“There’s some haters in this world. But I guess that means this restaurant is doing somethibg right. No one is happy anymore and everyone is a food critic. With that being said, I haven’t ever been disappointed coming here. I go once or twice a week and the food has always been consistent and the staff has always been helpful. I like the welcoming feeling the restaurant provides. Keep doing what you’re doing.“

Epic Brewing Company Brewery • $
825 S State St, Salt Lake City

“If you like heavier beers (heavy, sweet, dessert-like), Epic has some of the best. Some of my favorite include the Brewer Master's Keep, Naked Baptist, Big Bad Baptist, Son of a Baptist. The sours are great as well, if you like something lighter and tart. I was not as much of a fan for the flavored beers, but to each their own. Staff is really friendly.“

“Really crowded and the food comes out a bit late. The place is very loud and you basically have to shout to each other in order to hear each other - if you go behind the order line, there are tables outside and it's more quiet and more chill. The food is alright. There's a mini fireplace and a mini movie theater themed seats. They have 3 different types of sauce for fries.Parking: It gets crowded at night and finding parking nearby is nearly impossible. You have to park a bit further and walk 10 min ish.“

“Nice spot to meet up with people, they have some larger tables as well as cute 2-people spots. The service is friendly and there's water easily accessible close to the bathrooms. I personally like the vibe of other places a bit more but it's not a bad spot! I believe there is parking around the back, my group and I weren't sure at first so we parked elsewhere and walked 2 blocks to get here.“

“Love this spot. Apps in particular are always good. Cocktails are delicious. Beer selection on point. However, the way they serve beer is disappointing, especially considering the care they clearly put into selecting imports and interesting beers to serve. Belgians, IPAs, Saison, etc are served in a Boston shaker pint glass. For such an elevated atmosphere and dining experience, I would expect them to use proper glassware to serve their brews.“

“Had a great time stopping in for a quick couple of beers. Topher, the bartender was awesome. Knowledgeable, conversational, and totally down to earth. I'm from out of town and had not had a great experience with Utah breweries and bars. He changed that. Had two bad a** double IPA's (I generally am not a fan) and he called them perfectly. Great time. Reasonable as well.“
