“Extremely friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with extremely cheap prices ($5-10 for an entree). Discounted items near expiry make for even better deals ($3-4 per entree). When I came in they were even giving out free homemade protein bars. Baked goods taste as good as dairy, meat/egg/cheese alternatives are also taste very solid. Only downside is no fresh items, but prices, quality, and customer service still make this a stand-out option. Updated from previous review on 2026-04-04“

“keyaki sushi is my favorite! i used to go to garage grill for my sushi nachos. then my best friend sent me a recommendation. ,,,, holy moly! I do wish they'd have an option on door dash to hold jalapenos and add other ingredients, like king crab and fish eggs. people would pay extra. I would! I highly recommend this place but be careful, if you have them, you will get addicted! best ever!“

“Love the food here and the servers are great but after being here for an hour, the manager actually came to our table and told us to leave. Said the wait list is long and we can go to the lobby to socialize. By the way the lobby was nearly empty. We asked to talk to the manager, he said he was it and when we asked if he was serious, he chuckled and said yes. We even left an extra $20 for the server because we knew we’d be here longer. We are a paying table. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant - this is not how you treat your customers. Not a good practice to get people to come back. SO DISAPPOINTING!!!“

“Service was fantastic. The food was beautifuly presented. The selection of rolls is great. The flavor of the rolls I ordered; I can only describe as a beautiful sensation of flavors and textures. “My wife and I recently moved to the Midvale area. We are now frequent customers of Great India. Tonight we ordered their Great India Special Appetizer, the Garlic Cheese Naan, and an order of Chicken Vindaloo (spicy). The flavor is incredible and the food so fresh. We talked with the owners (yep - locally owned, a big plus) and learned that they prepare the Naan when it's ordered, not heated up from earlier in the day. Its obvious! We couldn't recommend a restaurant more highly. Really one our favorites.“

I’ve never heard of them or experienced them before. They did an amazing job!! This was better than I even expected. The staff was SO kind. “The food is always great at Tsunami. I made a mistake with my reservation and accidentally booked it for 2 people instead 5! I realized my mistake as our reservation was getting close. I called up and Ryan (Manager), upon hearing my situation was able to work with me and get all 5 of us seated right on time. I really appreciate the way he handled the whole thing. We'll keep going to Tsunami in Union Heights!“

She was so sweet and helpful when the other crew members were just slacking around. Numerous other employees just walked away instead of helping her, which was infuriating to see. MARY helped with our order from beginning to end.

This place needs more people like Mary.
