“Been going here for a while. Had a kid and came back 6 years later. The staff is nice, clean bathrooms, clean place and a good vibe. We started going again on chill nights. It's nice and quiet. I know on Monday and Thursday during football season, this is the place you want to be! Not me I'm a basketball girl. But cool place!“

“Service, and drinks are stellar, I love the crew and frequent this bar often, that being said the food is sub par but I don't expect good food from a small bar, and the jukebox is a wild card that can ruin the whole night, most of the time the music is rock, alt music, and some electronic fitting the Edgar Alan poe vibe, last Friday we went for a friends birthday and someone took over the jukebox and played COUNTRY for 2 HOURS STRAIGHT having other patrons and staff battle to try to get it to stop to no avail the country was blasting until we left :(

“I want to give my review of Duces:
I went in on a Monday just this week; and I’ll tell ya, there are some good look’n girls here. There is a gall named Charlette whose sexy curves were absolutely hypnotic to watch, a tall lieth sexy blue eyed blond… (named Blondie, go figure), an adorably cute dancer named Sidney; HELL, even the bartender was better looking than most girls I have seen. (I believe the bartender’s name was Lilly)
But I must admit I am biased because my favorite was Smokey. Now Smokey used to be one of the top dancers at the old Sothern that closed on State Street. But WOW… I forgot how attractive that girl is! She was a 10 out of 10 favorite when I first saw her dance then, and I am glad she is now dancing at Duces. Stunning! She makes me forget anything sad.

I only had a Coke-a-cola (because I had work latter that day) so I don’t know much about the bar.

“I attended a Day Party/Brunch yesterday (March 30th) and it was a very nice event, atmosphere, small rooftop area and hookah, nice tables! The DJs played a variety of genres, people socialized and danced. Awesome servers and bartenders. My server, Jacob Meadows, provided excellent service and he was very friendly and personable. I like how there is a food hall directly next door, connected to The Drift Lounge. I highly recommend Taste of Louisiana!“

“We had a truly spectacular experience at Monte. It saddens me to see the obvious spam reviews. That said, every expertly prepared dish showcased Chef Martins talent. An amalgam of flavor and art came through all 8 courses. What Monte is doing is truly spectacular and unlike anything else in Salt Lake. I hope they get the Michelin recognition they deserve!“

“We celebrated my wife's birthday with a small group. I called a couple of weeks ahead of time to to reserve and the gentleman on the phone suggested a 6:45 table time for the 7:30 show. Unfortunately, he got it wrong and the show time had changed to 8:30 and our table had been promised to another party. The food was great, the service was good but sure wish we would have been able to see the show for her birthday. Conflicted with a good time with friends and family, great food, good drinks, but disappointment that we missed what Prohibition is really known for.“

Started at Mannys across the street for their Kareoke (birthday girl wanted to sing) a bad drink was made was asked to fix it (15 dollar AMF), they then denied the entire party drinks. Then we found ourselves at Willie's, prices were great, drinks were made right, food and service has perfect! Natasha was the best, she deserves a bonus! She was so respectful patient and kind! “My husband and I were in town for a concert later in the day, and wanted to explore the city a little. We both were excited to bet on lunch for whoever could win bowling haha.

We walked in from the main entrance, were greeted and asked if we wanted 21 or over or family. We live in Las Vegas so for us that was new. However, I appreciated that because, then we could be in an environment with similar interests.

We were able to get a drink quickly, and our waitress stopped by a few times. They had the Sunday football game on in the bar section, and that was nice to see; as we hadn’t seen many local bar vibes on our drive.

We also really enjoyed the fact that it was bowl by the hour. Because it was bowl by the hour they had mini game versions of bowling. We played the angry birds version, Halloween version, and robots version. That really made the hour worth it because the mini games were 5 frames instead of the 10. They also added an additional virtual reality vibe to such a classic activity.

Overall, this place was good for a day time excursion. I’m not so sure how it would be at night, but we loved driving through the town and visiting a local hobby place. I also loved that it was a little off the highway, so we could see what some of the day to day city life looked like on a Sunday.“

“A safe space for queer people. They occasionally play Latin music and it’s hard to find a safe queer space for Latin queer folk. The bartenders are always so nice and the DJ’s are nicely rotated so it’s not the same music every week. The key thing about this place is that I’ve never felt uncomfortable and always feel safe. Security is always on top of any bullshit that happens and the security check is a nice addition. Love the open space as well!! I never feel claustrophobic and always have a way to feel relief if the place is crowded.“

“I'm am just laughing at these reviews. Most people will bond with Jumper instantly ♥️ but it takes a while with AJ at the door. I LOVE THE SPOT! IYKYK. They run their place the way they want to and have every right. Know that there is a jukebox for music, you can bring or order food to be delivered here and yes they close at 11:00 but whatever. It's my favorite bar downtown and if you go enough you'll completely understand why. Negative people harshing the vibe should go elsewhere anyway. Quirky is cool.“
