“Service, and drinks are stellar, I love the crew and frequent this bar often, that being said the food is sub par but I don't expect good food from a small bar, and the jukebox is a wild card that can ruin the whole night, most of the time the music is rock, alt music, and some electronic fitting the Edgar Alan poe vibe, last Friday we went for a friends birthday and someone took over the jukebox and played COUNTRY for 2 HOURS STRAIGHT having other patrons and staff battle to try to get it to stop to no avail the country was blasting until we left :(
Overall I love the drinks great prices for them and the beer is always great“

“We celebrated my wife's birthday with a small group. I called a couple of weeks ahead of time to to reserve and the gentleman on the phone suggested a 6:45 table time for the 7:30 show. Unfortunately, he got it wrong and the show time had changed to 8:30 and our table had been promised to another party. The food was great, the service was good but sure wish we would have been able to see the show for her birthday. Conflicted with a good time with friends and family, great food, good drinks, but disappointment that we missed what Prohibition is really known for.“

“Best bar in SLC. Pool tables in great condition, staff is amazing (2 of them), and food and drinks are affordable and great quality. Great outdoor space. Good atmosphere and it’s hard not to have a good time here. Bree and the rest of the staff are great at what they do and they go out of the way to make sure you have a good time. Couldn’t be happier with the times I’ve spent here! Definitely recommend.“

“Reservations are probably a good idea; I'm not sure if needed on a typical night. For us it was a very busy night (games, Sundance, etc). But we were seated promptly as hotel guests which I really appreciated because the nearby options were limited for a late night bite after a long day of travel. The tuna tartare was really good (8/10)! The staff were welcoming and attentive.“

“2.5 stars The beer selection is amazing. The food is wonderful…however!, it will take more time than you’d think for service and food. We’ve given this place 4 tries, and while sitting at the bar is amazing for drinks, the table service and food is super slow so just set those expectations appropriately. This is a consistent experience, every time, which is a bummer with the service and food because the food is great! But even if you’re sitting at the bar, food service is *extremely* slow (40 minutes for an order of wings). It’s so unfortunate because otherwise, this place is a gem.“

The bar is on the smaller size but has outside seating & overall has a neighborhood vibe, making the bar perfectly named. “The atmosphere is beautiful and the live music-saxophone-player is was amazing, (and an unexpected surprise). The craft cocktails were delicious. The presentation of the food was beautiful and very good, however it was a bit pricey compared to the up scale bars and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, our bartender seems to be more interested in talking to the other staff, instead of paying attention to his customers. We had to wait to order drinks, we waited and waited to order food, and he had a really difficult time checking back to see if we needed more drinks. When the food arrived, the bartender had gotten our order wrong, but he was quick to correct it. The scallops, the fennel salad, the calamari, and the miso chicken were delicious. We did inquire about gluten-free options, but our bartender didn't seem to know what "gluten-free" was, and had nothing to suggest. It would be nice to have gluten-free indicated on the menu. (Also, the online menu was different from the in person menu. Not a big deal, but it should be updated.) Overall, we had a really nice experience and were very happy with our food and drink selections. We will be coming back with friends.“

“We arrived roughly at 9:30pm prior to the cover and had a great time winding down our evening at Sayonara. The bar staff were kind, attentive, and responsive. Quick to take your order and had bar staff coming to your table with drink service.

Of the course the vibes are some of the best in downtown SLC. We particularly enjoyed the bar back and pool room.“

“I want to give my review of Duces:
I went in on a Monday just this week; and I’ll tell ya, there are some good look’n girls here. There is a gall named Charlette whose sexy curves were absolutely hypnotic to watch, a tall lieth sexy blue eyed blond… (named Blondie, go figure), an adorably cute dancer named Sidney; HELL, even the bartender was better looking than most girls I have seen. (I believe the bartender’s name was Lilly)
But I must admit I am biased because my favorite was Smokey. Now Smokey used to be one of the top dancers at the old Sothern that closed on State Street. But WOW… I forgot how attractive that girl is! She was a 10 out of 10 favorite when I first saw her dance then, and I am glad she is now dancing at Duces. Stunning! She makes me forget anything sad.

“I attended a Day Party/Brunch yesterday (March 30th) and it was a very nice event, atmosphere, small rooftop area and hookah, nice tables! The DJs played a variety of genres, people socialized and danced. Awesome servers and bartenders. My server, Jacob Meadows, provided excellent service and he was very friendly and personable. I like how there is a food hall directly next door, connected to The Drift Lounge. I highly recommend Taste of Louisiana!“

“Stayed in the Marriott for a weekend on my first trip to SLC for a convention. This bar was the highlight of it. Troy, Kelly, and Breno were fantastic. They made us feel so welcome, their energy was unmatched. Not to mention the awesome service and drinks. Great company, great people and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Cheers!“
