“The restaurant provided a warm and inviting atmosphere but it was very overcrowded and no were to sit. The staff members were friendly and attentive. The star of the show, the chicken, was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. However, I must admit that the pricing left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. Now, onto the chicken itself. The menu boasted a variety of tantalizing options, and each bite was a burst of flavor. The chicken was tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. The side dishes, such as the coleslaw and fries, were also well-prepared and complemented the chicken perfectly. However, one area that left me slightly disappointed was the pricing. While the quality of the food and service was undoubtedly high, I felt that the prices were a bit steep for what was offered.Overall, despite the slightly higher pricing, I would still recommend the Chicken Place for its delicious chicken dishes and inviting atmosphere. It's a great place to indulge in flavorful meals and enjoy a pleasant dining experience. Just be prepared to spend a bit more than you might expect. With a few adjustments to the pricing, it would truly be a five-star destination.“
“Never would have thought this place exist here in Utah and myself personally being from Houston, Texas living in Utah. This place was recommended by my co-worker who is from Lehi and thought I give this place a try to see what is the fuss about that makes it stand out. It closely resemble Dave's Hot Chicken in Midvale area but more relax atmosphere inside and a window view of cars and I-15 freeway plus an addition of outdoor seating. By reading on some reviews, there was a long waiting time of getting your food so I took upon myself to come/drive here when they open at exactly at 10:30am and there was only 1 car waiting in the parking lot besides myself. There's no drive-thru also so don't expect that. Once they open, was greeted with friendly and helpful staff to get your order started which makes this place feel welcome, it's a pleasant experience to say. I start off ordering their House Special(mild) so I start somewhere I can handle some kick in spicy but tame. My daughter would order the Fushion Fry w/tender(medium and spicy). We didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes to get our order so our experience waiting on food wasn't that bad like others did but then again, we came when they open their doors at 10:30am and there was plenty of staff in the kitchen making peoples order as people start coming in but not as crowded long lines but steady foot traffic and busy like operations. I was impress with their staff asking how we doing, food wise and if we needed anything. Definitely friendly atmosphere where everyone feel welcome and that makes it unique than other fast food place out there so give this place a try and I can't say how this place would be if you would come during lunch er rush hours wise but come early so your dinning experience be worthwhile and a pleasant one. They get my 5 star review so I be coming back but with friends. Thank you Houston Hot Chicken for a wonderful experience.Parking: Came when they open their doors so there was plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: They do have a high chair for babies and it's kids friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, they also have a couple of handicap parking as well.“
“Urban Hill provides a refreshing departure from standard dining experiences in the area. Whether you're looking for a casual dinner with friends or a special date night, Urban Hill delivers on both quality and ambiance. Prices are reasonable given the quality of food and service. Reservations are recommended, especially during peak hours, to secure a table at this popular spot.“
“Amazing place, this is our first time visiting here!! Ashley was our server helped us with what to order, Brussel sprouts omg!! U definitely need to try it!! I ordered fried chicken and my wife ordered wogu beef!! Amazing food, amazing service and their cocktail's were pretty good!! My wife said it's pretty damn good than Gordon's steak at vegas!!“
“The food is awesome, but the drink selection is very limited. They don't even have fountain drinks. I like the simple menu and I think everything is very delicious and it is unique because it's not the kind of stuff you find anywhere else.“
“Cozy spot and really good food. This spot has so many delicious choices it was hard to decide what to eat. I had the portobello mushroom sammy and my friend got the pot pie. Both were very good. The pot pie came with veggies and a roll so was a nice meal. The sandwich including the bread had amazing flavor. We each had a dessert, I had the peanut butter brownie and my friend had the mint brownie which were both very good. I highly recommend this place!“
“Probably the most accurate representation of Chilean food in Utah. I ordered the churrasco and while Holy Cow churrascos are bigger, this one matches it for taste and beats it for price. If you have any ties to Chile, Noemi’s will fulfill your expectations for sure.En fin. Que viva chile, que viva Gary Medel.“
“I cannot say enough good things about this place. Food and drinks are always on point. You have to get ice cream at the end because the chef is always making delicious ice cream. Staff is always knowledgeable and kind. We love going here for date nights or bringing friends from out of town. Can't wait to go back.“
“I was visiting Sandy and wanted to try something local and came across Localz Bistro (true to its name). Went during lunch and tried the Jambalaya Wrap with Chicken and Seafood Gumbo soup. The soup was really good. There seemed to be only one server (John.B) during that time and he was nice and welcoming.“
“I hadn’t been to Eva in years (since I think my 17th birthday!) and I was delighted to find that their quality and service is just as good as I remembered it. They have such a great selection of small dishes - it seems like you really can’t go wrong. The trout was easily my favorite dish of the night. I love the cozy space and the fast service.“
“Loved this place! The environment is awesome, we sat downstairs so it was a little quieter but still vibrant. Would highly recommend the Brussels sprouts, wagyu burger, and bolognese! Will definitely be back.Kid-friendliness: It’s a bar, no kids allowed“
“We came here for brunch on a Sunday. There was no wait to get a table but the service was not particularly fast. The food was quite good but overall too salty - all three dishes we ordered. I think it was the potatoes that had been over salted as we all had those but they totally overwhelmed the dish. I had the short rib hash. My dad had the short rib Benedict. My husband had the chicken fried steak and eggs. Generally I love the food at this place and this may have just been a bad day. Their Bloody Mary’s are fantastic. We also had the apple tart and the peanut butter s’more. The apple tart was fantastic. The peanut butter s’more was pretty good but the peanut butter cookie base barely tasted like peanut butter. Also their ketchup is smoked which is very tasty, but since the potatoes were already way too salty none of us really ate any.Parking: The closest parking is on the street or in a garage. Both are paid.“
“I rank hard because I have been blessed to see much in terms of food... By local standards it is on the top. The food is well presented, it has a flair across each dish, and it tasty! I do not live on SL, I am on my second day of a weekend here; it seems to be one more of those places you need to look for, but you won't regret finding it. Hands down!“
“A must-try fine dining experience in Salt Lake city. Everything was great. Wasn't one thing I didn't enjoy eating or drinking. The service is fantastic and you can tell that a lot goes into the meals. I did the 7 course with beverage pairing (not wine) which included amuse bouche, bread, salad, 4 mains, 2 desserts and 5 drinks. Highlights of the meal were the duck pasta and the lamb. I also really enjoyed the olive oil cake and the drinks. They do have a vegetarian menu (but I didn't get the opportunity to try it).“
“Enjoyed my first trip here. Had a big rowdy group which can be tough but they kept us well fed and drank. Had tuna and oyster apps, would do again. Sea bass was fantastic. Had a bite of pasta, can't remember the name but also fantastic.“
“I popped in here with my Husband for an early dinner. I was SOOO hungry! Good location with lots of fun shops and restaurants nearby. I forgot to get a picture. The food was fresh and yummy!!!! Good way to get your veggies in and eat something that’s healthier! So good!“
“Very tasty slightly more oily than average food. Butter gives the sauce and ingredients that super smooth taste to the pasta dishes. The mix of sausage and mushroom is blended wonderfully with spices to give it am excellent taste to the palette. Attentive and friendly service. Good atmosphere. Paintings on wall are from a local artist.Parking: Back parking lot. Entrance from street is narrow and for a first timer here, hard to spot in the night.“
“We love this place! Such a cute, fun spot with patio dining and hip atmosphere. The food is all delicious, the service is excellent, and the restaurant is kept very clean by some of the cutest staff ever! Yes, we will definitely be back again soon. ?? ?“
“This place is really nice! I love the inside and they have nice lighting. I ordered Good n' Plenty, and I loooooooved their Brussel sprouts and their mashed potatoes! The pulled pork was also delicious and the orange sauce that came with it was also good. The meal was very filling. I think the salads are also a good portion - will come back to try it later. Felt healthy eating it and the staff was friendly.Vegetarian options: A good amount of vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: They list all of their ingredientsParking: Lots of parking shared with other restaurants nearbyKid-friendliness: They have kids menuWheelchair accessibility: I think the people with wheelchair can dine in, but it may be hard to navigate because the seats are kind of close together“
“I really enjoyed my meal here!! We were seated ASAP (party of two) even though the waitlist said around 45 minutes. Food came out so quickly, was absolutely DELICIOUS, and to top it all off the service was top tier!10/10 will be coming back and be recommending this spot to my friends :)“
“We got right in on a Friday night for my sons’ birthday. No wait at all. The food was Delicious! Tried the steak, pasta and fish and chips, all very appetizing! The staff friendly, helpful and the service was quick. The atmosphere open airy with a full bar and stocked wines.“
“I stay often at the Hyatt Place, a hotel that shares the same parking lot as the Elixir Lounge.I've had the opportunity to visit on multiple occasions, and I highly recommend it. It's a family-owned establishment where two generations of owner/daughter take excellent care of their customers.Kaylee has waited on me several times. She's always quick to smile, make me feel welcome, and remembers my order -- which is a tall task because I'm a bit high maintence with how I like my Woodford Old Fashioneds.I highly recommend this to anyone in the area!“
“Our first time eating here, last week we tried during the weekend for dinner and it was too packed so we tried again yesterday around 6pm and it was not too busy. Service was decent. Restaurant clean.Signature dish Cam Rising bowl 4/5 shredded chicken was not dry, sweet potato hash and some green sauce was tangy and herby (wish the sauce had a creamier element would def enhance the flavor of the dish)Roasted Chicken 4/5 super healthy portion on the smaller sideMac n cheese 4/5 great flavor and texture could be cheesierMashed potatoes 5/5 one of the best we’ve had. Creamy, fluffy and golden.Only complaint is the portions were decent but on the smaller side so we came home and ate more. My fiancée and I are from Texas and to be fair it’s true that everything is bigger in Texas, you never leave any restaurant without being fully satiated.“
“Very interesting flavor combinations, ingredients, and great service. I would certainly dine there again if I were a local. I had the grilled elk loin and my dining partner had the braised SRF pork shank. We shared the blistered shishitos and crispy fresh duck rolls as appetizers. Also shared the olive oil cake and coconut panna cotta desserts. Enjoyed them all!“
“My husband and I eat brunch there often and absolutely love the food. Service was superb and is still good but the old staff was much friendlier. We went for dinner on tapas Tuesday for our anniversary I had the charred green beans, Brussel sprouts, lentil soup, steak potatoes and carrots and the flavors were an orgasim for my taste buds“
“The server was very helpful in helping us decide what to get. I got the falafel salad which was very flavorful, the falafel was fresh, not greasy. Thank you for the vegan option. The Golden Spike hefeweizen was also refreshing and easy to go down.Vegetarian options: The falafels salad is vegan. They also have a black bean burger but I'm not sure if it's vegan. They also have a beyond burger“
“We made a reservation for the speakeasy underneath the Bodega, called The Rest - and it was a real treat. You walk into the Bodega, which is its own spot for drinks and light food - and the bartender there will let you in a locked door and direct you down to the speakeasy - where you are met with a different host and a whole food and extensive drink menu. Dark, fun, great service. Good drinks, good food - and a very fun atmosphere - this is definitely worth checking out!“
“First off Sourdough and pastries won James beard nominee, and the taste reflects that consistently!Coffee and ambiance are amazing as well, beautiful gardens and interior design, great beans from Idle Hands Roasting in SLC.Execution on drinks is nice, I had a mocha, they made their own chocolate, and all flavorings in house, this mocha was one of the best I’ve had.Overall my drink was made well, with temperature, milk consistency, and espresso flavor. 10/10.Service was lovely, bread to take home, and some toast with house made butter and jelly, hard to beat!Definitely try it, then get dinner upstairs at night! Come early for pastries as they often sell out early :)Dietary restrictions: Very accomadating“
“This place is a definite "find" for us. Although it's about 45 minutes from our house, I can tell you we will be back frequently. The ambiance is solid, with a cozy and intricate setting. The food was outstanding, with a menu that lived up to expectations. The best Panang we've had in Utah for sure. The prices were amazing for the quality and the atmosphere.Overall, I highly recommend it.“
“Food here is great and at a price point that's hard to beat! Love that they have non-meat options and a toppings/condiment bar so you can customize how you want. Great spot for a quick lunch with lots of available seating. Added plus that it's in a grocery store so you can easily stop in before or after going grocery shopping too.“
“Love this spot. Apps in particular are always good. Cocktails are delicious. Beer selection on point. However, the way they serve beer is disappointing, especially considering the care they clearly put into selecting imports and interesting beers to serve. Belgians, IPAs, Saison, etc are served in a Boston shaker pint glass. For such an elevated atmosphere and dining experience, I would expect them to use proper glassware to serve their brews.“
“J Dawgs is one of my top 3 Utah meals! I have been to almost locations but most of the time I would go down to the OG location near BYU. The SLC store has great dogs but the processes are slower and the people are less engaged. Utah county J Dawgs are way “
“We had the prime rib and added lobster tails! Oh. My. Goodness! It was the best meal ever! I was so impressed with the food and the service. The magic show was super engaging and funny! Will definitely go again!Kid-friendliness: This is probably more suited to older kids or teens, we were there for 2 and a half hours, so someone that could sit still for that long.“
“Really so great! It would be fun to eat on the patio when the weather warms up. The Bloody Mary and coconut pineapple mojito was so good. I’m pretty picky about bloody Marys. The deep fried goat cheese was so much better than I thought it would be and the beignets were so good. My only complaint was that my salad was honestly ridiculously overpriced. $27 for a salad… eesh. Won’t order that again.“
“Ok y'all, hear me out. This place isn't the fanciest, but that's what makes it great. They cook up a steak sexier than a summer dress on a windy day. The char makes you want to run out into the street and yell a high pitched "yeah" at the top of your lungs. The menu is so reasonably priced, and the portions so large, you'll struggle not leaving a larger tip than you normally would. Know what you're getting yourself into, Post 71 is full of "regulars", so you may get an up and down look as an outsider, but the staff are as friendly as can be and will make sure you are well taken care of. Sadly, I missed the memo that the André the Giant worthy T-bone steak is only served on Saturdays and requires a two day in advance RSVP. If you want a good solid meal that won't break the bank, come over and support Post 71.“
“These fish tacos were $14.56. The tacos and fries were both pretty good. There are plenty of tables to choose from and the view is awesome. The service is more sparing, but reasonable for the set up. You order and they bring you your food. You then go up to the front to pay. Drinks are self serve. The chef often comes out and talks with his patrons.“
“We had a good experience at this place! The food was delicious, especially the recommended mango dessert with an extra touch of coconut flavor, which was a delightful surprise. The seating area was cozy and perfect for our company gathering, and the server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. the server she patiently answered all our questions and made sure we were well taken care of. The drinks were well madd, and the prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and service. Overall, it was a five-star experience, and we’ll definitely be returning next time we’re in town.“
“This is hands down the best place to grab food to go in SLC. Really fresh food, made with good ingredients, tastes great. Friendly staff as well which is always nice. I always get the chicken grain bowl, but the Caesar bowl was also amazing, 100% recommend!“
“Beautiful views and good food (for a hospital). It could obviously be a little more seasoned but hospital food isn’t known for its seasoning for a reason. I prefer going here over the main hospital because of it’s made-to-order food, instead of burgers that have been under a heat lamp. Plus the fries are yummy :)“
“Houston TX Hot Chicken was a fun place. The employees were really nice. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very cool and fresh. I felt the seasoning had too much sugar and was disappointed that they did not have any salt packets. The manager said they are working on that. The strawberry frozen lemonade was really good and I'm a big fan of the fries. I really liked that everything is made fresh and nothing is“
