“I had a wonderful dining experience at Vertical Diner today. The welcoming atmosphere and retro-style ambiance immediately drew me in, and I felt so comfortable being in a fully vegan restaurant. It is such a relief to enjoy a meal without worrying about accidental non-vegan ingredients, which made me feel like a “normal” person for once. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food arrived promptly. Everything was absolutely delicious. The Park City IPA was the perfect complement to the Moby Burger I ordered—it truly put the crown on top of an already excellent meal. “Mark of the Beastro is my favorite vegan place in Utah. My best friend and I eat there often enough that they recognize us as the sticker stealers who sits by the window. I love the atmosphere, the decorations, the community, and their values proudly on display, but my favorite thing is the milkshakes! it's so nice to have a milkshake and fries again. I have a goal to try everything on the menu.“

“The park cafe is my go to every Sunday without fail. Everything on the menu is amazing. I moved away for a few years and the only thing I missed in Salt Lake City was The park cafe and the Cathedral of Madeleine. It’s not just the best breakfast in SLC it’s the best breakfast period. “We had the pleasure of eating at Log Haven on our last night in Salt Lake City. Log Haven, true to its name, was comfortable in the most high caliber way.

“Visiting Utah from VA. My best friend wanted to check out some bookstores and we got hungry. We trued stopping at some restaurant that was closed and so we stumbled by this Thai place.

I am not sure if the universe is looking out for me, but my goodness this place hit the spot like no thai restaurant I’ve had to date. I don’t know how else to explain the freshness in the food but it has that touch. Tom Yum soup… absolute killer. Followed up by some random noodle dish I have never heard of. I was upset at myself for ordering a noodle dish because it’s tough to assess a good noodle dish, but this was different. The noodle was somehow so light and the flavor was so subtly packed.

The service and the welcoming attitude of the server was top notch. This place is the perfect definition of a hole in the wall type place that cares far more about how good the food is than anything else. Absolute 10/10.“

“Our new go-to wing place in Sugarhouse. The spice levels just increase the amount of cayenne pepper. To really kick it up add ghost pepper or reaper to any of the wet sauces! Don't skimp out on the habanero ranch for dipping those cajun waffle fries in. Yum!“

“The best breakfast I had in Salt Lake City during my stay here. This bakery is very cozy and the food quality is great. The latte and croissant were great and everything was freshly baked. Highly recommended for brunch and breakfast if you are in the area!

Love the healthy selections from bowls, salads, açaí bowls, smoothie, desserts, coffee and teas. Today I got a harvest bowl and it was seasoned well, super healthy and large in quantity for the price. Service was great everyone was friendly. Can’t wait to try other things on the menu.“

“Absolutely love this place. I go here as often as I can and it will never be enough. All the staff are sweet and very helpful, happy to give recommendations and samples if you're not sure what you want. Prices are 100% reasonable for what you get and the place is genuinely so fun inside.

The only downside is that it's often very crowded because it's so good, and sometimes the people loitering outside can be a lot.

“This is one of the best restaurants we’ve been to in a long time. Excellent food. We got their group sampler plate and it was awesome. Yellow lentils and the chicken were our favorites. And the bread. So much bread and it’s so good. Have to eat with your hands because it’s the only way. We loved it. Bread and our hands. No silverware needed.

Also the Ethiopian coffee with some milk is amazing.

“Historical building downtown with a lovely fireplace inside inviting you to have a beer or two. Found some free street parking along a road around the corner. Pretty busy for the evening of Halloween. Food menu was typical pub fare but plenty of options and the bison burger specifically was delicious. Had an oatmeal stout and a Munich dunkel, both of which were tasty. Really cool spot overall, would return if I lived locally.“

“I was waiting for a delayed flight & reading at the bar. Jill was attentive & responsive. I asked a couple of questions & she was engaging with knowledgeable responses to my questions. I had an enjoyable experience. While I was there, a man sat down a few bar stools over. He was on his phone when he sat down. Jill came through & asked if she could help him. He literally held up one finger like she was his personal paid help. He later told her that SHE was the “help” & therefore his behavior could not be considered rude. What is wrong with people? She was gracious throughout the incident & calmly professional. The man was just acting like an entitled prince. Every other interaction I witnessed between customers & Jill was fantastic over the 2+ hours I waited for my delayed flight.“

“My first visit was today with a group of retired friends. I had the mac n cheese. Very favorful, a little crisp on the top, almost like what my mom used to make.“

“I had a lunch catering order for a work meeting. I set everything up on the website and when the meeting was pushed back I called the store and they generously pushed back the pickup time. When I came in they were busy but still provided me excellent service. The order wasn't ready yet so they gave me a cup for a free drink (buying a little time for them to complete the order) and when I got back it was good to go! The food was fresh, hot, and made perfectly. The cookies are also to die for. I had one meal that was gluten free and left a note stating such, and management had the entire crew change gloves to prevent cross-contamination. The crew was very considerate and went above and beyond on my order! Then they called a couple hours later to make sure that the order was correct and asking about ways to improve. Other fast food places should take note! I was very impressed by this store and extremely grateful to them for making this catering order as smooth as possible. The catering director was also a sweetheart and loved chatting with her. I hope to be ordering again there soon!

“What can I say about this place !!! I am a big fan of Pho. I have to have it few times a week. I tried so many restaurants but there nothing compare to the Pho these people make. It’s literally the BEST place for PHO. I am not saying one of the best but really THE BEST. I highly recommend them. Their place is super clean, the way they handle the food is amazing and the customer service is 110% Please don’t waste your time going somewhere else. Go to these guys, you won’t regret.“
