“Stumbled upon this place I saw it had shrimp and grits. Never had that before. Had to try it phenomenally delicious then got the lobster raviolis again phenomenal mostly due to both of the sauces. I’ll definitely be getting the raviolis and the grits and shrimp again. Highly recommended nice staff.“

“Canyon run was delicious. Pineapple, rum, lime. The calamari was great. The burger was not that great, frozen patty for sure. The fries were crisp and delicious. The onion rings were very crispy and big. Our server Sammy was really nice and attentive. The atmosphere is beautiful. The menu is small and a bit pricey. But it was an all around good experience. Altho parking is really tough since it's on the street paid parking.“

“2.5 stars The beer selection is amazing. The food is wonderful…however!, it will take more time than you’d think for service and food. We’ve given this place 4 tries, and while sitting at the bar is amazing for drinks, the table service and food is super slow so just set those expectations appropriately. This is a consistent experience, every time, which is a bummer with the service and food because the food is great! But even if you’re sitting at the bar, food service is *extremely* slow (40 minutes for an order of wings). It’s so unfortunate because otherwise, this place is a gem.“

“Great variety brunch buffet. Service was excellent. Loved the mimosas! Fried rice was also exceptional. Made to order omelet station. We loved the open air dining area. “The atmosphere is beautiful and the live music-saxophone-player is was amazing, (and an unexpected surprise). The craft cocktails were delicious. The presentation of the food was beautiful and very good, however it was a bit pricey compared to the up scale bars and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, our bartender seems to be more interested in talking to the other staff, instead of paying attention to his customers. We had to wait to order drinks, we waited and waited to order food, and he had a really difficult time checking back to see if we needed more drinks. When the food arrived, the bartender had gotten our order wrong, but he was quick to correct it. The scallops, the fennel salad, the calamari, and the miso chicken were delicious. We did inquire about gluten-free options, but our bartender didn't seem to know what "gluten-free" was, and had nothing to suggest. It would be nice to have gluten-free indicated on the menu. (Also, the online menu was different from the in person menu. Not a big deal, but it should be updated.) Overall, we had a really nice experience and were very happy with our food and drink selections. We will be coming back with friends.“

“This place rocks. There’s cover fee on just the weekends and it’s only $5, plus the atmosphere is amazing. They have board games, a pool table, a little patio, and really nice lighting. They don’t serve food but have great beer and cocktails. The service is great as well, especially Thomas, Jonah, and Vee. These guys have always been super kind and helpful when I come in!“

“I attended a Day Party/Brunch yesterday (March 30th) and it was a very nice event, atmosphere, small rooftop area and hookah, nice tables! The DJs played a variety of genres, people socialized and danced. Awesome servers and bartenders. My server, Jacob Meadows, provided excellent service and he was very friendly and personable. I like how there is a food hall directly next door, connected to The Drift Lounge. I highly recommend Taste of Louisiana!“

Didn't taste any chicken at all but the crunchy cheesy rolled up taquitos went well with our drinks.“
