A new combination of flavors and textures that I never have experienced, but now will crave. There was one cook and one server, so the wait was a little long, but completely forgivable once we realized how fresh and delicious each meal was. I’m going to tell everyone about this place. “6 stars if I could. I've tried the chicken and beef and salmon teriyaki bowls, as well as the chicken katsu. They were all excellent, and the beef especially is a standout. I'm not normally a beef guy, but it's so good. Also the fried rice--it's actually rice that has been fried, much better than the vast majority of fried rice nowadays. All cooked fresh, best I can tell. Seriously, I'm really impressed with this place, especially at the price point. Friendly staff. I hope they stick around a long time.“

“keyaki sushi is my favorite! i used to go to garage grill for my sushi nachos. then my best friend sent me a recommendation. ,,,, holy moly! I do wish they'd have an option on door dash to hold jalapenos and add other ingredients, like king crab and fish eggs. people would pay extra. I would! “I have been coming here since they've opened and love their food. However, I am very disheartened lately how their cook Olden (I believe is his name) treats the other staff. He tends to get overwhelmed by tickets or special requests. When I've experienced this happening he seems as though he gets stressed out. Then he lashes out on the other staff around him, especially the owner's mother who works the register. I've experienced this on multiple occasions and it's frustrating to see. I love this place but it's beginning to make me not want to come here due to how he treats others. I have kept my mouth closed for the experience of other customers in the building. However, your staff don't deserve this type of treatment and I will be standing up for them the next time this happens in front of me. I've kept my mouth shut long enough.“

“This place is for sushi because the Chinese food disappointed. We tried a couple of rolls that were delicious and this is the only reason why they got 4 stars. The shrimp dish seemed like a mix of bad seasoned shrimp with unsalted egg drop soup. The Kung pan was weird with unexpected veggies and little flavor. The tiny spicy chicken had way too much coloring and little flavor. They packed everything into one bag and things were smashed. A second bag would have been better.“

We have an opportunity to enjoy a great dinner, very fresh sashimi platter, playboy roll, seafood fried rice… We are surprise that in a small town like this place , we are able to find a great Japanese food that is as great as the Taiko Restaurant in My home town in Southern California …“

“The prices here are so wildly cheap for such good quality. Yi is in our regular rotation and is a comfort place for my partner and I. The sushi is excellent, and they will substitute soy paper for the seaweed if that's something you prefer. We've had most of the rolls at this point, and they're all good. I especially like their wonton soup. The service is always excellent and the restaurant is comfortable!“
