El Meño's is the go-to spot for authentic Mexican food in SLC. Despite a bit of a wait for the delicious mocajete, the hot and fresh dishes never disappoint. The salsa packs a spicy punch and the flan is a must-try. The friendly service and comfortable seating create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The family running it is very kind and provides great customer service. The pozole (weekends only) is highly recommended, and the rice, beans, enchilada, and tamale are total comfort food. While it can get loud, the overall experience is highly recommended for those who appreciate good Mexican cuisine. The food is awesome, and the servers treat guests very well, often going above and beyond.
