“The chicken was good, the sides were meh, and the service was excellent. The crisp on the chicken was excellent, and the skin was seasoned to perfection with curry. My issue with the chicken was that once you had gotten past the skin of the chicken, there was little flavor. It was just a typical bland chicken leg. Though it was cooked to perfection, I wish the flavors would have penetrated deeper. The meal was also overpriced for a small quantity. Overall, I would say it's definitely worth the visit, but I am not sure I will return at that price.“

“Got the Chicken Shawarma in tin and it was delicious! Meat was soft, seasoned really well and tasted fresh. Rice was cooked perfectly. Salad was fresh tasting and it came with some green dressing and hot chili sauce! Super spicy but delicious. Nice and chill in there. Lady at the counter was super sweet and even brought my food to me. A little pricey but most food is nowadays. Definitely going back sometime in the future.Parking: Located south of 2100 South. This is not only the best Somali food, and one of the best African restaurants in SLC, imho it's one of the best restaurants, period, and I'm sad it took me until I was leaving to discover it.The tenderest goat I have ever had, fall off the bone, moist, unctuous and fatty (in a good way), not tough or chewy or dry.Pasta was al dente, and made when I ordered, not sitting around precooked all day. The sauce was flavorful, with diced potato and ground meat, and spooned on top rather than tossed together, as is my preference. My only complaint is I wish they gave you more of it!The woman who cooked it was super nice. In fact everyone there was warm and welcoming.“
“Honestly my favorite chicken place in Utah I’ve been too. Crunch is perfect and it’s juicy inside it’s also very filling for only coming in a two piece. It’s also good the next day for leftovers it doesn’t fall apart or get mushy if you microwave it. Not sure how they do it but A+“
“A nice gentlemen held the door open for me while I was looking the place over. I asked if it was good food and he said yes, definitely was correct. I just got the beef sandwich, and was not disappointed, for the price it was a very nicely sized one, it also included a water bottle and some kind of sauce, I think jalapeño? It had a bit of a kick to it which was nice to add to the sandwich. Over all the sandwich is very simple, but very nice for a light lunch. I'll definitely be back sometime.“
