The good is always great, and the service is bright, friendly, and competent. My one suggestion for improvement is to bring back spicy pork as a meat option. It was the best meat Cafe Rio had.
The staff you had on the takeout line on Friday night, August 28 did a superb job. It was probably the best tostada I’ve had in a long time great portions everything equal.. They did a great job.
I love Cafe Rio - but the food and service at the South Jordan Utah location is always better than the rest!

Cafe Rio serves fantastic food, with everything on the menu being delicious. The staff is always friendly and kind, and they remember customers when they return. Taco Tuesday is particularly popular, offering a great deal that many customers enjoy. Coming from NYC, one customer found this location to be an unexpectedly delightful surprise for fresh fast Mexican food. The chicken tortilla soup and the Sweet Pork burrito and salad are highly recommended. Fresh quality ingredients are a primary goal, and customer service is also seen as exemplary, especially by staff members like Odalis, who is known for being friendly and professional.
However, some customers have noticed a decline in service and food quality over the years. While many have had positive experiences, one long-time customer reported a disappointing encounter with the Tres Leches cake, which was hard and seemed old. Despite this issue, the management demonstrated good customer service by providing a credit for the cake on the customer’s rewards account. Overall, Cafe Rio remains a popular choice, but there are concerns that management should address to ensure consistent quality.
