“We found this place looking for an alternative to the trendy, overpriced, and overrated sushi places we typically go to in Salt Lake City.So happy we did. This place is a gem, with outstanding quality and attention to details, all at a reasonable price. The service was exceptional too.I did not try the ramen, but I strongly recommend the sushi / sashimi, which is possibly the best I have ever had.This is definitely worth the slightly longer drive, and we will come back.“

“The experience here was really fun and lively. The food was amazing and the chef came out to say hello and check on us, the other staff was very friendly and enjoyable to talk to. The prices were very reasonable and the quality of food was very impressive. I wish the place was a bit bigger but that's not a big deal at all. I've definitely told many people to try this place if you haven't tried it and to go back and try another amazing dish.“

“I visit Mint 2 when I am in SLC every time, and the food is never disappointed.My favorite food is Lollipop Lamb Chops, wagyu steak, and sashimi platter. I have to say walu sashimi (they call Hawaii white tuna) is the best of best.The staff there are very helpful as well.Parking is very convenient.“
“I cannot say enough good things about this place. Food and drinks are always on point. You have to get ice cream at the end because the chef is always making delicious ice cream. Staff is always knowledgeable and kind. We love going here for date nights or bringing friends from out of town. Can't wait to go back.“

“This is my second time at this location and our dinner was just perfect, from the hostess who greeted us and gave us a very nice table to our waitress who was very attentive and helpful with our selections and make sure we have Champagne and cocktails thought out our dinner. We will be back.“

“This time, we tried the citrus slaw, nam spring rolls, and filet mignon pho, all of which were delicious. We’ve been to Saola several times and it’s always a great experience with its stylish atmosphere, fresh and flavorful food, and outstanding service. Highly recommended.“

But what made me really want to leave a review was our lovely server, Shalae—she was so attentive, personable, and sweet, and just made our whole visit a special treat. “I had an amazing meal at Tsunami Restaurant & Sushi Bar in Union Heights and just have to give it 5 stars. The food was awesome and really stood out in both taste and how it was served. Our waitress, Deanne, was fantastic - she was friendly, knew a lot about the menu, and made our visit really special. The place has a great vibe too, making you feel right at home. I’d tell anyone to go check it out. Big thanks to Deanne and everyone there for such a great experience!“
“We really enjoyed our evening. We ordered 2 or 3 items at a time til we were full. Not rushed, great knowledge of the menu. Fun intimate atmosphere bit a little noisy sometimes.Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and our server was very knowledgeable. He brought my husband the sauces on the side that I couldn't have. It was a great experience on 700 east.“
