Tea time at Grand America is such a fun experience and is worth trying. The food is great, the tea is fantastic, and whatever the whipped dessert they give you to start is, I dream about it. I've gone for Mothers Day a couple times, and a few other random occasions. My only complaint is it they don't seem to change the food. Ive been probably 4-5 times and it ends up being the same. Some different seasonal changes would be fun to mix things up!
Anything at the Grand America is just outstanding. We visited the Lobby Lounge late in the afternoon for a couple of drinks and appetizers. The menu is now very limited (after COVID) and could for sure be expended with a more comprehensive fare offering but what really makes this place stand out is the decor, the ambience, the live piano and the excellent cocktails. In the lobby of the Grand America hotel, they offer Afternoon Tea (you have to make reservations ahead of time).Such a fun and fancy feeling to it all. Their signature dandelion tea is excellent.
