“CASH ONLY makes things cheaper! Don't complain when a shot and a beer are $5 no food it's a dive bar and it's a little grungy but is actually overall pretty clean inside. The staff are kind and the guy scanning IDs was a hoot to talk to“

“I went to an event here. They had only 1 bartender working and it was difficult to get a drink. The drinks are pricey and they auto added a 22% tip for the event. The place is very small and the parking is tricky in that area. I didn't order any food. They patio area is nice.“

“I hosted my soon to be daughter-in-laws bridal shower during the afternoon tea and it was the most amazing experiece. The staff went above and beyond to help make the event beautiful and memorable! I live out of state and the staff stayed in constant contact with me to help plan and accomidate my party. They also went way above and beyond to meet the needs of allergies in our group. I cannot say enough good things about our experience and how the service and experience was 10/10!!!“

“Great bar, I was skeptical at first but once we got in there it had a good vibe. The dj (pretty sure their name was Caleb) super nice played songs I requested and was just a vibe. TBH come here to dance, there is a lot of space and it’s just chill“

“Great variety brunch buffet. Service was excellent. Loved the mimosas! Fried rice was also exceptional. Made to order omelet station. We loved the open air dining area. Wasn’t that crowded for a Sunday; but we got there right at opening. Cute decor. Overall an amazing brunch experience and we’ll be back!“

“Incredible vibe last night, largely thanks to Ben! He’s highly skilled and gave 10/10 service. He definitely needs a barback or extra support back there to help the bar hit its full potential, but he handled the rush like a total pro (on a Tuesday evening!). Highly recommend grabbing a drink from him!“

“Staff such as Hilda, Julie, Nathan, and Samai and Siva, have always gone the extra mile to provide the best service.

They are friendly and competent. This is the reason we frequently return.

Your Menu, on the other hand, is limited and over priced. The wine menu could be a bit more sophisticated without increasing prices. It is understood servers do not do the wine purchasing.

The entire service staff could use more support from the organization. It is important for staff morale and may help reduce staff turnover.“

“I attended a Day Party/Brunch yesterday (March 30th) and it was a very nice event, atmosphere, small rooftop area and hookah, nice tables! The DJs played a variety of genres, people socialized and danced. Awesome servers and bartenders. My server, Jacob Meadows, provided excellent service and he was very friendly and personable. I like how there is a food hall directly next door, connected to The Drift Lounge. I highly recommend Taste of Louisiana!“

“Stayed in the Marriott for a weekend on my first trip to SLC for a convention. This bar was the highlight of it. Troy, Kelly, and Breno were fantastic. “Accidentally wandered in to Lake Effect while looking for another place the hotel down the street recommended. Had airport food the day before and hotel breakfast that morning and was craving real food. Had the Birria Tacos from the Brunch menu and have to say they were OUTSTANDING! Some of the best I've ever had. If I lived there, I would have to have those tacos a couple of times a month!“

We were welcomed by our bartender Rhett, he was a wealth of information about the city and especially about dive bars, like this one, which this place truly is and proud of it. Drinks were fairly priced, although Utah makes them meter their pores, but you can always order another?“

“This is a beautiful lounge located within the Grand American Hotel. The place is super classy and a great establishment to visit for date night or a sophisticated after work meeting place. We couldn't recommend Gibson Lounge highly enough. Loved the atmosphere here, and the bread pudding is awesome, BTW!“
