“Wow! First- the entire staff here were top notch- not one person standing around even though I came in at a relatively slow moment. Every single person stayed busy, but Cynthia was a standout. She was really pleasant and very attentive. She was doing it all- making shakes, running the drive through, taking orders at the front, restocking, sweeping, wiping tables, and literally had a smile on her face the whole time. Take care of Cynthia, guys!! Ive been to a lot of Apollo burgers around the SL and Utah Valleys (bc I love the Greek salad so much), but this was my favorite location. Extra care in the food prepared. 👏👏👏“

“This place used to be my favorite burger place in Salt Lake. Perhaps its my memory, but it seems like the crown burger was better. I wanted the pastrami to be saltier. The burger is $9 and that doesn't include fries or a drink. Why do t they just make a meal option and add a few dollars rather than have you buy everything a la carte. It seems excessively expensive this way. Its still better than all other fast food places. Its still a funner place to eat than any other fast food place. Awesome location if you are in the temple area.“

“This place is AMAZING! Was in town for appointments at Primary Children’s and came here right after. My picky 12 year old was able to find multiple things he loved and the staff was friendly, patient, understanding, and helpful. We ordered cheese burgers either fries and a drink plus onion rings, a shake, and a hand scooped ice cream and it all cost us under $30! The burgers were juicy and delicious, the fries were perfectly done ( crispy but not hard or overdone with a delicious softer inside, not undercooked, and everything was served quickly, kindly, and deliciously. We didn’t have a long wait at all! I loved the atmosphere as did my son! Their shakes are SO THICK you have to eat it with a spoon then try a straw later after it settles / melts a little and it was SO GOOD! Easily the best shake I’ve had in years! Lastly, their fry sauce. I’ve been to a lot of places that serve fry sauce all over the state and this was THE BEST fry sauce I’ve ever had! Not too tangy but not too light on flavor. I loved that they included it for free as well! 100/10 for food and experience!“

“A family owned restaurant. Drove thru there pretty randomly on a Friday night just before their close. The owner is a very nice and polite person. Food was actually super good and fresh that surprised me. Burgers are better than a lot of chain stores and the deep fried mushrooms are pretty juicy. Will definitely come back to support next time when visiting SLC.“

Made to order, thick and juicy, a ton of hot fresh cut fries, a soda machine, and three condiment stations where you can dress your burger in multiple ways--from arugula and pickled beets, to onions, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, relish, kraut, mushrooms, etc etc, including a dozen squeeze bottles of sauces. Have it the way you like it. Plenty of room to eat your burger on the 2d floor overlooking Harmons main floor grocery. A nice lunch spot when you're on the move.“

“This was an excellent experience, through and through. The owner came out and welcomed us in because we were a little lost, and showed us how to get to the menu. The chef came out as well and said howdy to our group. The location shares space with some other businesses, don't be scared just walk in. I got the chicken tenders and was so pleasantly surprised to be given hand breaded, deliciously spiced, excellent chicken. Their dank sauce is amazing, highly recommend it. They also have a dish called Buff Tots, which is the same hand breaded chicken tenders, with perfectly fried tots, shaved parmesan, all smothered in Buffalo Sauce. It was fantastic. Can't recommend this place enough.“

Johnny Rockets has this New Limited Time Sandwich called "MIKE'S HOT HONEY CRISPY CHICKEN SANDWICH" that's not hot at all, but It is very flavourful. I like it so much more than Pretty Birds and Johnny Rockets is located just up the street a short distance North of Pretty Birds' in City Creek Mall. Another added bonus that Johnny Rockets has over Pretty Birds, is that there is also Parking and in house dining or to go option. Of course I have an in with Manager/Cook Christopher that personally knows my tastes and expectations in the food I eat so he recommended the following: a slice of Pepper Jack Cheese, Mayo, Lettuce Tomato, Caramelize the bacon in the Hot hHoney Sauce and it was perfect. If you try this Sandwich ask for these extras and I hope you find yourself in Chicken Sandwich Heaven as I am in at this moment. Only recommendation I'd make to Johnny Rockets with Sandwich is they should offer a side of Coleslaw with it. It would of went great with the Sandwich as well as cooler and refreshing alternative to fries in this hot weather. it's also a small step up from the dinner salad they offer. Other than that still an very satisfying and delicious Sandwich.“

“So yesterday at work I'm devouring the most magical of bagels while waiting for someone to help me for a will call. I was so invested in cream cheese heaven that I didn't notice two of the employees trying to get my attention from the other side of a glass partition. Shortly after (who actually knows how long they watched me just DESTROY said bagel) they came through the man door, one of them in tears while the other just said: "Man, I wish my girlfriend looked at me like you looked at that bagel." Tried the Nomad burger. Honestly thought a burger with salt and vinegar chips on it would be odd, but this is one of the best burgers I’ve had. And the beer is amazing! Has the Golden Spike Hefeweizen and could not be happier. Austin and Taylor were friendly and attentive.

“A Five-Star Experience at Smashburger!
My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite today, and I honestly felt like I was at a full-service restaurant. The service was absolutely top-notch! We barely had time to sit down before our food arrived—I think it was maybe a minute flat.
I had the bacon cheeseburger and my husband went with the mushroom swiss, both of which were delicious. We shared the smash fries and tots, and everything was hot and fresh.
What really made the visit special, though, was our cashier, Steven. He was just the sweetest thing! He offered us water cups while we waited and personally brought our trays to the table. He checked back to see if we needed dipping sauces (we had to go with the fry sauce and smash sauce, of course!), and he even came by a third time to clear our table and offer us refills while we were chatting.
Before we left, we treated ourselves to milkshakes for the road. I actually tried to hand Steven a $5 tip because he worked so hard, but he very humbly let me know they have a tip jar by the register instead.
It’s rare to find that kind of hospitality these days, especially in fast food. We had an amazing time and we will definitely be back to see Steven again!“
