“I’ve met a lot of cool people over the years here, everyone is always really friendly here, and it’s always a great vibe. It’s worth anyone’s time to check out. Karaoke is 7 nights a week which is really unique for a bar and it never fails to be a great time. That guy Bucket at the front has a nice smile.“
“I've been here a couple times. Great food and service. But I was really disappointed last night. A bunch of us met up for drinks after a concert and since I was a designated driver, I ordered a Pepsi. I was charged $2.50, which was fine. A lot of places give it to you for free or cheap if you're driving, but I don't mind paying. My issue is that I was charged the same for every refill. I NEVER have to pay for soda refills at any other bar. To charge for refills at a bar in a state with strict "not a drop" laws, when someone is being responsible and not drinking or is trying to sober up, is unconscionable. Its a really bad policy. Do better, Ice Haus.“
“Pretty cool little corner spot for some excellent Detriot style pizza. The folks were welcoming and attentive, the atmosphere was decorated nicely, and they had a wide selection of beers. I enjoyed their monster on the wall eating pizza. Brickzilla? Bring an appetite when you arrive, this pizza will not disappoint! Thanks for the experience.“
“Our server was excellent! The food was very good too! I got a taco plate which had a chicken taco, a sweet pork taco, and shredded beef taco. I think I like the shredded beef taco the best because of the spices they put in it. My daughter-in-law got a sweet pork burrito with a cream sauce on top. She said it was very good. We will definitely be going back.“
“Scion Cider Bar in Salt Lake City is a delightful haven for cider enthusiasts, newbies, or anyone just wanting to try a new place. Let me paint a vivid picture of this gem:Atmosphere: The Scion Cider Bar exudes a relaxed and inviting vibe. As you step inside, the air hums with the promise of good times. Long communal tables and cozy bar tops beckon, creating an ideal setting for camaraderie.Eclectic Crowd: Here’s the magic: Scion manages to attract a diverse crowd. Whether you’re a sprightly young soul or a seasoned connoisseur (like myself), you’ll feel right at home. No age barriers, just good company.Games and Conversations: Picture this: multiple tables engaged in lively games. It’s like a symphony of laughter and friendly competition. And what pairs perfectly with games? Drinks! Scion gets it right with their enticing selection.Cider Wonderland: The bartender, with a warm smile, guides you through the cider wonderland. She’s like a compass, helping you navigate the sea of options. While I reveled in the cider flights, my hubby found his IPA match. Variety is the spice of life, after all.Food Temptations: Now, I missed out on the food (dinner timing, you know), but the anticipation lingers. The cheese board awaits my return, promising a symphony of flavors.Scion Cider Bar—where conversations flow, games ignite, and cider reigns supreme. Cheers to good times! ? I will definitely be back!“
“An update! My friend and I hosted our 70th birthdays here and it was the best decision ever! Vicki and her team are just wonderful. Everyone had a great time. It felt like "home" ! All the positive reviews say it better than I can. Shhhhh Let's just keep this gem of a tap room our secret!!!!A really fun place and the food is very good with excellent brand of gluten-free bread!“
“Wonderful ambiance. We ate brunch on the patio on a terrific spring day after catching some of the SLC Marathon. We had the Oasis omelet, grilled cheese and soup, grilled tuna sandwich (photo uncle), steak sandwich ( photo included), and chicken sandwich with avocado. The service was exceptional throughout.I highly recommend this establishment.“
“This place is so cute! From pulling up they have a little balcony with cute lights strung up, to walking inside it is such a cute authentic place to go have a drink. This was my first time trying Kombucha and it is something I cannot believe I've never tried before. Employees were quick and prompt which was very nice. Highly recommend this place for a fun place to go get drinks with friends with light appetizers.“
“Can't believe I slept on this place for three years. Amazing food (vegan and omni, Alec made sure we were happy), solid drinks, great staff, friendly regulars... Everything I want in a local haunt. And everything I've been looking for in a "metal bar" (they have a Neurosis Times of Grace flag hanging from the ceiling, ffs).“
“I absolutely love this place! My dining experience at The Pearl was nothing short of excellent. The combination of delicious Vietnamese cuisine, attentive service, and cozy atmosphere made for a memorable and enjoyable evening. Highly recommend!“
“I come here A LOT with my hubby. We have had so many fond memories here such as birthday celebrations, just because, and Holiday celebrations. I have a huge girl crush on one of the gal bartenders. She’s always so nice to me and has the prettiest tattoos! I was brave enough to tell her how pretty she is and she said I am too! Everyone here is a cutie pie and I just am so happy to come here every time the food and drinks are always superb!Vegetarian options: I have vegan and vegetarian friends that are impressed with how delicious their options are! So glad we can have our meat eaters and vegetarian friends together with great drink and food options for everyone!“
“This has become my favorite cocktail bar. The dim lighting, cushioned and cozy seating areas, and funky decor touches create a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. it was not too loud so it's easy to converse, and the crowd was an eclectic and cool group of 30 and 40 somethings. I had the frosted water lily cocktail and it's the best one I've had in SLC. You can also order food from Laziz!“
“We had such a good experience at lucky 13. The lady at the front door was a little rude at first but I think she was just overwhelmed. However Andy at the bar was amazing, he was so attentive and makes a killer drink 10/10 would come back just for Andy.“
“Fantastic donar bowls, medi mix bowls, and other bowls. We love all of the food selections that we've tried and all of the proteins are wonderfully seasoned. This is our go-to place when we need a meal that isn't too heavy but is filling and tasty.Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian options availableDietary restrictions: Gluten free choices available“
“New Year's Eve was so much fun here. I'm so disappointed I didn't get a picture of the amazing giant pretzel. I've never had such a delicious pretzel. The bartenders were quick and attentive even with the number of people crammed in the bar.“
“The drinks are amazing and so is the food, the atmosphere and music/dj is amazing.I’ve been a couple times when it’s kinda busy it’s fine but the second the bar is kinda full the bar get overwhelmed and it takes 30 mins to get anything including closing out.“
“Vegetarian options: We ordered the arugula pizza minus meat. So goodDietary restrictions: They have something for everyone!Parking: Turn in at the FOOD HALL ENTRANCE off 800sKid-friendliness: This place is very kid friendly. As we were there they had lots of kids coloring, watching Disney movies, playing with all the super awesome games provided on the patio.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level double door“
“Delicious, spiced, and fatty skewers. Get the beef four times, the lamb twice, the pork fat twice. Don't forget the mushrooms! Chinese BBQ cuisine brought straight from the night markets of Xi'an to West Valley City. Really. _Get only the skewers_. If you drink, add a beer or one of their unique cocktail styles. Get nothing else. Their barbecued skewers is legit. I don't know why the owners keep adding and diluting their menu choices with boring American-Chinese fare like Broccoli and Orange Chicken. Do they not realize how good their skewers are? That their restaurant can stand with just their barbecued meats? Stop trying to be a generic Chinese restaurant. Stick with the dream of serving the best BBQ sticks in the valley. Don't muddle what your restaurant is about. Be proud. Be unique. We'll do our part and eat just your delicious meat skewers.“
“Super classic, upscale rooftop bar that offers amazing views of the city and mountains. Great service with some well crafted cocktails, including a delicious old fashioned. The atmosphere is swanky but in a relaxed vibe. The bartenders were awesome and they have TVs to not miss that game. The outdoor area is really nice with fireplace seating.“
“Wonderful dinner this evening before an Eccles show next door. We had reservations and were taken right to our table. Service was excellent and really enjoyed the vibe! I love Gin and Tonics, and they have a whole selection to choose from!! I got the Onsen, which has Japanese Roku Gin, my favorite! My husband got a nonalcoholic G&T. We shared the Pan con Tomate, Cerdo, Colifor and Patatas Bravas!! Everything had great flavor and the portions were great for sharing! Can't wait to come back and try some more G&Ts and other menu items!!“
“Wonderful! First time there, primarily for the Mariachi performing group (Tuesdays 6-8). They were fantastic! It can be a little loud, but heh... they performed their first number for the entire restaurant, then proceeded to go around to the different tables and, if requested, perform a special number for the people at that table or booth. We found the food to be quite good as well. Service was perfectly fine. It can be difficult to hold conversations while they are singing, so next time, we might get there at maybe 530, enjoy our food and chat, and then enjoy the performing group for however long we like. Highly recommend this place for the excellent food and for the Mariachi band on Tuesday evenings.“
“I have been to Kennedy's Cabaret a couple of times now. Kennedy, the owner, is inspiring. What she is doing goes beyond Cabaret. She is providing a venue for both experienced talent and new talent in various forms of entertainment. I have met a few of the entertainers like Ciara. Search Instagram for ciarapoledanceand Aria. Search Instagram for ariasaerials19These are just two of the fine talent Kennedy's Cabaret showcases.Aria came to our table, after her performance, and spoke with my wife and myself. She showed genuine interest in meeting us. Aria is not only talented but an athlete with strength to impress. Her pole and hoop work just amazed me.Ciara is also extremely talented and an athlete as well. She is very kind and thoughtful performer. She asked me what music artist I liked and she then gave, what felt like, a personal performance for me; making eye contact, having a smile and I swear she winked at me.Both Aria and Ciara (as well as the other performers) make the experience personal.Great performers make the extremely difficult to look easy and these women do that. Cabaret absolutely has an erotic element, and these women do not disappoint. Physically fit, toned, sexy and talented is a combination that makes tipping these performers a pleasure. They earn and deserve big tips in my book. What makes Kennedy's Cabaret different and better than other venues is the owner (Kennedy) and how she cares about the performers. Kennedy is creating more than just a cabaret but a place for artists of all kinds to have a stage and audience. From my experience at other venues, this is one of the many aspects that makes Kennedy's Cabaret a special place.Note that the cover charge goes to the talent and not the owner's pocket. Kennedy's Cabaret is the kind of place we're you will feel like you belong there and want to frequently return to. I will take photos on my next visit. As for the couple of negative reviews, I find them sad and disappointing. Those persons didn't take the time or put forth any energy to discover what a gem Kennedy's Cabaret is and how wonderful the people are that work and perform their. If you got through my long review and see this note, don't let the few negative reviews influence you to not go to Kennedy's not just once but many times. Also note the amount spent includes the tips we give to the performers. Drink prices are easy on the wallet too.Parking: There is more parking than may first meet the eye. You can park in front of the gate as the bar is open after the gate use hours. You can also park along the building on the west side of the parking lot and in front of the Soup Kitchen. There are four slots reserved for the talent. You can also park under the overpass. I have never seen any persons there that would cause me concern. I think you can also park on the street out front but I need to confirm that.“
“If you're looking for a coffee shop that has delicious coffee and immaculate vibes then this is the one! They support local artists, have a ton of board games available, and, while I didn't order any food, what came out of the kitchen looked very good! My wife and I got the Ponyboy and the Soulstar (I think that's what it's called) and they were DELICIOUS! Very busy on a Saturday, but that's to be expected. The people who work there are very nice and were very apologetic that our order took a minute, but I understand that places get busy lol. All in all, 5 stars all around! We will be back!“
“Absolutely delicious food and fantastic service. Been too long since i have had Lebanese food and this hit so hard. All the employees killed it today, sorry i didn't get your names. Even saw a guy with a kitchen T-shirt on grab menus and sit down customers as they walked in when the servers were running food. Thats pro stuff love to see it. And again the food was so good. Next time i am back in SLC i will come here!“
“As someone who appreciates a quieter atmosphere, my visit to Water Witch left me with mixed feelings. While I understand that many patrons adore this establishment, I found myself grappling with certain aspects that might not have bothered me in my younger days.Space Constraints: The first thing that struck me was the size of the place. It felt too small. The limited square footage made it challenging to move around comfortably.Crowded Environment: Unfortunately, the cozy space way too crowded. The moment we walked in it was difficult to find a quiet corner to enjoy my time.Drink Menu: Glancing at the drink menu, I noticed that the options were somewhat limited. While I appreciate simplicity, I wished for a broader variety of beverages to choose from.Bar Noise: Attempting to engage the bartender proved futile due to the crowded bar area and the deafening music. Conversations were drowned out, and I couldn’t even inquire about specific drinks.Outdoor Escape: Thankfully, Water Witch had a saving grace: a porch/deck space equipped with heaters. Stepping outside allowed me to escape the cramped interior and catch a breath of fresh air.Smoking Area: Regrettably, this outdoor space had a downside: it was also the designated smoking area. As a non-smoker, this dampened my experience. In summary, Water Witch has its merits, especially for those who thrive in lively environments. However, if you seek a more tranquil setting, consider timing your visit carefully or exploring the outdoor space. Just be prepared for a bit of cigarette smoke if you do venture outside.“
“Good space for Intimate concerts supporting new artists. You are standing on your feet the whole time so wear comfy shoes. Bathrooms are good (what you'd normally hope for in public spaces). They do have a 21+ section separated from the main section by like a metal grid, nothing fancy. Just complying with drinking laws. The sound system is really dope.“
“I stay often at the Hyatt Place, a hotel that shares the same parking lot as the Elixir Lounge.I've had the opportunity to visit on multiple occasions, and I highly recommend it. It's a family-owned establishment where two generations of owner/daughter take excellent care of their customers.Kaylee has waited on me several times. She's always quick to smile, make me feel welcome, and remembers my order -- which is a tall task because I'm a bit high maintence with how I like my Woodford Old Fashioneds.I highly recommend this to anyone in the area!“
“The very best bar speakeasy type bar in Salt Lake. My single favorite cocktail, the Absinthe Mind, is a must if you visit. Their kitchen, bar, and choice of jazz is always lovely. If you visit on a Sunday for brunch, prepare yourself; IT IS INCREDIBLE.“
“We are big fans of Beehive's Jack rabbit gin, so on a night out for my birthday we decided to stop by Beehive's bar! We had such a nice time. The cocktails were incredible and so well priced. (We had the Gin and Tonic, Gimlet, and Beehive Old Fashioned and loved them all.) It was easy to park and the space is wonderful, as well. So much space to sit and relax inside or outside with your party. The bar area has a relaxed but industrial feel and, again, wasn't the size of a match box like a lot of bars downtown. We had the best time and will definitely be back.“
“Great place with great atmosphere! The beer selection is pretty stellar and service is always good. The only downside is that it seems like on big game days the quality of the food goes down. Have had burnt pizza or underdone nachos on a couple of occasions, but I guess it comes with the crowds.“
“This place is suuuuper loud and you have to yell at each other to talk. All the arcade games are old and the music is also very loud... the place is very crowded. Vending machines are available and there's a random photo booth as well.“
“We love our Spitz location. It's a really fun atmosphere and always very clean. I often try different things from the menu and have yet to try something I didn't like. Everything I've had so far is fresh and super flavorful! I 100% recommend.“
“Had dinner here with some friends from work and was amazed at the quality, price, and taste of the food here. I've had a lot of hamburgers but the best one I've had is at Felt Bar & Eatery. It really is amazing gourmet food but in a very chill atmosphere at a fair price. I can't wait to go back.“
“We are back for another night of APA pool league and you know how I feel about the burger game here... it's solid... EASILY my favorite and I've been to some great spots... the did NOT disappoint! Very exceptional food again! The gent behind the bar must have walked 20,000 steps during the busy Wednesday night. Great music, good people and great service by this one man band with a kitchen crew of 2... Had a night cap with 6 buffet wings... hot, good meat, with blue cheese!?!? Dang!“
“Very interesting flavor combinations, ingredients, and great service. I would certainly dine there again if I were a local. I had the grilled elk loin and my dining partner had the braised SRF pork shank. We shared the blistered shishitos and crispy fresh duck rolls as appetizers. Also shared the olive oil cake and coconut panna cotta desserts. Enjoyed them all!“
“Had an amazing experience since I walked into London Belle. It is a hidden gem that more people should come in to discover! I really enjoyed the bone marrow with the chimichurri sauce, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Sammy was our server and she went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. She explained the menu thoroughly, made very good recommendations, was attentive, friendly, and overall super sweet. Recommending London Belle to all my friends, and you should too!“
“I live in the neighborhood and I've been going there just about every weekend for the past year and a half. Overall fan of the staff, atmosphere, beer selection (I'm a beer guy) and events going on there. Usually found 2 seats from the left.If I do start at Urban Lounge for a show, I go to Blue Gene's next door to conclude my night.“
“My friend and I were looking for somewhere with a patio to have a drink and an appetizer for what felt like the first warm day in a long time. The patio was perfect and the waiter offered and let me borrow their sunglasses as I had forgotten mine and was facing the setting sun. Thought that was above and beyond service and deserved to be mentioned! Thank you!“
“This is our go to when my husband and I go out for date night. All the workers are so nice, their drinks are always spot on. They're quick even when it's packed. And even their food is delicious. Although if I'm honest I've only had it after like 4 or 5 drinks so. Make of that what you will. ?? Totally recommend this place.“
“This is a great place and as many say a hidden gem. The ladies are very beautiful and absolutely great to chat with. Always very polite and well mannered and friendly. It is always a treat to meet any of them. Patrons can sometimes be a hit and miss, specially those who go to hang out and do not tip. These ladies really deserve better as they are probably the most beautiful leaving behind the ladies at places rated to be better - so it’s now up to you to make it even better. They serve all kinds of drinks and always your favorite beer. The entire staff is great and the food is great too - you won’t regret having a burger or their chicken tenders. Plenty of space and as opposed to most other places you can play pool and still watch the show. Just to name a few, do not miss Wendy, Blossom, Sake, Luna, Brooklyn, Lola, Ari, Lissie, Chanel, Blondie, Rae, Sammy and I’m sure I’m missing many more - you will find them at different times of the day, not like at other places where they reserve their best for prime time hours. I love the fact that they will also take requests and play your favorite songs. Be there or be square but more than anything else be a good customer because you will not be disappointed…and trust me, I know this place for decades….“
“Beehive is the first and original gin distillery in Utah. I love the ambiance and is a great place for meeting friends or family or both to get together. The bartenders have always been personable and not in a creepy way. I do prefer the clear distilled gin vs the barrel reserve which is a lot more musky. If you are a whiskey or bourbon person you should try the barrel reserve.“
“We had dinner and drinks here and were happy with the experience. For food, definitely try the birria tacos-- super duper yummy. We also had the honey walnut shrimp and it was quite enjoyable! For drinks, we had a variety of cocktails and were happy with all of them. We also went up to their rooftop area for a while and liked the views -- it was just a much smaller space up there so we were a little squished next to other groups. The service was good, but a little bit quirky. It's hard to explain, but it just seems like since they're still new, they're trying to figure out what they want to be (theme and ambiance wise) and that's totally fine. We would definitely go back again, and we want this business to do well.“
“Super friendly, bicycle themed, hipster bar, with great food (they smoke their own meats), and a plenty of craft beer options. Weekend brunch is available until 2pm.If you're not a meat eater, there is also an extensive vegetarian and vegan menu that includes faux meat versions of many entrees.Kid-friendliness: 21+ only, this is a licensed bar“
“The best garlic burger I’ve had. While the menu and burgers are simple, they are soo good! You’ll be back for more! They often have live music and fun outdoor seating with mood lighting, so the vibes are phenomenal.Parking: The parking lot is small, but sufficient for the business.“
“Jade is the most attentive bartender. Spot on with requests and definitely knows her ingredients. She always helpful with finding the right cocktail if needed and is super sweet and friendly when helping with drink choices. This is the original TWC and I love that it still exists. I wish this location had more days/hours of service, but I get it with the economy these days. I would definitely frequent more often if it offered more days of the week option.“
“The atmosphere and decor was really cool, but the table and the chairs we were sat at weren't comfortable for 6 people. Our waiter was very nice, when he ever came around, it took a long time in between drinks for him to return. Our food was good, but they missed one person's order, so their dish arrived when everyone else's were almost finished. The liquor selection is impressive, but my experience there was not. I'll try again for brunch, a lot of people have said that's a far better time to go.“
“Love this spot. Apps in particular are always good. Cocktails are delicious. Beer selection on point. However, the way they serve beer is disappointing, especially considering the care they clearly put into selecting imports and interesting beers to serve. Belgians, IPAs, Saison, etc are served in a Boston shaker pint glass. For such an elevated atmosphere and dining experience, I would expect them to use proper glassware to serve their brews.“
“Super fun place to go to have a drink and play some games. Games aren't as expensive as I thought (at another arcade they're like a dollar per game but many of these are only a quarter). Local artist sticker machine, prompt and tasty drinks, patio. Pacman, mario, galaga, mortal kombat, pinball, skeeball, basketball, etc. Had a good time.“
“The Tavernacle Social Club, SLC, located east of Ruth Chris steak house is the best dueling pianos I have ever seen. The talent is funny, interactive and extremely talented.Service was very slow. Atmosphere was nice until a bunch of 20 somethings came in and thought it was funny to pay to have the talent sing the most vulgar songs I’ve ever heard, and I’m no prude. Several tables walked out.The drinks were delicious. Good food.Idk if this has turned into a 20 something Club, but I will return to find out.You have to park in a pay parking terrace or parking lot across the street. Casual dress.“
“Love the food! Love the service! Love the prices! Love the vibe! Super low key. Well maintained, clean, and service is fast and friendly! Generally have some daily specials. Don't skip out on brunch. They have a great Bloody Mary! Love the patio! Can't gush enough about Crow.“
