Just went to the sweet lake in Draper. We were immediately seated but then waited more than 10 minutes to even be greeted or offered a drink. We didn’t stay to see those things happen, we just up and left. It’s extremely rude to not even greet customers for more than 10 minutes. Won’t try it again.
We drove from all over Utah County (some 40 mins) to meet for breakfast (party of 6). 5 of us had Starving Student Cards with BOGO offers. We were hoping to use 2 of them. After we were seated and ready to order they let us know we could only use one card per table even though on the card it states one use per PERSON per day. VERY LAME and misleading. Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade offers fantastic biscuits, delicious hot chocolate, and a great outdoor seating area that welcomes dogs. The raspberry limeade is absolutely fabulous, and the service is known for being friendly and prompt. The basic biscuit is delicious, featuring fluffy biscuits, great sausage gravy, and perfectly cooked chicken and egg. The loaded hash is a perfect combination, while their spin on an Arnold Palmer has become a favorite for many. The Hoss, a breakfast biscuit, is often described as the best some customers have ever had. Overall, the biscuits and gravy are amazing, and while the atmosphere is generally pleasant, some customers have noted occasional service lapses. The coffee is made from good beans, though some found it watered down. Despite minor critiques, the creativity behind the dishes and the attentive service make it a recommended spot for breakfast lovers.
