He was nice, sweet and detailed about what I wanted. They didn't have any cold tea's and he made sure to get me a cup of ice with a straw. I also don't like cooked veggies, but he let me know he wasn't able to give me any of them unless they were cooked.

“This restaurant's rating is suffering from the bland taste profile most Utah residents are used to. It may be a little expensive, but the flavors are fantastic. This is probably the best restaurant I've eaten at in the SLC-Ogden area. I loved the gochujang ramen, and my partner loved the beef one. The noodles are pleasant and bouncy. The down side I could notice were I didn't realize everything was made and served all at once. So if you ordered apps, it'll come out with your entre. Also some dishes are lighter on flavor compared to the ramen, like the shishito pepper app and the tofu dip. Though imo the tofu dip should taste like that. Shishito I was a little disappointed in but like not by much“

“my family and I really enjoy Mr. Shabu. We have mainly been for the sushi, and have really liked it. The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. Any ways, if your looking for some good sushi, give Mr. Shabu a try.“

“SO GOOD. I always get the spicy curry ramen which is THE BEST RAMEN and their sushi is always so tasty! The prices are fair, great people watching seats and it’s usually never too busy so it’s more intimate. The staff is also so kind and attentive. I will come at least once a month seriously.“

“I have been coming here since they've opened and love their food. However, I am very disheartened lately how their cook Olden (I believe is his name) treats the other staff. He tends to get overwhelmed by tickets or special requests. When I've experienced this happening he seems as though he gets stressed out. Then he lashes out on the other staff around him, especially the owner's mother who works the register. I've experienced this on multiple occasions and it's frustrating to see. I love this place but it's beginning to make me not want to come here due to how he treats others. I have kept my mouth closed for the experience of other customers in the building. However, your staff don't deserve this type of treatment and I will be standing up for them the next time this happens in front of me. I've kept my mouth shut long enough.“
