This was the best service experience I've had in SLC, from arrival into the restaurant to the sommelier who helped us pick out wine to our departure. And the food was incredible. Will definitely be back for any special occasion.
Going to go out my way to heap praise on VENETO. I took my wife for her 40th birthday. She is from Northern Italy. Normally we avoid Italian restaurants like the plague but the menu was full of authentic Northern Italy dishes and ingredients. Once she saw Marco, the owner, is from Verona, she was sold to try.The service is exceptional -- like dining in Italy. The staff is extremely attentive, the food is over the top. The portion sizes are perfect. This truly is a dining experience. Not to mention the wine is incredible. We shared a bottle of the Ripasso and it was phenomenal. If I had to complain about anything, parking is limited and the building is underwhelming considering the quality of the rest of the experience. Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in the valley. And they follow the European tradition of no tipping allowed....read full review
