My friend recommended this place to me and it didn’t disappoint. Not only were they able to accommodate me right before their closing time, the owner was super friendly and nice to give me extra water for free. They even carefully wrap the food since I was in a rush to go, The food is delicious and warm after 20 mins drive.

“Started at Mr.Shabu (and WILL NEVER GO BACK there,)but ended up at Shinobi. And we're so glad that we did. Shinobi never disappoints! It is our go to sushi spot. Everything is always fresh and delicious. The service is amazing every time. Thank you to Jenn and team for turning a not so great start to our night, into such a fun and memorable time! Also, thank you for making our son's birthday so special. Highly recommend this spot. It truly is a gem and we will be back soon!“
“A very pleasant experience, even with some loud drinkers there beforehand. The sushi chef was incredible: friendly, kept the conversation going, made us excellent sushi. I'm not that adventurous, but I tried stuff I normally don't like and found it delightful. Complex flavors, ranging from bright to rich umami. Drinks were notably incredible, but didn't feel very strong. I got the lychee martini, my friend got the matcha drink, both stunning, both re-ordered. Ended up a little over $200 total, definitely worth it. Started and ended right at an hour. Excellently run.“

“Food and service were really good. I was not a big fan of the ambiance, tables were a bit close to each other and the music was a bit too loud for my taste. We ordered a number of different sushi rolls and we really liked all of them. We had a mix for both Vegi rolls and regular rolls. The standout rolls in my opinion were the Fiery Furnace and Hawaiian Heater. I also enjoyed the miso soup which was simple but good.“

“Just popped in briefly while friends were having dinner on my way through the city. The hon maguro and the other items I tried from their plates were lovely, well cut, and didn't really need to be dipped in soy sauce or anything since they were flavorful.“

“excellent food, great customer service, and a nice chill atmosphere. This is a great place to bring your family for a night out, they're fast so it's a nice takeout option and it's definitely a place you should visit for lunch. Another plus is the menu has a great variety so there's no way you won't find something you really like“

“Gabi was our server and she was an absolute rockstar. We came for a girls night and she jumped right in and joined our shenanigans. She was a joy to have as our server and whatever she is being paid it is not nearly enough. The food was delicious (definitely recommend the garlic edamame) and it was over a great experience. 10/10 recommend especially if you get Gabi as your server“

“The fermented tea leaf salad was very flavorful and filling. I'm already planning on bringing more people to try it! The samosas had a simple filling of mostly potato and I appreciated that the milk tea boba used actual tea, but the only thing that will keep me coming back is the tea salad.“

“Affordable & delicious sushi! Easy parking and around a dozen tables plus the sushi bar. Wonderful variety of rolls, we had the spicy tuna, salmon/avocado/ cream cheese w/lemon slices and a shrimp tempura roll, a green tea, a Sapporo & an order of edamame....all for $40! Everything was delicious - the only problem is we were traveling through but I'm definitely keeping this on our saved list. Very gracious owners as well!“
