“My kids wanted their favourite sushi (tuna roll and teriyaki chicken roll). Sadly neither were on the menu. Nevertheless we got the kids combo which had something they liked. I liked everything. Not my kids favorite but I will happily come again.“

The dracula roll is fun. We liked the presentation and slightly smoky flavor, but believe it would be better with a fresh ingredient or two like cucumber, maybe.

I recommend Lion King, Alaskan, New Orleans (favorite), and Cherry Blossom.“

We ordered a number of different sushi rolls and we really liked all of them. We had a mix for both Vegi rolls and regular rolls. The shrimp dish seemed like a mix of bad seasoned shrimp with unsalted egg drop soup. The Kung pan was weird with unexpected veggies and little flavor. The tiny spicy chicken had way too much coloring and little flavor. They packed everything into one bag and things were smashed. A second bag would have been better.“

We have never been disappointed with either the food or the service. The service is always very prompt and friendly. The managers, Ling and Mike are fun to talk to and they take their food and service very seriously. We of course have our favorite rolls but we always try something different from the long list of unique rolls. We have never been disappointed, and you certainly can’t beat the prices. The sushi is excellent, and they will substitute soy paper for the seaweed if that's something you prefer. We've had most of the rolls at this point, and they're all good. “Checked out Tsunami Sushi Bar recently. We had a big group and made reservations. I don’t think we ended up needing them for a Sunday afternoon, but it was nice to have it just in case. This was my first time here, but I’ve heard great things. I was excited to try it. We ordered the spicy edamame. I loved it. It wasn’t too spicy, which was good. I ordered the Buddha roll with soy paper instead of seaweed. It was soo good! I loved this for a vegetarian roll. A couple people in our group ordered the Honey Badger roll, which is also a vegetarian roll. I really liked this too. It was a lot lighter than the Buddha roll. I’ll have to get this next time. I also had an order of vegetable tempura. These were breaded to perfection! I didn’t love the broth/dipping sauce for these. I felt like it was really bland. I ended up dipping these in soy sauce instead. My boyfriend ordered the Executive Suite Roll & the Fire breathing Dragon Roll. He loved these. He also ordered the gyoza. They were typical gyoza. I left there really full, enjoyed my meal but since I don’t eat fish, it’s hard to compare this to another sushi place knowing I just order the vegetarian rolls. My boyfriend truly believes this place is so much better than other sushi places around. Check it out!“

“I hardly leave reviews unless they're really good or junk. This one deserved a great review. Ask for Austin! Super cool guy who hooks you up with whatever you need. Even when I thought we were ordering a lot, he would describe how much we're having and was confident what we could finish.

Went in for a Valentine's Day dinner at 5pm and even though the wait list had 9 parties in front of us and the host said the wait said an hour it only took us 25min to be seated and have our drinks and orders taken. We ordered probly 5-6x and got things within a few min of finishing our food.

All the fish tasted fresh and just melted in your mouth. Get all the premium nigiri and carpaccio. The King and Jintastic were our favorite sushi rolls. Lowkey the Korean galbi and fried chicken was fire too. Mochi ice cream is real good too.

Entree servings are small which is good so you can try many things and not be scared of having to pay for leftovers.“

“First time here. Absolutely amazing! We had a dishes and both were amazing. Every roll is art! Sat at the sushi bar and it’s the best seat in the house. The Sushi chefs Eddie and Yee are there and you can chat with them and there’s always something to look at. they made Sushi roll super fast and the Sushi Rolls so yummy. The restaurant has a real nice and clean vibe too. The restrooms were clean as well. Definitely my favorite sushi spot in SLC. If I were rating our experience on food/atmosphere, this would have been 5/5 stars.“
