Willies Lounge Bar • $
1716 S Main St, Salt Lake City

“Small and intimate playing Cypress Hill on the jukebox. If you like beer you can order 4 for $10. They give you a pint and three tokens so the draft is fresh every pour. Big Willie's is right across the street so you can order food from Big Willie's and they will deliver your food with a big smile and extra Fry sauce. You can call in your order. There is an app but not sure if you can order food from it. If you order food to be delivered, break it off for them with a $10 spot at least, just sayin'. We're play playing a league tournament and everyone is having a good time, win or lose. I like this little spot. Big industrial sized Golden Tee, big screen TVs showing sports and they do Karaoke! Cool ass bar!“

Johnny's SLC Bar • $
165 E 200 S, Salt Lake City

“This place deserves way more than just a three star rating! Came into town for a work trip and decided to get some drinks with my new friends as I quickly found out most places closed early or stopped serving booze. I hoped on yelp and quickly found this place an uber ride and boom we were there. I saw the doorman he checked our ids and we had zero issues and inside we went. I went straight to the bar and was greeted by both bartenders who were both awesome. You guys even had my favorite rum Kraken on hand so props to you! We got some drinks and chatted in the room for a bit before heading into the main pool/concert area. I noticed there was a projector with a nintendo switch hooked up and had mario and smash brothers. Holy shit that's awesome!!! Played a few rounds and then started looking around at other patrons of the night. Noticed there was two men playing pool aggressively and before I knew it one of them got a sweet mortal kombat upper cut to the face after trying to grab on his girlfriend. I locked eyes with sub zero just gave him a little smile and drank some more rum n coke. I felt right at home like it was a one of my favorite dive bars back home in AZ. Drinks are cold and cheap, there's a nintendo switch and pool what more could you ask from a bar. I will be back!!!“

Ex-Wifes Place Cocktail Bar • $
465 S 700 E, Salt Lake City

“I now realize that I am older I shouldn't write reviews when I've been drinking but I do vividly remember that bartender being extremely rude. It wasn't right of me and complete lack of respect to say he deserves to get his "*** kicked" so I apologize for that and I still stand by that fact that he played favorites (unless you tipped him very very highly) & he was an a******* so yeah. That's all lol..“

“I’ve been here several times. It’s a local hole in the wall that people enjoy to get inexpensive drinks and play bar games. Great scene for younger college student crowd. Hard to get drinks. Check it out for yourself. See what you think. I’d come again to kill time while waiting for a reservation to any of the near by restaurants.Parking: Main Street is just tricky.Kid-friendliness: NopeWheelchair accessibility: Yes“

Tailgate Tavern Dive Bar •
3550 S State St, South Salt Lake

“If you enjoy a dive bar, which I do, then you'll love this place. It is a great little divey dive, and apparently I'm not the only one who thinks so, because it was packed at 7 PM on Friday night, and the band was just starting to set up. I was there for a quick drink and bite to eat before a movie, so I can't speak to the quality of the live music, but the food was solidly tasty and reasonably priced; I had a grilled ham and cheese with a side of some very good potato salad. Two beers and a filling meal for just under thirty bucks is square deal these days. One tip: try to enter the parking lot from the west, i.e., the back way off of Guest Ave rather than off of State St. For some reason the parking spaces are angled to facilitate traffic flow in that direction, and if you come in from State you'll be pointed the wrong way when you try to park. Or I was anyway, maybe. Also, don't try to park close to the front door of the Tavern. Apparently, all of those spots belong to a Korean noodle joint across the way, and when someone puts up a sign saying they'll tow your car if you park there, believe them, because there's tow truck company somewhere who's just dying to take your money, and chances are they'll hook up your car and ask questions later. There are plenty of parking spaces to the west/northwest of the Tavern (behind the noodle joint) which do not threaten to turn your enjoyable evening into a $500 fustercluck.Parking: Many of the spots close to the door of the Tailgate Tavern are marked as reserved for the Korean noodle restaurant across the parking lot. But there are plenty of unmarked spaces farther to the west, behind the noodle restaurant/north of the Tavern.“
