“This is a hidden gem! Our extended family of 15 had a dinner at The Porch and everything was fantastic. “I hardly leave reviews unless they're really good or junk. This one deserved a great review. Ask for Austin! Super cool guy who hooks you up with whatever you need. Even when I thought we were ordering a lot, he would describe how much we're having and was confident what we could finish.

Went in for a Valentine's Day dinner at 5pm and even though the wait list had 9 parties in front of us and the host said the wait said an hour it only took us 25min to be seated and have our drinks and orders taken. We ordered probly 5-6x and got things within a few min of finishing our food.

All the fish tasted fresh and just melted in your mouth. Get all the premium nigiri and carpaccio. The King and Jintastic were our favorite sushi rolls. Lowkey the Korean galbi and fried chicken was fire too. Mochi ice cream is real good too.

Entree servings are small which is good so you can try many things and not be scared of having to pay for leftovers.”

“Honestly, until now, this is the best Colombian restaurant, good food, excellent service and an appropriste music and ambient, although I've enjoyed the food I think that they can better some things like the chorizo and chicharrón: they aren't bad at all, but has a weird after taste, but HEY!! The individual who brought us our food was attentive and made sure to ask us after how the food was and if there was anything else we needed and that meant a lot. It wasn't too busy at the time we went so our food came out fairly quickly. Would recommend.”

“If you want a good fish meal, this is the place unless you like lesser fish. I like the salmon, but I grew up fishing trout and they taste like cod to me anymore. The server was great, kept an eye on us except after we wanted to leave and pay the check... almost long enough to get enough digested to afford to put a dessert in the stomach. But we got one to go. So, waiting on the check did work to their favor, even if not intentional. I visit this location less than the other in cottonwood heights area. But they are both good.”

“The beef bulgogi maru bowl might be my new favorite food. My mom got the sweet and tangy chicken and it was just as good! The meats were cooked perfectly. A new combination of flavors and textures that I never have experienced, but now will crave. There was one cook and one server, so the wait was a little long, but completely forgivable once we realized how fresh and delicious each meal was. I’m going to tell everyone about this place. Shows to tell that it's one of the favorites among the locals. I ordered Mysore Masala dosa and Chennai Street Style. Large portions. I underestimated the size and I had to pack Chennai Street Style for later dinner.

“This is a small corner restaurant, not a lot of seating. The food tastes amazing in comparison to other franchised hot chicken restaurants. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat beware as there are few staffing, I have waited 45 minutes and was not disappointed. However, they deserve a great rating. Quality, fresh, flavorful.”

“The food at DP is always great, but the service is even better. All employees working tonight at the South Jordan location were so friendly and accommodating. We have little kids and one dropped his bottle of Fanta, shattering the bottle and making a mess. They handled the situation with so much grace and even gave my kid a replacement soda.

“I love going to Oh Mai. One of the best dishes to enjoy. I have been a customer with them for many many years and often go to their locations in South Salt Lake and Salt Lake City. I went in to their South Jordan location and ordered their P.5 - Ribeye & Brisket Pho and on the menu board behind the cash register they have the prices listed as $12.99. I ordered it and was charged $15.46 after tax (before tax $14.25) on my receipt. I thought maybe they made a mistake on the charge so I asked the sweet lady who charged me about the price error. Her reply was that the prices on the menu board are 10 years old and the prices of things have increased. I felt bamboozled by the false advertisement of the price on the menu board.

I hope they can have one of their employees take some time to help place new price tags on the menu board soon or perhaps letting their customers know that the prices are incorrect on the menu board and relay them verbally the new price or hand them an up to date menu with correct prices. Oh Mai thank you so much for being a part of Utah and making delicious food!”

“I love this place. You don’t have to talk to anyone or hear “it’s just going to ask you a few questions” as a listless cashier flips over the screen for a tip. The beef bulgogi is amazing, especially with a scoop of macaroni in it. The music alternates between beautiful and weird. It’s like high class Cup Bop.”

The baristas are aways quick and kind - but not that sickeningly sweet kindness that comes from way too much emphasis on customer service. Their focus is clearly on their actual jobs, and they are casually kind on top of that, and I really appreciate the atmosphere that creates. Sometimes when small coffee places become chains, they get too formal, so it's refreshing to get that perfect casual local vibe.”

The girl who took my order complimented my pin that I had on my lanyard (I thought she was talking about my jacket at first but she wasn’t I just have bad hearing haha). A good number of tables, but the best were the multiple soft chairs that were available. I got an Americano drink, which was great.
