“Loved the calm and simplistic atmosphere, and the food was incredibly satisfying! Definitely surpassed my expectations. The staff was sweet, prompt, and helpful, and the owner (Lily) was personable and caring. We will definitely be returning for many more date nights to come! We each ordered the tonkatsu ramen and we shared the Texas roll. We have now visited twice in one week to try more sushi, and it was great!“

“A bit slower start but nothing wrong with the delightful surprise of how much food to the hot pot you can add and make a delicious hotpot. I had the coconut broth with bokchoy Napa cabbage, two kinds of mushrooms,bean sprouts, lamb, vermicelli noodles, and some other sauces and flavoring. “Been coming here for years and it has maintained consistency. Eat at South Jordan locations 2-4 x’s a month. Whether it is a casual dinner, business lunch with partners or takeout it’s always great. A top favorite and always requested from those visiting from out of state with most coming from big coastal cities (they all say it’s better than their $$$$ places back home). Only minor gripe is online order for takeout and text communications is a little clunky. Hope they refine and make improvements.“

“i love this place, they are a little bit expensive but pretty worth it. i would recommend the sushi options over their other dishes - nothing else i've had here is bad, i just think the sushi is a lot better and more worth the price. I also think the dining booths looked a lot better by the windows. it's kind of awkward how it is right now with them right in front of the bar.“

“The ramen is decent. It won’t knock your socks off, at least if you have been lucky enough to savor ramen in some of the other great cities of the country. The broth did not have that heavy creaminess that I associate with Tonkotsu, and I was not a fan of the pretty sweet mushroom button. But it was more than serviceable and certainly satisfied the craving I had for ramen on that Saturday morning.

Similarly, the gyoza was tasty enough, but not really fried properly and the “skin” was so soft it was kind of tearing apart.“

“It is spacious and ADA friendly. It smells so delicious upon entry. Hugh (sp?) the host was very kind and hospitable. And patient (it took a while for us to figure out what we wanted). Foo (sp?) was an awesome chef! He gave us the tricks but also shared dialogue with us. Very humble and personable, and the food….my husband is picky and he agreed that it was exceptional. Perfectly cooked NY Strip steak, shrimp, yakitori, salad, soup, and salmon (we are from Alaska and they did this little piece of salmon justice ❤️). And Sam the other host was also very hospitable and checked on us. They don’t skip a beat when they saw us roll in with our wheelchair. And other employees were checking on us too. Love this place!!

“I enjoyed my first time experience at Sweet Teriyaki. The look of restaurant is so modern, clean and welcoming. I ordered House special (Chicken, beef and shrimp teriyaki)......so yummy! The portion is huge! I can't wait for their new Thai menu!!!?

“keyaki sushi is my favorite! i used to go to garage grill for my sushi nachos. then my best friend sent me a recommendation. ,,,, holy moly! I do wish they'd have an option on door dash to hold jalapenos and add other ingredients, like king crab and fish eggs. people would pay extra. I would! “This was the best and cutest food truck I have ever seen or eating at. The staff is extremely nice and attentive, and the atmosphere is out of this world. If you’d like cats, you will love this place. The pork belly is extremely tender and flavorful. Plus you get a free cat sticker with your order!!!“

“I have eaten at this restaurant twice. The first time I had the shrimp tempura, which was excellent. The second time I had the baby back ribs with jalapeño teriyaki sauce. It was really nice to try ribs that weren’t slathered with barbecue sauce. The teriyaki jalapeño sauce is not excessively hot and very flavorful.“

“I have been coming here since they've opened and love their food. However, I am very disheartened lately how their cook Olden (I believe is his name) treats the other staff. He tends to get overwhelmed by tickets or special requests. When I've experienced this happening he seems as though he gets stressed out. Then he lashes out on the other staff around him, especially the owner's mother who works the register. I've experienced this on multiple occasions and it's frustrating to see. I love this place but it's beginning to make me not want to come here due to how he treats others. I have kept my mouth closed for the experience of other customers in the building. However, your staff don't deserve this type of treatment and I will be standing up for them the next time this happens in front of me. I've kept my mouth shut long enough.“

“The food was surprisingly good. The service behind the counter was nice. There was not a long wait time for food. But they wanted a tip to order from the counter, seat ourselves get out food from the counter when it was ready, and clean up after ourselves. No atmosphere , just a chow hall. #notipfornoservice“

The food was really good, the portions were bigger than we had expected, enough that we had leftovers.

Try the Pineapple sweet tea, it's like a dessert, so good!!

We got California rolls, Vegas Rolls, the House Special, and Spicy Mix Rolls.

They served Miso soup before our meal, which was delicious!!

“Always good not super great, We like to go to this sushi place a lot because they have a lot of different types of sushi along with Chinese food so if you're not in the mood you can mix and match. Most of their food is really good and almost always tastes good. The servers are excellent and the atmosphere is usually okay it would be nice if they had more booths or more comfortable seating that wasn't around the edge of the building by the windows but it is what it is.“

“We love eating here. The sushi is fantastic, and they do a great job keeping us safe as celiacs who eat gluten free. Everything here is so good. My kids love the tuna sashimi, it has a texture like butter. My husband loves the steak and noodles (not gluten free) and I can't get enough of their sushi rolls. We've never gotten sick here even once, which is a huge win as people with celiac.

Matt is our favorite server here, he is so helpful and so sweet.“
