“Slackwater is a good choice due to the variety of options. This downtown location was very busy. They were almost going to close and it was still extremely busy.

Since it was late, I wasn't able to.get more of their marinara or something else because the kitchen was already closed.

The selection was great and the recommendation was incredible. I tried a little from every person and it was all very good.

“We ate here during our vacay & although it was pricey, the service & food felt fancy. My only suggestion is to turn down the lights. It was super clean & in a neighborhood that looked like it was being re-vamped. I hope their "temporary closure" is very temporary. Locals need to try it out for a date night! (We had the mac & cheese, shepherds pie & homemade noodles with portabello) My son still talks about the Mac & cheese!“

“We loved Stoneground! We were recommend by friends who live here as we are on a work trip and we couldn’t be happier. The hostess was very sweet and helpful and ..... Joel at the bar was awesome! He was killing the drinks coming in to the bar while also conversating and taking orders and great care of us. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

“Everything about having Umani cater my son's Wedding Weekend Welcome dinner outside The Peruvian Lodge was perfect! Santiago was easy to reach and communicate with and he was able to maneuver his amazing truck to the exact spot we wanted on the property. But most important, the food was yummy and abundant! Everyone loved the salad bar (see photo) and pizza offerings and many even loved the all you can eat aspect! Pricing was very reasonable, less than I would have spent at a walk in establishment. “We came here for our 11-yr anniversary. For our 10-yr anniversary we did a pizza crawl in Chicago, Detroit, NYC, and New Haven Connecticut. So this year we did a much smaller version to check out pizza more local to us. Compared to the pizzas we tried in NYC, it was pretty good! The slices are huge. I got a pepperoni slice and my husband got a cheese slice and a bacon/green olive slice.
I thought it was pretty great overall, but my husband wished the crust was more crispy, though he liked the sauce.
The staff was friendly, but the music they were playing was pretty awful and the bathroom was gross. Overall great pizza and we’d come again.“

We were coordinating a wedding at Red Butte Garden that had to be evacuated due to the Salt Lake wildfire, and suddenly found ourselves needing to feed a large group of guests who had missed dinner. In a complete panic, I called and placed an order for more than 20 pizzas with very little notice.

The staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, and efficient. They worked so quickly to put together a massive order and helped us turn a stressful situation into something manageable. “This is my and my friend’s favorite pizza place. We actually order and pick up at the ghost kitchen and it is such a funny experience. The one time the ordering system was down they were so amazing and accommodating and helpful that we still got our pizzas! Even the ghost kitchen is run by the sweetest people alive. “Aly and the others were great! Chanelle was the other bartender, and a young man I didn’t catch his name. They checked on me and we discussed the food menu: apparently you can’t go wrong no matter what. The pizza was outstanding! Loved the vodka martini with the olives and red pepper.
