“Great food, reasonable prices. Service was ok; nothing to rave about but adequate. However, when the bill arrived, an extra 3% was added on AFTER they had already put the charge on the credit card. I would have paid cash if I had known in advance. If they are going to charge extra for use of a credit card, this needs to be clearly stated in advance of them putting the charge on the card.“

Shows to tell that it's one of the favorites among the locals. I ordered Mysore Masala dosa and Chennai Street Style. Large portions. I underestimated the size and I had to pack Chennai Street Style for later dinner.

“The food was so good. We ordered and within five minutes we had everything on our table. Throughout our eating experience, we had a comfortable amount of waitlists coming to our table to take the clutter off the table as we finished. I felt the waitress and waiters were one team looking out for all the tables versus one waitress or waiter just responsible for a couple tables. Great experience. Great atmosphere . Everyone go just for the Naan! We also tried the Papadam and the Gulab Jamun and would reorder both in a heart beat. I will be singing praises for this place for the next forever.“

“We have a lot of good indian restaurants back home in Atlanta, this was one of the best biryanis we had. The best part was the server, young kid was very friendly, attentive taking care of everything on the floor by himself. Good friendly service is always lacking at indian restaurants( mostly owners fault), this guy was exceptional.“

“While, I have never dined in at this restaurant, our family gets takeout often. It is common to be greeted with a big smile by the restaurant owner who is always warm and welcoming. The food is cooked fresh and so savory. We like spicy food, and the medium is almost a bit too spicy, but we go for it each time. Love the heat! Each serving easily feeds two people. If you’re wondering if it will be enough, order an extra and your future self will thank you for leftovers.“

“I am not a foodie nor familiar with Indian/Nepali Cuisine, my vegetarian daughter does like indian food. We thought we would give this place a try. I believe the food was made fresh and there was a bit of a delay, maybe 15 minutes, getting our food but I felt the food was worth the wait. I asked for a recommendation and they suggested the Chicken Masala which I thought was wonderful. I went with medium spice and felt it was pretty mild. My daughter had a vegetarian dish which she said was as good as she has ever had. I felt the portions were fine, I was easily able to split my entrée into two meals so I have something to look forward to tomorrow for lunch.“

Tonight we ordered their Great India Special Appetizer, the Garlic Cheese Naan, and an order of Chicken Vindaloo (spicy). The flavor is incredible and the food so fresh. We talked with the owners (yep - locally owned, a big plus) and learned that they prepare the Naan when it's ordered, not heated up from earlier in the day. Its obvious! “We drove into Salt Lake City around 9pm and there weren't a lot of restaurants open late. We had four different dishes, a couple types of naan, and some of their specialty cocktails. Everything was delicious!
They have a large menu (and drink menu) with everything you could possibly want. We tried the aloo gobi, butter chicken, chicken coconut korma, and the gongura chicken biryani.
The staff was friendly and the whole experience was great after a long day on the road.“
