“Looking for an exceptional dining experience? Look no further than Urban Hill, where you'll find a meal to remember. The restaurant's modern and spacious design sets the tone for a memorable meal. Taylor, our attentive waiter, suggested  the 3 Sticks Pinot Noir and expertly described each dish's preparation and origins. We enjoyed the fresh oysters and beet starter, and the  sable fish tartar (ceviche) was the real showstopper. For my dinner I chose  the sablefish with is similar to black cod. It was cooked to perfection, it left us feeling grateful for the experience. The duck dish was equally impressive, and we left Urban Hill  happy to have found this Gem in down town Salt Lake City.

We came all the way from West Jordan and it was well worth the drive. I would highly recommend Victors pizza to anyone looking for some amazing pizza.”

All their meals are phenomenal… Check out the coconut shrimp and you can’t go wrong with the curry.

“Our meal was fantastic. I had the NY with Gorgonzola and my husband had the sea bass. Both were amazing. Order the roasted mushrooms are to die for! It was our anniversary. There was a card at our table and the staff who served us with us a happy anniversary. The evening ended with a surprise happy anniversary dessert plate. We will definitely return.”

“We went there for Sunday noon for lunch. But they only served brunch. We had two dripped coffees, sautéed mushrooms, Turkish eggs, and an egg sandwich.
The sandwich was coming with potato or arugula salad. They do not let you to change the aide even for an up charge.
The Turkish egg perfect. The coffees were burned and we asked for fresh coffees again and still it had a burned smell. I think they need to wash their coffee machine. The sautéed mushroom was delicious. It needed a little bit of salt though. The Bloody Mary and the pickles were phenomenally good.”

“I recently celebrated my birthday at Ruth's Chris, and it was fantastic! The table was lightly decorated for the occasion, and the service was excellent from start to finish. I was treated to a complimentary dessert, which was a nice surprise. I ordered the 11 oz filet Oscar style with creamed spinach. The food was superb, and the portions were huge—definitely too much for one person! Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely come back.”

“Went to this restaurant for our 9th wedding anniversary. It's price range varies from $45-$85 per entree but definitely lives up to the hype. I had the citrus butter cast iron Alaskan halibut and a side of grilled cauliflower with garlic herb sauce, and a Beehive jack rabbit Gin Commander cocktail. My husband got the Wagyu hanger 8 0z steak, mashed potatoes, and The Espolon Tequila Hefe cocktail. For dessert we got the churros drizzled with raspberry sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream to share. Our waiter Kaden was excellent and on top of things, Jose was our busser and was very prompt, professional, and kind, and the chef was excellent and got our food out in a reasonable amount of time. Pub Burger is a great price on happy hour - definitely top notch bang for your burger buck. Togarashi Chicken is also an excellent plate - well rounded spices on a perfectly cooked half chicken, and the gnocchi it sits on is delicious. Mac n cheese is really tasty as well.

I'm dinging one point specifically for the Marrow appetizer - it's way too mustardy and overpowered all the other more delicate flavors, and the bread was dry. If that recipe gets reworked to ditch the mustard and throw some lightly seasoned butter or oil on the bread, it would be much better.

“This Starbucks is probably one of the busiest locations in the valley because it is located in the U of U Hospital and healthcare providers are always tired & overworked. The amount of volume and fast service this location still does is so impressive, I give props to these baristas! Literally they are keeping this hospital going and running.The drinks have always been made properly and have always been just as delicious even with how busy the baristas are. I enjoy Frappuccino's the most, especially the Mocha Cookie Crumble one, so that is my usual order. I think because of the amount of orders that come through in a day, they do not allow online orders to mess with the queue (is what I believe), which may be kind inconvenient for some, but this location is almost purely for healthcare providers, so those who NEED a coffee will come and wait in the long-looking, but actually short line.Most people that come by the Starbucks do no sit in the area, they normally take their drink and go. This is a high-volume, to-go based Starbucks, so the turn over in the area is quite a lot and so there will normally be seats available if you're looking to sit. It may look crowded, but it's just providers waiting for their drink to take back to their unit.”

“Best late-night when nothing else is available! Can always grab Del Taco. This is a busy location, but they have quick staff that doesn't miss items on orders. Nice inside if you're there during dining area hours. Great takeout option to mitigate the long drive thru line.

Parking: Decent parking lot that is free. Close to trax and has bike rack.

“The very best Subway in Norrhern Utah. The employees here are most Definitely Sandwich Artists! The tastiest masterpieces of Submarine Sandwiches. They’re like the Grinders that was down the road but better. Been eating at this location for decades. For years they had a buy two footlongs & a drink get 1 footlong free on the weekend. We would get that almost every weekend. So delicious & healthy. Absolutely love Subway especially this location their vegetables, bread & meats always seem so fresh & not at all unripe nor stale like some other locations. The employees are nice & have good hygiene. The restaurant is clean. The bathrooms are usually reasonably clean.”

Love the branding, the flowers for sale and the pastry scene. I wish they had skim or even 2% milk. I feel like the standard is whole, oat and almond - whole = super high in fat/calories, oat = super high in carbs/calories, almond is off the table if one has a nut allergy. Would be great to have a healthier alternative. I also noticed if one does not leave a tip, your drink will be made last...”

“Had this place bookmarked to try when we visit SLC. We saw how busy it was around 1:30 but we were seated pretty quickly. I ordered the Trisha and fries and my husband got the shop kid and potato salad. His tasted so good and he really liked his potato salad. I liked mine but it wasn't amazing and I'd for sure try something else, although the fries were so tasty! Ordered my girls the grilled cheese and it was really good!! Will for sure come again!”

Even the frites in Amsterdam can’t compare!! The deli is in the back of the first floor of an office building but it’s super clean, the whole building is clean. You have to walk through it to get to the bathrooms which are, you guessed it! CLEAN!! lol They have a great patio. A parking garage. Traffic isn’t too noisy. There’s a fence of very healthy wisteria buffering. We were visiting from Denver for the day and were coming down from an Incredible Race type visit to most of the ski areas in the area and were starving! Knickerbocker’s had great reviews and was about 3 minutes away from where we were! So glad we stopped! You should too!”

A meal at Crown can feel a bit heavy compared to a burger from somewhere like In-N-Out, and they are thrown together without the care you might find at Red Robin, but they are still delicious. “My wife and I had what is the best meal that I've enjoyed in Utah since we moved here 2-1/2 years ago at Table X (as in the letter, not the Roman numeral). It was a seven-course tasting menu.

We had never been to Table X before. The restaurant is on the upper floor with a bakery below. It's a simple, almost austere space, with a somewhat open kitchen.

Our server Jay was excellent. He was enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about the menu and wines. Speaking of wines, I had totally forgotten that I had booked the reservation because it was a special wine dinner featuring wines by Ronsel do Sil, a vineyard and winery in Galicia, Spain. And, yes, the wines were interesting, varied, unusual and delicious.

Every single course was distinctive and tasty. The favorite of both my wife and myself was the tagliatelle. It reminded me of the last dregs in the bottom of a big pot of mussels at a Belgian bar. You know, when you ask the bartender for more bread to sop up the rest of the broth? If not, trust me, that's the right thing to do.

Anyway, I read another review in which the reviewer said that he makes dinner at Table X a quarterly thing. I will, too.”

Now, I'd seen this place in Dallas and never went, but I decided to go when visiting SLC because it was right next to my hotel. Now, yes, as others may say, the prices are a little on the higher side, but the food was really good. I ordered the braised short ribs (every time these are on a menu, it's a wrap) and got a cookie for dessert. Both were very tasty, and YES, I'd order them again. I also had bread and the green sauce that accompanied it - I can not remember the ingredients, BUT it was super simple and SO BOMB.

My server was Damon, and he was great. Ya-ya, the manager, was extra cool as well. I promise you, I just sat there, ate, and we chatted like I was an employee! I'm staying in the same hotel (another review to come) and going straight to STK when I return!
