“Itto Sushi: A Mixed Bag ExperienceLocation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) The restaurant’s location is indeed great. Conveniently situated, it attracts a diverse crowd, especially among the younger generation. Plus, having another location nearby is a bonus.Family-Friendly: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Itto Sushi is an excellent choice for families with kids. The best part? You won’t feel guilty if your little ones get a bit rowdy – the neighboring tables won’t mind.Affordability: ?? (5/5) Thankfully, Itto Sushi won’t break the bank. It’s reasonably priced, making it accessible for most diners.Ambience: ⭐⭐ (2/5) Now, here’s where opinions diverge. Personally, I’m not enamored with the ambience. It lacks that cozy, inviting vibe I seek in a sushi joint.Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) On the bright side, the service is lightning-fast. You won’t be twiddling your chopsticks while waiting for your order. However, there’s room for improvement – a touch more warmth and attentiveness would elevate the experience. In summary, Itto Sushi offers a convenient location, family-friendly atmosphere, and quick service. If you’re craving sushi without the fuss, give it a try! ??“
“I was so impressed! My friend took me here and I was amazed! The food was super yummy and really affordable! I was able to get miso soup, fried veggies, salad, steamed veggies, California roll, jasmine tea, and cheesecake for 17 dollars! 10/10 will recommend and I will be back for more!“
“I had an amazing meal at Tsunami Restaurant & Sushi Bar in Union Heights and just have to give it 5 stars. The food was awesome and really stood out in both taste and how it was served. Our waitress, Deanne, was fantastic - she was friendly, knew a lot about the menu, and made our visit really special. The place has a great vibe too, making you feel right at home. I’d tell anyone to go check it out. Big thanks to Deanne and everyone there for such a great experience!“
“Wow. AMAZING food. We got 3 vegan sushi rolls: Tiger roll, Monkey roll and Yummy roll. Super creative, super delicious, super fresh. I loved that they organized it in a pizza style box for takeout. They were also VERY nice. Nice atmosphere inside and they have one outdoor table at front. They also carry delicious desserts like the Snix bar from Sweet &Hazel. Highly recommend trying this restaurant.“
“We’ve eaten here three or four times since they’ve opened and the quality has stayed consistently good. We always get sushi and a veggie appetizer. The fish is fresh and the rolls all have distinct flavors and presentations. I agree with other reviewers that this might be the best sushi in Utah. It’s definitely up there! Favorite rolls (so far): Lotus, Maxima, Crazy Roll (topped with fried onions, yum!), Dragon, San Francisco.“
“This place is known for having a big dinner crowd, which makes it a great place to go for lunch because it’s quiet and the service is super fast. We found the food and presentation to be excellent and the prices are fair. A great place that’s been in business for more than 24 years owned by the same family. P. S. Very clean bathrooms.“
“I visit Mint 2 when I am in SLC every time, and the food is never disappointed. My favorite food is Lollipop Lamb Chops, wagyu steak, and sashimi platter. I have to say walu sashimi (they call Hawaii white tuna) is the best of best. The staff there are very helpful as well.Parking is very convenient.“
“I had never heard of this place and was excited to try it out. It’s a beautiful restaurant on the inside, very nicely decorated. Each table has its own space and there were some larger rooms for bigger groups. The staff were incredible. They’re driving the 5-stars as the food was decent, but nothing too impressive. The egg drop soup was hot but lacked any kind of flavor. The edamame needed to be steamed for a few more minutes as half were still cold and very few popped open very well. The sushi rolls were pretty solid. Nothing glaringly wrong with them and we ate all of the rolls we ordered. The kung pao chicken was very salty, borderline inedible. The fried rice with it was delicious as were the gyoza and the egg roll.“
“We really enjoyed our evening. We ordered 2 or 3 items at a time til we were full. Not rushed, great knowledge of the menu. Fun intimate atmosphere bit a little noisy sometimes.Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and our server was very knowledgeable. He brought my husband the sauces on the side that I couldn't have. It was a great experience on 700 east.“
“This is a great restaurant. Adam is the owner and isn't above helping his staff. I love their General toas, fried rice is a must. They also have a great assortment of drinks. I've have several client meals here and invited my siblings to a dinner.“
“This place is chic, service is exceptional and sushi is fresh and delicious. We ordered toro sashimi, Stargazer and mercury roll, but when the toro came it was a grayish white color which had us worried. Everyone who loves sushi knows that Toro is supposed to be pink... but the waitress was really really helpful. She not only asked the kitchen staff about the reason for the color, she also returned the dish back to the kitchen after we said we didn't want it. We then ordered a wagyu steak fearing for their fish quality, but the rest of the sushi rolls were amazing with big chunks of juicy sashimi inside. I'm pretty sure Stargazer had bluefin tuna on the topping. The wagyu was delicious as well. cooked to perfection for both the meat and the lightly battered tempura asparagus. Over all pretty satisfying experience. I hope the toro sashimi was just a random error. Coming back to try more next time!“
“Admittedly, I am somewhat easy to please with Asian food. But my two cents is that this is some top notch sushi at prices that won’t jeopardize your children’s college fund. The James is a must! Also was quite pleased with how quickly the food came.“
“Chopfuku is the best sushi in town hands down! Don’t go to those half off sushi places when Chopfuku’s quality and service stands out among the rest! You won’t regret trying this sushi that’s fresh! The flavor of every roll is unique authentic bold taste will linger in your mouth for days!“
“This is my second time at this location and our dinner was just perfect, from the hostess who greeted us and gave us a very nice table to our waitress who was very attentive and helpful with our selections and make sure we have Champagne and cocktails thought out our dinner. We will be back.“
“This was my first experience at Top Pot. It came highly recommended by friends. The initial impression was fun and adventurous with a greeting at the entry by Aqua Man and a giant Panda. We were seated promptly, and the wait staff was very good at explaining the concept and the way things worked. We fired up the grill and everyone ordered the broth of their liking. There is a huge selection of everything anyone could want. Many seafood, meats, dumpling, and fresh vegetable options to cook in your broth or in the grill. It took a little time to adjust the heat of the grill properly. But the staff realized our blunder and promptly replaced our slightly burned grill with a fresh new one. Go hungry, leave happy. And for the amount of food, drinks, and deserts you can consume, the prices seem reasonable. I highly recommend you give It a try!“
“Absolutely incredible! We are from southern utah and desperately need you to open up a restaurant in the St George area! This food is flavorful, excellent quality and perfectly prepared. We will be back for sure! Awesome experience. Thanks for the great sushi, filet, salmon and desert!“
“Toro Ramen and Sushi offered a delightful experience! The service was decent, and the ambiance was a plus--small, quaint, and charming, adding a cozy feel to the dining experience. While the ramen didn't quite match up to my California favorites, it held its own and was definitely a standout for Utah. The Japanese fried chicken was a crispy delight, and I'd eagerly order it again. As for the chashu ramen, it was wonderfully warm and incredibly filling and the egg was undoubtedly perfectly cooked in the ramen--a small touch that made a big difference in enhancing the overall experience. A spot definitely worth visiting for a tasty Japanese cuisine fix!“
“Really nice place. Appropriate volume inside. We ordered an appetizer-skewer trio. Very delicious but personally i could taste the wooden skewers just a bit. Then we ordered crispy style sushi- spicy tuna with scallions and crunchy shallots. Pretty delicious! Rice was fried perfectly. I've had this at jinyas before and it was very oily. But this one was perfect. I'm just not sure the texture of the rice is my personal favorite. I would order again if I was with someone who's never had it like my mom or a friend.Secondly we had a tempura fried roll- DTH roll. P good. Not enough texture. Missing a veggie in this one. Would like to try a different roll next time.Husband got the dinner combination plate- tacos and steak. And chicken wings! Delicious“
“We found this place looking for an alternative to the trendy, overpriced, and overrated sushi places we typically go to in Salt Lake City.So happy we did. This place is a gem, with outstanding quality and attention to details, all at a reasonable price. The service was exceptional too.I did not try the ramen, but I strongly recommend the sushi / sashimi, which is possibly the best I have ever had. This is definitely worth the slightly longer drive, and we will come back.“
“Loved my entire experience, start to finish. Ending with a masterful Venus roll that melted in my mouth and left me wanting more, but I was too stuffed. I will be coming back. Our waitress was so lovely, wish I remembered her name. 11/10 would highly “
“This place is by far the greatest restaurant, I never get tired of coming here, the atmosphere is so beautiful there and charming. The employees are outstanding I've been coming here for years and each time is just more beautiful. Thank you so much for providing such a welcoming atmosphere ?❤️“
“This place is always amazing! I love their sushi. I highly recommend the tartare! There was only one time it was so busy we were waiting for our food for a while, but I enjoyed my friend’s company and think dining out shouldn’t be rushed(for the most part).“
“Incredible Service & Exceptional Food. We dined in & had a very good experience. The service was spot on. Definitely be coming back for the experience we had. The food had was delicious. We dined in & had food to go. They were very accommodating with our orders. I highly recommend this place. If it’s busy or not you will get everything you need in a very timely manner.“
“This is a Sushi and a Thai restaurant. We love Thai food and we wanted to try this out. Food is great and tasty. Mango sticky rice desert is our favorite here. That said ambience is okay and mainly pricing is a bit higher than the quantity they give when you compare it with other Thai restaurants around. Service was great though it's a bit slower.“
“This is a new restaurant where China Village used to be. I thought I would give him a try because it looked and smelled very good in there. I got General Tso's chicken and it was absolutely delicious. I definitely will be a returning customer.“
“1st time hereI was really impressed on how the food n prices wereThe food was amazingWe got a bunch of sushi rolls to try. To my surprise it was cheaper then I expected.Kung Pao chicken was really good. Better then alot of other places I been to.“
“Sean was the best server I've had in a long time. Genuinely the nicest and most professional server I've had in years. Food was great, atmosphere is what you expect at PF Chang's with an overall chain feel but all in all, a great experience. Will absolutely be back for more.“
“Great experience, great food, and great service! If you are looking for all of it come here, we had a group of 16 and they had no problem getting us in once a table was available. We all got hibachi and some even ordered drinks and sushi. We all had a great time!“
“Lily was our server and she was excellent. Helped my friend order a roll that was not on their menu. We got some appetizers coconut shrimp and the heart attack, the jalapenos weren't very spicy but it was delicious. We ordered 2 rolls each and tried a few different things I would recommend the Sunkist it was delightful and the sauce was so good also got the mango tango same.“
“They're looking really good in here. They did some remodeling. I've been here many times especially for lunch and I would like to just share with everybody to stop by here and try it out. The sushi is fresh and delicious and moderately priced! You cannot find sashimi this thick at Tsunami or any other sushi place that I've been to in Salt Lake City valley. The only downside is they offer either tuna or salmon. They don't have other raw fish options however, I am hopeful they will add yellowtail one day!Lee's is in Sandy Plenty of free parking. Friendly service!“
“I was actually blown away by this place. I’m a huge sushi fan and have had sushi at a lot of other places , and this one is one of the best I’ve ever had! I will definitely be back. The staff was super friendly as well and when I asked for a side of spicy mayo, they gave me 2 and didn’t charge extra for it like most other places do.“
“I would have never thought sushi from a food truck would be good, but they had amazing food! We got the small tray, and it was more than enough for myself and my mom. The owner was super friendly, and they serve different flavored juices/water every day (we got the strawberry). The 3 cheese roll was my favorite, but the other rolls were up there. Great for large groups with 6-12 roll platters, and the price is fair for the portions ($50 for 3-4 servings). They also stay in the same spot for most of the week , so you don't have to travel to pick up!Vegetarian options: Natural and vegan options“
“The food here is truly delicious. The salmon and filet special is delicious and cooked to perfection. Food would be rated a 5 in my opinion but the restaurant itself needs a renovation. I wish it felt cleaner inside. For that I give it a 4. Service is great though!“
“Great little hole-in-the-wall budget priced sushi with an added catch phase “burrito” enticing diners, who might otherwise be reluctant to indulge in raw fish fare. Popular with delivery apps, DoorDash and GrubHub these handeaten rice rolls are quicker than fast-food for a snack or lunch at the office. Not for all but worth a try as many repeat this healthy light indulgence.“
“The Japanese lady it's kind and helpful, this place will give you a real taste on sushi and culture. Taking care also about fusion and international food.. strong taste, flavor.. best sushi In salt lake for now! Loved Maki RollsKid-friendliness: Sillas para niños, menú para niños nutritivoWheelchair accessibility: Rampas y acceso fácil al parking“
“Really so great! It would be fun to eat on the patio when the weather warms up. The Bloody Mary and coconut pineapple mojito was so good. I’m pretty picky about bloody Marys. The deep fried goat cheese was so much better than I thought it would be and the beignets were so good. My only complaint was that my salad was honestly ridiculously overpriced. $27 for a salad… eesh. Won’t order that again.“
“I like the interior of this restaurant. Their food are average Japanese dishes. I got the sukiyaki and donburi. I probably won't get donburi again because they were mostly onions and a ton of rice. For the price I don't think that was worth it. As for sukiyaki it was really yummy, I had it with less sugar and it wasn't extremely sweet which I liked. I'll probably come back and try other stuff on the menu.“
“Whenever I visit SLC, I like to go to Ichiban for dinner. They have fresh tasty rolls and sushi, service staff are friendly and the food comes out in a timely manner even though they are packed every time I go.This time there was 8 of us so I called ahead to get on the waitlist and they were able to accommodate us within 20 minutes of us getting there. Non-sushi food items were also decent.“
“My wife had the tempura seafood I had a salmon bento box. It was really a nice lunch that was value for money. The place got slammed with a lot of tables in a short time I think there was only once server and she really did a fantastic job. Filled waters checked on everybody and never stopped moving the 5 star review is for her and for a nice restaurant after having a bad experience a few minutes before. We had a rare lunch time open together on a weekday without kids. Thank you so much!“
“Love it when they have their 50% off sushi in the winter, literally a steal!! Their sushis are so good!! It’s also a Korean bbq where you cook your food which seems very popular but we’re here for sushis and sushi only!! Ohh their gyoza is so bomb ?“
“I came in tonight to try the okonomiyaki. I haven't been able to find it anywhere else. It was delicious and so was the sushi we loved this place and we will be back! We had the firebird roll and that was a lot of fun with the blue flames. My husband had the salmon kama. All delicious. We liked reading the story of itto sushi in the menu.Parking: Tons of parking“
“Probably one the better restaurants around the area, I love the jalapeno poppers, they are packed full of tuna and has that sushi taste to them. The fried rice tastes and looks like homemade fried rice, if it weren't for the bbq beef I ordered along with it, it tastes kind of plain. I plan to come back to get sushi instead next time.“
“A beautiful place with friendly staff and good sushi. I had the salmon belly, unagi, orchid roll, and Murray roll. The Murray roll was so delicious. The orchid wasn't really for me. Not bad, just not my preferred flavors of sushi, but I wanted to try something different. They have a good selection for those who don't enjoy sushi as well.“
“Sushi Groove is the best sushi in SLC! The staff is amazing and the rolls are huge and the fish is super fresh! It's our local go-to place for all of our celebrations! Highly recommend! Call ahead and they will save you a table for bigger parties too!“
“If you love sushi, this is the place for you!! This is a family run business with amazing people and amazing service with a great variety of rolls and other menu items! Plenty of options for individuals who appreciate the fried/ cooked sushi as well! The quality of the sushi is just as good, if not better in my opinion then some of the higher priced places that I've been too!! I can't recommend this place enough!! If you're in the area and looking for sushi, definitely stop by!!“
“Love me some WinCo Foods. I was just in to take a peek. I shopped at the one in Henderson Nevada and if you shopped there you know whats up. If you're not familiar with WinCo well let me tell you it's big like WM but prices like WM used to have with way more options for food, a section dedicated to the foods for special diets, keto, non gmo, organic etc... then there's to meat department and offers delicious cooked items like fried chicken, strips, thick jojo potatoes, roast chicken, etc... the team was very sweet and helpful. The bakery is huge offering a large variety of baked items and popcorn/snacks. I have nothing but positive experiences so a 5 it is... Support your local employee owned businesses!“
“Quality sushi. Great customer service. They really listen to feedback and are great communicators. I placed my order online. The owner called to explain they were out of the udon, but was great about replacing it with something else. Too bad the place looks so shabby on the outside, but that's small potatoes. I'd give full marks if they didn't use Styrofoam.“
“I have lived in the Millcreek area for the last 5 years, however, I had never stopped by at this restaurant. I had driven by it so many times and figured I should finally try it. Right when I walked in, I was already enamored by the decor and the set up of the restaurant. The decor in the waiting area is almost like a section out of a museum. There are painting and masks on the walls. It's so interesting to look at and it makes the place look authentic. You get a glimpse of the set up of the restaurant from the waiting room and it is set up like a very authentic Japanese establishment. There are rooms where you can SIT ON THE FLOOR AND EAT ON A CUSHION AROUND A LOW TABLE like Japanese people did back in the day. Each table is sectioned off with authentic wood dividers with wooden lights and hanging sphere lights. I love the touches of the place! The food was delicious as well. There are not many sushi options as it seems more like a dish and side dishes type of place rather than a sushi house. I ordered the breaded pork combo dish that came with tempura, salad, and soup. I had no complaints with it! There was a good amount of food for the price of the combo. I also tried the Smart Roll. I did not realize the salmon was cooked in the roll until I received it. I was wanting a raw fish roll, but that was my mistake, I probably did not read the menu diligently enough. The roll was still delicious and I enjoyed it. A note though: It was stuffed with an abnormal amount of rice, so the ratio between things in the sushi roll and the amount of rice did not match up... There was a lot more rice. This place is a very cute place to come with a date or for an intimate get together with friends! I suggest getting a rice plate rather than sushi at this place. You get more bang for your buck that way and I think the dishes are better anyways!“
“Best Chinese food in Utah, I dare say it is the best I've ever had. It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. This place is amazing! Try the samurai roll.Kid-friendliness: There are the normal kids options; nuggets, mac and cheese, of chicken noodle soup.“
“Very delicious high end sushi here at reasonable prices. Very impressed by the nigiri style sushi here as the fish was excellent quality. I had Blue Fin Tuna, Yellowtail, and Sea Bream and they were all very delicious! I would say it’s better than Itto Sushi for the sushi quality level. Very happy to finally try the food here and will be back for sure“
