“We’ve been to Hearth and Hill - Sugar House for two birthday dinners this month and will definitely be back for more! Everyone working there acknowledged our occasions and made us feel special. Declan and Mac were our servers and both were excellent - knowledgeable and attentive but gave us the space we needed too.

The food was excellent and there was something for everyone. Over our visits, we’ve had carrot coconut soup, Mary’s chicken, the falafel dish, birria tacos, and the snapper dish. All were fantastic and prices were reasonable. We usually have to box up kids meals for our toddlers, but they (quickly) ate all the salmon, roasted carrots, and buttered noodles!!

There are lots of great options on the wine/cocktail/mocktail menu, and though the beer menu is small, the options are great.

The restaurant is modern, new, and comfortable. It’s just a little loud, but not too bad. Parking was available and easy to validate.

“WOW!!! As far as this review and my opinion.... this place is awesome and amazing. The vibe, the food, both Austin and Sandra were the perfect host to our special day. I dont drink alcohol so it really made no difference, i am a fan of breweries and i can say the beer here is like no other. The food was hard to choose from since this is our first time here. All i can say is this will be my come to place when we are in town with a few hours to spare. We had the house wings with white sauce, my mouth was in heaven and we both had the falafel salad, another perfect choice.the portions were perfect size for me and my new fiancee. (Thanks to Nomad eatery) it was a very pleasant atmosphere for our lifestyle. We shared the peaches and cream desert, but the name should be punches and scream... get your own!! Im a chocolate lover but the homemade granola was to try and the blend of peaches and cream was the perfect pair. The Vibe!!! This place may be small, but it definately has an atmosphere of what you bring to the table. The indoor seating is nice, the outdoor seating is perfect for large groups and "fur babies" we ran short on time with all of our planned festivies, that our little girl had to wait. I can say say a whole lot more, but i will stop at the general store and restroom. Clean and inviting as any other part of this establishment. From the time we stepped foot inside the door and paid our bill we were treated like we belonged there. I am glad i chose this awesome place to get engaged. “Visited when in town for a wedding and Franklin Ave became our go-to stop. Their food is delicious. On our last night they were busy and we could only be seated downstairs. We sat at the bar and had appetizers while we watched three incredible bartenders show their talents with all of the mixers, tinctures,etc. Very highly recommend!“

“My husband and I had dinner there a few nights ago and the food was fabulous. My pork osso buco was so tender and my husband’s chicken provoleta was equally delicious. We also had the spinach and artichoke dip with artisan flat bread and the multi layer chocolate cake and loved both. My education is in design so I pay close attention to my surroundings. The restaurant is beautifully designed and not overdone and from what I saw every table in the restaurant has a view of the city. The flatware was the perfect weight and designed by the well known British designer Robert Welch and lastly the beautiful linens are manufactured in Italy for a beautiful soft finishing touch. All and all it was a wonderful dinner and the staff was perfect, especially our server Sam she was very professional. When we were leaving we saw one of the chefs and told him how much we loved our dinner. He informed us that they have only been open for a week and a half. We were really surprised. I’ve been to other restaurants that have been open for months and can’t get the food and staff in sync no matter how hard they try. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back and will be bringing friends.“

“I'm not even sure where to begin. I am a young combat Veteran. This was the only place near me that I thought I'd have a chance of connecting with other veterans and families of veterans. Last night, Aug 14th, after only a few minutes there I was met with hostility, degrading comments, and physical assault by an intixicated individual. His name is Keven Sloan who isnt even a Vet. I'm in shock that the victims (myself and my friend who is also a combat vet) were removed from the establishment and the aggressors were allowed to follow us to our vehicles. And the people here were completely ok with it. Even as I was signing my tab, these aggressors were by my vehicle the entire time wanting physical altercations. I'm pursuing legal remedies at this time. The news outlets are aware too of what transpired. Stay away from this poorly ran establishment. It's not Vet friendly.“

“Came here for coffee and a light breakfast. I got the toast of the day, beet hummus and ricotta and my friend got the sandwich of the day, ham and cheese. The toast was good but was pretty expensive at $9. The sandwich was a better deal at $12 and was quite tasty but it had really fibrous, inedible pieces of fennel in it which you had to pick out. I also got a couple pastries and a sourdough loaf to-go. The pain au chocolate was $9 but was ridiculously good, so flaky and buttery! Worth it as a special treat. The food was good but didn't seem worth the price, I think the move for table x bread is going for the freshly baked pastries and breads instead of ordering the toasts/sandwiches. Their bread is so good, crispy and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside, highly recommend the sourdough. The drip coffee was also worth it, very flavorful and reasonably priced. If you plan to eat here, be mindful that there are only 3 indoor seats (there are several small tables outside).“

I felt like I should definitely write a review this time because of their special ; tacos with flank steaks with guacamole and this special sauce with the right amount of heat with the course of the side of rice and beans. “Beautiful views and good food (for a hospital). It could obviously be a little more seasoned but hospital food isn’t known for its seasoning for a reason. I prefer going here over the main hospital because of it’s made-to-order food, instead of burgers that have been under a heat lamp. Plus the fries are yummy :)“

“Making great burgers and hand cut fries just inside the second floor Social Hall Ave entrance to Harmons Grocery. Made to order, thick and juicy, a ton of hot fresh cut fries, a soda machine, and three condiment stations where you can dress your burger in multiple ways--from arugula and pickled beets, to onions, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, relish, kraut, mushrooms, etc etc, including a dozen squeeze bottles of sauces. Have it the way you like it. Plenty of room to eat your burger on the 2d floor overlooking Harmons main floor grocery. A nice lunch spot when you're on the move.“

“We ordered 10 meals for an early lunch (11 am). I ordered online with a pick-up time of 11. They don't open until 11 am but I was greeted kindly and they were already preparing my meals. They had them to me by 11:10 with a smile and a great attitude. The meals were all amazing. Only a few of the people there had tried the restaurant and every one of them said they would get their meal again. I have found a new favorite restaurant. “We visited SLC from the UK in June and discovered Nona Bistro on TikTok! It was such a gem—the food was delicious, the atmosphere calm and relaxed, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. It made for a memorable experience.
Here’s what we ate:

• Focaccia Bread: Perfectly done—chef’s kiss, 10/10.
• Charcuterie Board: A nice variety, though a dip would’ve added extra flavour and texture to the spread.
• Cast Iron Lasagne: Absolutely delicious!
• Chicken Piccata: Nice, but drenched in capers, slightly too crispy and a bit spicier than expected. I wasn’t aware it would have a kick, and unfortunately, spice can trigger my endometriosis symptoms, so I couldn’t finish it.
• Dessert: Olive oil pound cake with bourbon whipped cream and berry compote. Honestly, I still dream about it—20/10, could’ve easily had two!

Overall, a lovely experience and highly recommended!“

“Tons of business have small restaurants inside of them, very few are as high quality as Rumsy’s. The staff are kind, cool, and obviously invested in the community that Rumsy is serving.

Smoothies, breakfast fare, and even a few dinner options. They serve beer/wine. Pricing range is in $10-$15 dollar range. Their bacon burrito should be famous and can be served as a bowl also.

Everyone that has a climbing gym membership already knows about it. Non -members do have the option of ordering take out at a kiosk at the front desk, but I’d recommend grabbing a day pass, exploring the indoor climbing, and grabbing a meal here. 10/10.“

“It has been a minute since i was here last. Was up in the area and was telling a friend about the Gawd Awful and how good it was when i ate there while doing work up at the U. It has totally been revamped inside to a new clean Hipster feel with a more “cleaned up modified version” of what i remember. As it was still good and the portion size was smaller it was still really good. But i do miss the old “Dive” it once was tho. It is what made it stand out among the rest of the new hipster joints piping up in the area. It was a really cool place to take people and no one would expect the food to be so good and it proved them wrong every time. We will just have to get used to the new i guess“

“I’ve eaten at Nordstrom Grill three times now, and one thing is consistent: the artichoke spinach dip is absolutely out of this world. I’ve ordered it every visit, and it never disappoints.

The service is great overall—friendly and professional—but it could be just a bit more attentive during peak times. On my most recent visit, I tried the French dip. The flavor was good, but the bread was unfortunately overcooked, which took away from what could have been an excellent dish.

That said, the atmosphere is comfortable, the food quality is generally solid, and it’s still a place I enjoy returning to—especially for that dip alone.

“From the customer service to the food everything exceeded my expectations! I was just here visiting SLC for the day and my friend from here suggested this place since they grew up coming here. Even though the prices scared me a bit, the quality of the food was AMAZING! The Houdini burger was soooo delicious and fresh, I got the rosemary fries which were pretty standard. Lots of seasoning which I liked. The rest of the table got sweet potato fries which were even better! Will definitely be back“
