I go there now as much as I can and always feel a very warm welcome there. The food is not only delicious but soul enriching and really makes me feel connected to my culture. “Accidentally wandered in to Lake Effect while looking for another place the hotel down the street recommended. Had airport food the day before and hotel breakfast that morning and was craving real food. Had the Birria Tacos from the Brunch menu and have to say they were OUTSTANDING! Some of the best I've ever had. If I lived there, I would have to have those tacos a couple of times a month!“

“I have been going to Lone Star Taqueria since the 90s! But from what I can tell the burritos could feed a family of four!!! My favorite and I have always gotten since day one is the fish taco! I love it so much I have it for my birthday! If you close your eyes and pretend 7200 South is actually a beach in Mexico you're there!!! This place is cute and authentic and I love it. You can even get a beer there if you'd like. So for your next trip to the baha, I recommend Lone Star taqueria!! How many places that are drive-thru, eat indoor/outdoor cute gems in Utah??? This is one place you have to try!“
