Moving here frrom a town in IL just north of Chicago, I never expected to find quality kielbasa in UT... but low and behold, Rise By Good Day has saved my polish cravings and kept my stomach happy. You have to get the Weselna Kielbasa. It is my absolute favorite. You also cannot go wrong with pierogies either. Or the poppy seed bread. Or the polish apple pie. I also love trying all the other polish foods and snacks. The ketchup is my new go to. Don't get me started on the Paczki. That's a delicacy of its own. Stop in, you wont be disappointed. The service is amazing. The owner is so friendly, as are her staff. I cannot recommend this place enough. I am looking forward to them opening the new location in West Jordan and trying their pierogi pizza and kielbasa pizza. Mmm!!”

“We've been coming here for years and hope to continue. It's no Takashi but the prices are on point for what you get. We usually get lunch special sushi rolls on weekdays. Our favorites are the playboy, sunset, hawaii and Moab rolls.

We bring our kids here sometimes too and they like the kid's meal options.

“First time trying a kolache, I found out about this place from the food network. It is a solid bakery style bread stuffed with meat. We’ve been back several times from our first visit and have loved most of the food items.

I recommend getting a savory and sweet item while here. I really liked their raspberry sweet item.”

“Great products and great service. What more can you ask for? My story if you’re interested in the extent this small bakery goes through for service. I live in Idaho. My parents in West Jordan. I like to get them treats on occasion. Getting a good product, you never see and getting it to them at the right time has been the challenge. This latest occasion was for Father's Day 2023. I looked up some local bakeries on google that I hoped could deliver in time and had good reviews. I didn't know what to expect when I got in touch with the Flour Box Bakery. It was after hours when I sent a message on their website, expecting to be contacted the next day. I received a message from Gienie (pronounced Jenny if I'm not mistaken) at 9:42 PM that night. We texted and agreed Friday at 9AM to talk. As agreed, she called me on time. Of course, as timing goes, I wasn’t available to talk. She texted me again to follow up. We texted and talked and all of it was smooth and helpful. Initially I was looking for delivery but upon ordering I had a change of plans. I bounced back and forth between pickup and delivery a few times. Gienie was amazing and patient with her accommodations. Not only did she take care of what I needed, she gave great advice. She texted me when the baking was completed and another when it was delivered. She also threw in a few favorites as “extras” at no charge, which was not necessary but appreciated. I didn't get to personally taste the product being in Idaho. I did confirm with my parents who gave rave reviews on the baked goods and friendliness of servcie. I look forward to trying other products and will be ordering more on my next trip to visit. Thank you Gienie.”

“Pretty impressive everything is vegan. The ginger tofu noodle salad was good, the tofu was cooked up nicely and had a crispness to it. The "beef" pho bowl was super tasty. However, the "meat" was bland. But the broth was delicious. Not a lot of gluten free options, but there are some. Would I go again, probably. But I'm not sure what I would try next time.

The reason for 4 stars: The bathroom was disgusting. Smelled like urine, it had urine all over the seats. I decided not to use it and go somewhere else. I didn't even want to touch the door. Kind of concerning if you are eating inside.”

“Lunch time - they didn’t allow us to order ala carte which was super disappointing because we wanted to try the chili paneer, gobi manchurian, noodles & special cheese/paneer/potato dosas. They only had a $12 buffet with limited items: sambar, potato curry, veg (potato, cauliflower, onion biryani) mango rice pudding, fresh hot pooris (these were extraordinary crispy but not oily - like I ate them with my hand and didn’t have any grease to wipe on my napkin) plain Dosas, vada, idili, coconut chutney, tomato chutney, yogurt chutney. Everything was SUPER tasty but wish they had channa, paneer, bhindi for $12! Other non veg buffets include so many more dishes which are costly like butter chicken for the same price. The cost to make the items is very low so I thought the buffet price is TOO EXPENSIVE. I really like the veg dishes but my husband had to get a sandwich after an hour because he was still hungry from no protein in the meal. :(( won’t come back for the buffet but may try ala carte because the food was tasty, perfect spice level.”

My recommendation for Chilly Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan in Non Veg and Chaat is one of very special item. Yummmm. Kids friendly and good for families. Recommended to all.”

La Puente here in West Jordan is the best Mexican food I have had since living in Utah the past few years! Even their Cheeseburger and Fries is the best I've had in this state! Not to mention, the customer service is great, the bathrooms are clean, and the prices are fair. The only complaint I have is that the soda prices could be lower. But, considering how good the food is, I'm willing to pay it.”

“We went up to BFF Turon to meet our son's companion and his parents. We got there a bit early, and the owner came out and talked to us for a good 20 minutes telling us all about Cebu. Once his companion arrived, the owner explained what all of the dishes were and let us sample whatever we wanted. We always go to the bar side, and always request Raven. One time we didn't and got someone else, and it wasn't the same. Raven is amazing and she is always attentive to our needs. She just doesn't grab your order and bring stuff. We have fun conversations with her, and just has a great personality. The bowling is great, but I can't say much about throwing balls into wood. Unfortunately my wife is having surgery this week, so it will be a minute till we can come back. But we can't wait to make it part of our weekend routine again.”

The restaurant has a real nice and clean vibe too. The restrooms were clean as well. Definitely my favorite sushi spot in SLC. A part of the myth that's true is that garlic is toxic to us.
