What One does better than other SLC ramen spots: (1) great sear on the chashu pork, creating a variety of textures from crunchy to melt-in-your-mouth tender, (2) perfectly cooked jammy eggs, not just half but one whole one!, (3) amazing marinade on the karaage, very gingery and moist thigh meat, (4) pleasant pace of service, (5) not as crowded as, say, JINYA. What could be better: richer tonkotsu broth.
My go to place for ramen & their tamale always hits the spot when I'm craving sashimi. The service is always good, the staff are always checking on you, to make sure everything is alright. The place is clean, simple decor, but tasteful! Great place in Sandy!
