijuana tacos I loved.My favorites are the Asada (the meat is tender and nicely charred, with no gristle) and Al Pastor (great flavor and juicy), but I also love the Lengua (really tender tongue meat) and Cabeza (rich, supple cheek meat that kind of reminds me of the best parts of a good pulled pork).“

“My family has eaten here several times and always loves it! Every dish we ordered at our last dinner was delicious and creative, but the standout for me personally were the lamb riblets!!! So soft falling off the bone and that caper chimichurri sauce is so good! Have to remove a star due to the service this time. Our food came out before drinks, and our server was strange and not very attentive. He even apologized for "the lackluster service." Overall would definitely recommend this gem for a fun Mediterranean dinner.“

“This was the BEST brunch choice we could have made. My husband, myself, and my inlaws are all from out of state, and so we found the restaurant online and saw a few mixed reviews. We make a reservation, show up early, and evn though it was busy, got a patio seated table 15 minutes early! The reuben was DIVINE, the salad incredible, and there was an amazing selection of coffees and teas. One thing i wish they did was have icewater, instead of ice upon request, but thats not a big deal! Also, for the breakfast, i wish there was more jam per container, but we were able to request a second container, and it went perfectly with the yogurt and toast. The atmosphere was AMAZING. You would never know you are in the heart of SLC. The outdoor seating has so many fresh flowers, a little water feature, and a beautiful canopy overhead so the patio can be used to its full potential. The open gate to the street, multiple entrances to the patio made it feel so inviting and inclusive, and the healthy (but delicious) food choices almost made you feel like you were eating the freshest food available. There also seemed to be a great essential oil/herbal scent in the air which just added to the overall vibe! We fed 4 adults (including a tea, soda, and granola "upgrade') for $70! (not including tip!) That felt like an amazing deal for the location and again, ambiance. Our waters never even reached half before they were automatically refilled, and our waiter checked in with us very frequently and offered his personal reccomendations (the reuben and the Mediterranean salad) and that was had by 3/4 of us. It was a worthy reccomendation. I highly, highly encourage you to go here! Making a reservation is simple and easy, and the menu is available online!“

“Went here after reading about how they make the effort to elevate the rice they use in the sushi. I mentioned that to the server who had no clue and just said she thought the rice was fine. That's what we had. Fine rice. I didn't notice the seasoning being special, and the rice on the nigiri we had was as compressed as most standard places places do it. Way too much. The concept of the rice kernels being separate at all was not there. Other reviews mentioned the authenticity of the sushi, I just mention it was not to the caliber of the sushi we had at an outlet mall sushi shop near Mt Fuji. In other words, standard, nothing special sushi at a mall. The specialty sushi restaurants in Tokyo, Kyoto and elsewhere, were better. Don't know how that matches being "authentic" or not. That's a term that gets thrown around a lot. I can only give my experience of eating sushi in Japan. It was very different here. Now that's out of the way, we had an excellent meal. We started with the kumamoto oysters. The mignonette with the oysters was excellent. The deep fried soft sheel lobster with ponzu was excellent. The uni shooter with raw quail egg on top was nice. I don't know if I'd get it again, though. The miso soup was above average. The markup on the bottles of sake is more than fair. We finished up with a selection of nigiri. All was good. I won't elaborate beyond having a couple pictures. If I lived near here, I'd be back, but it's not better than my local place I go to near my house, so not as likely.“

“The macarons are really good and the butterscotch cake I got was super moist and delicious. My mom got a pistachio cake and she said it was like a vanilla cake with pistachio frosting, so be aware of that. I was really happy with everything I got, though.“

“Decided to try out Cultivate tonight. BEST DINNER I’ve had in a LONG time! The bacon and chicken gnocchi will change your life, absolutely delicious. We also got the charcuterie, chicken lollipops, English chips, and meatloaf. All of which were phenomenal.The wait staff was also the best I’ve experienced for a while. I don’t think our drinks were empty for longer than ten seconds before we were brought a replacement. They were also very thoughtful for when they delivered our food. We got three appetizers, which took us a while to get through, and they did not bring us our entrees until it was apparent that we were done with our starters. Something that I very much appreciate!The atmosphere is really fun and different. Love the decorations and ambiance. If I could give it 6 out of 5 stars I would!“

“Stopped in while visiting SLC as we love Kolaches. These did not disappoint at all! Purchased a variety of savory ones (ham, sausage, sausage and gravy) and wished I had arrived earlier to get the speciality ones of the day. These kolaches were nice sized and filled to the brim with delicious fillings. Will come back for sure on our next visit.“

“I don’t really don’t understand the negative reviews.. (How are you going to critique the color of the food, and no garnish lol). I’ve eaten at Susy’s Kitchen several times, the food is absolutely delicious and I always feel good after eating it. You can really tell she uses fresh, high quality ingredients. Susy is very friendly and personable, and really cares about the service she provides. I think It’s pretty impressive that she runs that entire places on her own, considering how much work goes into preparing good food from scratch. If authentic italian food with real ingredients sounds appealing to you, you should definitely give her a try!“

From the Al Denté Pasta to the visible lemon zest in their fresh made Gelato, Caffe Molise makes it their mission to provide a home cooked and flavorful meal at a more than fair price for the excellent quality! Bring your appetite, the portions are big! My wife's appetizer was basically a meal! The building was old school renovation from a mansion, and the interior was open, warm, and welcoming! Our hostess, Lisa, made the experience wonderful with her superb customer service and humor that made my wife's and my meal that more enjoyable! The manager was in the grind with her crew, true leadership and care for her customer's experience. I am so happy that we decided to dine here for our first trip to SLC. I will go back. “I've come twice while visiting SLC and loved it both times despite my dietary restrictions! Our favorites this time were the salmon (pictured without sauce since I don't eat dairy, although it really doesnt need it as it's very moist) and the cauliflower. The salmon was cooked PERFECTLY! Which is really hard to get at a restaurant in my experience since most places overcook it. I was even more surprised that it was so spot-on medium because the skin was super crispy, almost like a chip! I thought for sure the meat would be well done but nope. The cauliflower was just cauliflower BUT the hummus and chimichurri elevate it to a spectacular place.The only moderate feedback I think could be useful is that the house shrub had way too much vinegar in it; neither of us could taste the strawberry rhubarb at all and it was insanely sour. Like taking shots of carbonated apple cider vinegar. My sister still finished it since she's a trooper and figured the vinegar would help with her upset stomach (from earlier in the day, not from dinner). A couple of the fried oysters were pretty fishy as well, maybe due to their size, but the ones that were more clean tasting were incredible!“

“My friend & I went for lunch about 12:30 on a Friday. We mentioned to our server that it was our first visit & he immediately went over the menu with us to explain the different choices. I had the vegan arepa & my friend had the grilled steak patacon. Hers was prepared with the wrong bread and the server wanted to fix it before he even set it down. She told him she was happy to just try it so he came back with complimentary fried plantain. I took a Tres Leches dessert to go. EVERYTHING was amazingly tasty!
