I was visiting Salt Lake from Seattle and was introduced to Local Cookie Co.'s cookies by Christian at Total Athlete Training. He bought several dozen on Valentine's Day for the youth he trains and I just happened to be there. Lucky me! I tried the frosted sugar cookie and was impressed. Wow! I thought these couldn't be much different from other cookie shops but I was wrong. The sugar cookie is amazing and I will dream of the Oreo cookie. Baked goods are my love language and this place is so good.

We went in the day before Easter. The staff were super friendly and made up a big batch of a dozen cookies right on the spot. The iced and filled cookies are done at the time of ordering. It all was clean, fresh, and great presentation. The price was very reasonable as well.
