It was decent food. Not superb but not lacking. I think the atmosphere was great. Not a place to hold a private conversation. Drinks were tasty. It was above mist hotel lounges for sure.I ordered chocolate cake to go and I am so glad I did!
This place is such a hidden gem... to the extent we had no idea it existed until we were tipped off! When the bar at the Laurel was overcrowded with nowhere to sit (and you can't take drinks back to your room because Utah), the bartender recommended checking out the Gibson. I am SO glad we did. From the moment we walked in (and it was blissfully quiet and empty), it felt like we had stumbled into a private club or something. We only went for drinks and the servers were patient, fun, and knowledgeable of the menu. The drinks were unique and great! Prices were a bit up there but honestly worth it for the quality and experience.
