I asked if we had to drink all the broth for pho and the waiter said most I said ok and then Micheal came up saying that I had to drink it to not be charged extra and to fallow the rules. Like wtf it was a question.“

“Their fried rice? Vivid and tasty. I've had three fried rices this week and this was the best, by far. A little on the oily side, but I get it.

The service was great. I called over the phone for pickup, and they had it ready for me when they said they would.

The restaurant itself is very nice. I'm looking forward to going back there sometime to have a sit-down meal.

Our server offered us a booth besides the entrance that had clearly not been well cleaned since the last customer as there were napkins and straw wrappers clearly visible under the table, table top was visually clean but sticky. Besides that the food was a overall really good, the orange chicken was especially delicious“

I do wish they'd have an option on door dash to hold jalapenos and add other ingredients, like king crab and fish eggs. people would pay extra. I would! Not only were they able to accommodate me right before their closing time, the owner was super friendly and nice to give me extra water for free. “Food and service were really good. I was not a big fan of the ambiance, tables were a bit close to each other and the music was a bit too loud for my taste. We ordered a number of different sushi rolls and we really liked all of them. We had a mix for both Vegi rolls and regular rolls. The standout rolls in my opinion were the Fiery Furnace and Hawaiian Heater. I also enjoyed the miso soup which was simple but good.“

There are better sushi joints in town and the servers are a little snotty. Not as bad as the clientele who seem pretentious and obnoxious and make you want to get take out only, which you can. “This place is for sushi because the Chinese food disappointed. We tried a couple of rolls that were delicious and this is the only reason why they got 4 stars. The shrimp dish seemed like a mix of bad seasoned shrimp with unsalted egg drop soup. The Kung pan was weird with unexpected veggies and little flavor. The tiny spicy chicken had way too much coloring and little flavor. They packed everything into one bag and things were smashed. A second bag would have been better.“

“The prices here are so wildly cheap for such good quality. Yi is in our regular rotation and is a comfort place for my partner and I. The sushi is excellent, and they will substitute soy paper for the seaweed if that's something you prefer. We've had most of the rolls at this point, and they're all good. I especially like their wonton soup. The service is always excellent and the restaurant is comfortable!“

“First time here. Absolutely amazing! We had a dishes and both were amazing. Every roll is art! Sat at the sushi bar and it’s the best seat in the house. The Sushi chefs Eddie and Yee are there and you can chat with them and there’s always something to look at. they made Sushi roll super fast and the Sushi Rolls so yummy. The restaurant has a real nice and clean vibe too. The restrooms were clean as well. Definitely my favorite sushi spot in SLC. If I were rating our experience on food/atmosphere, this would have been 5/5 stars.“

“Wandering the city, Takashi was my destination. I had seen this restaurant as I googled the area. Let me tell you, it was not easy to find. I walked past it twice! I trusted Google maps amd walked in a door, only to realize Google was right! Once I entered, it was like walking into a different world. The quietness of the street gave way to a bustling restaurant! I chose to sit at the sushi bar, my first time. Ceasar explained to me how to order, and made my loan dining less awkward (my first time lone dining in decades). I ordered the spicy edemami and the forest gump roll. Both were good. The sushi was very fresh, and watching the team of chefs making rolls was very enlightening! 10/10 recommend.“
