I got a side of samosas and while I couldn’t tell whether it was baked or fried, it still tasted great nonetheless. I also had the kothey momos, and they were cooked to perfection. “We really enjoy eating at Royal India. Their food is very delicious. For an appetizer, they have a vegetable Samosa which is incredibly delicious. It’s a fried pastry stuff with potatoes and peas and it’s so good. I like their chicken tikka and chicken masala. They can do different spice ranges to customize it for your tastes.“

The lunch buffet is a great value and the service is great. Lunch buffet is also available on Saturdays. Their chicken tikka masala/butter chicken is delicious. We add a bit of salt to it to enhance the flavor. Always like trying different items on the buffet as well. Highly recommend.“
“This is literally the best pizza I have ever had. I am not very adventurous when it comes to trying new foods, so I always get the regular vegetarian pizza and it is amazing! I had the Chicken Coconut Kurma - a unique dish I've never had in Indian restaurants before, and my boyfriend had the Lamb Saag. The food was delicious, the servers were attentive, the prices reasonable, and the decor is beautiful and quiet! We have a few favorites that we always visit on our ski trips to SLC and this is added to the list!“

If you ask for spicy they normally only give you "American Hot". If you are serious about your heat, ask for "Indian Hot." “I don't want to give away the farm on this one, for personal reasons. However, I will say that the food was outstanding! The servings were very hardy, just the right amount of spice (heat) and the service was extra special. (Not special like short bus special). The young man at the cash register was obviously family, couldn't have been more than 13 or 14 years old. But he was super bright, warm, caring, empathetic and giving!! He made what could have been a bad experience for me, something wonderful! (let me clarify...it had nothing to do with the business, it was my mistake). In fact, I was so happy, I cried! “This place used to be Sri Balaji Caffe. Name changed, but the food doesn't seem to have. Hands down the best place for Indian Tiffins in Utah. It's counter service, and you bus your own table, but every time I eat here it takes me right back to the days when I was living in Chennai. Food is legit, curries are simply made right (no "how spicy do you want?"). Freaking delicious, and very well priced for how much food you get.“
