“Gotten food from here a few times. Always great food. We live in Utah county, but try to stop in and get food from here when we're up in SL area. If we remember to bring an insulated bag, we put food in it, but even without the food is packaged well and still warm by the time we get back to UT county. My sister lives in Montana and asks us to freeze some of the ChaiYo food to bring up to her.“

“Everything I've tried here has been so good, with really fresh ingredients-- fresh vegetables, fresh basil, etc. My favorite so far is the panang curry, however I also have a weakness for the sticky rice with mango (I don't know where they find their mangoes but theirs are way better than any that I can find!) “Visiting Utah from VA. My best friend wanted to check out some bookstores and we got hungry. We trued stopping at some restaurant that was closed and so we stumbled by this Thai place.

I am not sure if the universe is looking out for me, but my goodness this place hit the spot like no thai restaurant I’ve had to date. I don’t know how else to explain the freshness in the food but it has that touch. Tom Yum soup… absolute killer. Followed up by some random noodle dish I have never heard of. I was upset at myself for ordering a noodle dish because it’s tough to assess a good noodle dish, but this was different. The noodle was somehow so light and the flavor was so subtly packed.

The service and the welcoming attitude of the server was top notch. This place is the perfect definition of a hole in the wall type place that cares far more about how good the food is than anything else. Absolute 10/10.“

“I tried this place for the first time a little over a month ago and I’m not exaggerating when I say, I came back twice that same week and almost once every other week since.

I have had their spring rolls, phõ, and red curry. All 3 were UNBELIEVABLE! Their protein is so fresh and high quality (I’m weird about meat.) Their phõ broth is unreal. They have a lunch special that is so cheap and comes with SO much food. I always have leftovers.

So so yummy. In addition to that, the staff is so kind! I’ve been to so many Thai restaurants and this is my new favorite.“

But the food was LIT. Loved it. Tom Kha Gai was SOOOOOO TASTY. Presentation was pretty awesome as well.

Great food and service. Only drawback was an open front door that seemed to invite the occasional fly. Annoying but the food made up for it. Portion size was large.“

“sawadee has some of the best Thai/curry in salt lake. I was disappointed when I visited last Saturday. I do not have the opportunity to get to this location often and it usually has to be on a Saturday. I just found out that they are no longer offering the lunch menu on Saturday. The lunch menu is my favorite because I could enjoy two smaller portions of different dishes instead of one larger dish. please bring back your lunch menu on the weekend!“

Main dish was seafood Pad Thai - I was a little taken back when it was served. Check out my picture - looks super small, right? The serving size definitely could have been larger. Way to many carrots…. Like half the dish. Also, I have never had a filet of fish plopped on seafood pad Thai. Usually, seafood pad Thai is like - shrimp, clams, scallops. Mussels were a nice touch….. The flavor was great, but the over abundance of carrots and the lack of noodles makes this a below average pad Thai. I am NOT into curry. My dinner guest ordered Massaman Curry and Penang Curry. IF I GO AGAIN, I WOULD GO FOR THOSE DISHES!!!! A++++ curry dishes. Super flavorful and just awesome! All dishes are presented very good and the service was excellent!“

“I ate here last night for the first time. This is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to! I ordered the Drunken Noodles with tofu, Pineapple Fried Rice, and the Coconut Mango sticky rice. All were amazing! On their 1-5 spice range I ordered a level 3 which proved to be just right for me. It definitely packs a nose-running, throat clearing punch. “This restaurant is great! Every time I go there the staff greets me immediately, the restaurant is always exceptionally clean, and the food is always very fresh and tastes great. On my last visit I was helped by two women, Leidy and Yadi. They were very attentive in how they prepared my meal, asking me questions to make sure it was prepared exactly the way I preferred, and prepared it very quickly. This location has a great staff, and you can tell their management has trained them well. Because of their great food and service, I will definitley continue to frequent this restaurant.“

It's a lowkey and chill atmosphere, and the service is always good.The best thing on the menu, bar none, is the orange flavor chicken. It's unlike any orange chicken you've had, and I urge you to treat your taste buds to this citrus-flavored dish. The Pineapple Massaman Curry Lo Mein is also fantastic (and a mouthful to say)! The ham fried rice is an excellent side dish. I wasn't a fan of the Bejing beef as a standalone (too spicy over time), but it would be good as a shared entree with three or four people.I absolutely love Asian Potato and will continue coming back!“
