The store was busy, and Hector was an absolute pro. Friendly, knowledgeable, moving through a packed waiting area, helping everyone, taking the time to unlock the restroom for me, and even going out of his way to get me buffalo sauce in a separate container. Not once did he seem stressed, rushed, or put out. He just seemed genuinely grateful for the business and happy to take care of people.

I’ve spent my career in hospitality as an owner/operator and have 200+ team members across our businesses. You notice people like Hector. He’s a standout—the kind of person every operator hopes to have representing their brand.

And as a dad of four-year-old twin girls who LOVE cheese pizza, I’m also starting to understand the genius of a Hot-N-Ready.

“Slackwater is a good choice due to the variety of options. This downtown location was very busy. They were almost going to close and it was still extremely busy.

Since it was late, I wasn't able to.get more of their marinara or something else because the kitchen was already closed.

The selection was great and the recommendation was incredible. I tried a little from every person and it was all very good.

“We loved Stoneground! We were recommend by friends who live here as we are on a work trip and we couldn’t be happier. The hostess was very sweet and helpful and ..... Joel at the bar was awesome! He was killing the drinks coming in to the bar while also conversating and taking orders and great care of us. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

“Great Food Friendly Service & Atmosphere“

“The food was good and portions overall great for pizza, pasta, and dessert. The salad is a side salad and not worth the $10 it costs. Their menu could have better descriptions and drinks listed. I felt the menu just felt confusing if you don’t know pasta names. I thought service was great and our waitress was great. Atmosphere is a little bland and loud. I might come again, but for the price it’s not at the top of my list. For drinks and main courses, plus a few shared desserts, we spent around $40 a person, which is a lot for “casual” spot.“

“I came here on a whim with 5 other people and the food made a alright day great. My only complaint was they only had bottled sodas but they also give you a glass with ice and a straw with the glass bottle. I haven't really been to a place where the staff isn't nice but the customer service here really stood out to me. The atmosphere is good and that's coming from someone who doesn't care about atmosphere at all. For all 6 of us getting food the bill was around 120$ but for a smaller group/paying for your own food it would definitely be more affordable“
