“This Curry is ridiculously ridiculous, meaning way too darn good to be real.Update 2024: this place is still probably my favorite Thai place. They have these new curry puffs that are basically just meat pies (like the delicious ones you find in New Zealand and Europe haha). They saw our toddler didn't eat much so they brought us out a fruit plate for free. These people are top tier people. Highly recommend this place!“
“Let me by saying that The service here was above and beyond. That's to say nothing of the incredible food. Chicken Massaman was outstanding. Chicken lollipops are incredible. Please eat these. First time eating here based on reviews and didn't disappoint. Will be back again and again.“
“Both fast, great quality, and nice people. You order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table. I wasn't sure what to get, so I got the aptly named "I Don't Know" which turned out great. The Red Curry was also good and spicy, though there could have been more flavor in the sauce.“
“I have been dining at My Thai for several years and have never been disappointed. The food is consistently good. The Fresh Spring Rolls are some of the best I have ever had. The dining area is sparse and very basic, tables and chairs. Service has always been good. If you are in the area it is worth a stop.“
“I've eaten at most of the Thai restaurants in the valley and this one has the best food! The food is authentic and not too sweet, like a lot of other thai restaurants. They're also so great about accommodating my gluten allergy. Their drunken noodles are delicious. I eat here once a week and haven't had any reactions. I love this restaurant and I want them to stay open forever.Dietary restrictions: They're very easy to work with for a gluten allergy.“
“So glad we found this great restaurant!Food is very, very good. Good price, amazing staff, huge portions and quick serve.I highly recommend the spring rolls, egg rolls, dumplings and to try both Pad Thai with Crispy Chicken and the Fried Rice with Crispy Chicken. It’s nice to get it all and share with friends.Their Thai Tea is also very, very good!“
“Enjoyed this establishment with a very large smile because the food is absolutely on point with tastefully seasoned fresh and made from experience food with a foundation of a professional attitude and demeanor from all involved , in addition to the timely efforts of those who have delivered .. 5 stars hands down .. well “
“Located in downtown SLC, this casual dine in restaurant offers self service. You order at the counter off the simple menu that offers combo plates which includes rice and appetizer. The portion size is huge as they overfill the to go box, and the flavor of their curry it's so tasty with the right amount of spice to give a kick. Best of all is their pricing that's so affordable. If you're looking for a quick bite with no frills & want authentic tasting Thai food, come here!“
“This place seriously has the best food in town and the best prices 14 bucks and I’m stuffed! Also try that green curry ? Kid-friendliness: Bumble bee transformers is in the front looks so cool and pretty open incase you have a runaway easy to grab lolWheelchair accessibility: They have single tables in the center great for a wheel chair to pull up to also decent hight if your worried about that.“
“I was promptly greeted by friendly staff. The meat was super fresh as was the guacamole. The broccoli was amazing. The jalapeños and carrots were fresh and so was the cilantro. The steak was super flavorful and I am incredibly satisfied for the quality and flavour of food for the price point.“
“They have the best curry in SLC. I seriously can’t get enough and it’s always a hit! I usually opt for the massaman curry but they’re all good- especially the seasonal ones, like pumpkin. I usually order to pick up but occasionally eat in (I feel like their to-go orders have a lot more soup/cream in the curry than ordering to-stay, so I usually prefer “to-go”.)“
“Food was delicious and felt authentic. Ordered a dish with crab and it actually came with real crab not imitation crab so I was surprised and impressed! Service was fast and friendly and the place was pretty basic for decor but it felt cozy with the lighting.“
“I was very impressed with Sawadee’s service, they got us in right when we walked in. The food came out faster than I expected and the portions really made the price more than worth it. The servicer was very attentive and while we were wrapping up there was a man on top of it, grabbing us to go sauces and extra utensils when we needed them. I’ve been searching for a favorite Thai restaurant in slc and I’m quite pleased with my experience! Highly recommended the tempura vegetables and Pad Thai.“
“We love Ekamai. Very friendly for gluten-free eating - we love that they are so fluent in this and can make almost anything on the menu gf. In addition, the staff is friendly, the service is great, the food is good, the portions and prices are very good. It's casual - nothing fancy, but a nice place to eat. In addition there is an outdoor patio & they even let our dog sit with us during dinner on the patio one evening. We're pretty loyal to Ekamai for Thai food in Salt Lake.“
“My daughter and I ate at J Wongs on our final day in Salt Lake City. This place is very good! This was our first experience with a robot food delivery server!! Very cool technology and it made for a memorable experience! The food was very good and the portions were very generous. I had the Drunken Noodles and my daughter had the sesame chicken. Both were excellent and service was spot on! Skip the egg rolls, they were dry and not great. Regardless, We will be back!!“
“Somehow I totally forgot to take photos of the food we ordered and just devoured everything! I came here for dinner with a friend and this place is an absolute hit. I recommend their Pad Thai and Koa Gai, curry dumplings and of course the mango sticky rice. The dishes are full of flavors, hot and delicious. This place is the runner-up for best Thai food of the entire Salt Lake valley. The Pad Thai has that signature taste, with the loads of veggies (and crushed peanuts). Mango sticky rice is something you just have to try at a Thai restaurant. The curry sauce on dumplings is good, but I think the dumpling itself could gave been better. They were busy on a Tuesday night (definitely a good sign), and the entire restaurant and decor give off very welcoming and warm atmosphere. Parking on the other hand is tricky. I missed the turn into their parking lot because they are located right after an intersection and there is no big sign or anything outside to tell you that you have arrived. The exterior appears to be very secluded and almost as-if hidden. Regardless, I definitely recommend this restaurant for good Thai food! I would love to come here again with my family.“
“I’ve been wanting to give this place a try and I am happy I was able to yesterday. Service was great. The decor and ambience was colorful and fun. The food was super tasty. Be mindful of spice levels. Mild was pretty spicy. I really enjoyed the drunken noodles. The egg rolls and tempura were delicious. I will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: They can accommodate most things.Parking: Parking lot is decent. Street parking is available.Kid-friendliness: Make sure to ask for no spice as mild is still hot.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance and table are accessible.“
“Authentic, incredible tasting Thai food. As good as it gets. Aranya hits all the marks, the flavors are fresh, spice is perfect and dishes cooked to perfection. Their service is personable and caring. Out of the many Thai options downtown, this one stands well above the rest.“
