Restaurantji's North Salt Lake guide: Where to find the ultimate Mexican flavors.
“Great! Called a head, had my order ready. The tacos come with just the meet, but then you can pick up veggies bags for free to add to the Tacos, along with some good salsa. It is a little hard to see from the road, but googles got their location down.“
“In a sea of bland Utah Mexi food. This place is a beacon of flavor! They offer reasonably priced lunch specials. I got the Chile relleno with carnitas. Delicious! I normally get the Enchiladas Suizas, with which one can not go wrong. Their chips are fresh, and their salsa is flavorful, with plenty of spice. Do yourself a favor. Get into Nacho House...soon!!“
“T.L.D.R. Great food and toppings, amazing portions, and good prices and service. While this taco stand is small it packs a punch.I would advise that you speak some Spanish before ordering as the lady running it does not speak English, however she understands enough that you could easily order as long as you are too the point.Cash and Credit are both accepted. Now to the point: These dishes are really something else. The seasoning is perfect on all of the meats we tried (which were carnitas ( very juicy pork), asada (steak), leguna (tongue), cabeza (head), tripe, and stomach), and they were all very juicy, crispy in the case of the tripe, which, along with the also usually chewy tongue was extremely tender. We tried the tacos and a burrito, the topping on the burrito included beans, rice, guacamole, and more and were free with the meal, and also optional if that’s not what you like. The tacos are a perfect size for ordering 2 or 3, and while the price on the other dishes might look high the portions are enormous and we still had half the burrito left after finishing our meal.On top of the amazing food there is quite the selection of (again, free) topping to go with it. Small cups and lids are provided for the selection which includes: Diced onions, sliced pickled onions, pico de gallo, lime slices, cilantro, and 3 sauces. We tried the tomatillo and the orange medium sauce, both of which were delicious on the food. There is a third darker red sauce which is most likely spicy and maybe smoky judging by its look. While this place looks small, whenever I see it again I will definitely stop for a bite.“
“We stopped by after going g to the Farmington Bay area to look for Eagles and see the DWR Presentation on Eagles. Food was excellent and hot. Service was typical of most fast food restraunts. Good seating areas. My daughter and granddaughterare vegatarians and found options for them. Easy parking and access for aii.“

“I come here so much and I am such a tard for not leaving a review sooner. First of all the employees are mad cool! There's one in particular that knows what I want just by hearing my voice. The employees here are always cracking jokes with me, will it be at the register or the drive thru. Not to mention how much effort they put into my food. Just look at how good this looks!? because of this I'll always pay my respects when I come here. Along with my food“
“This place lived up to its expectations! This is a very different Mexican restaurant compared to others. The waitress helped us to choose vegetarian option from their large menu and also recommended mole sauce according to our dietary preferences! We would definitely visit again!“
“Been coming here for years and the food has never disappointed. I’ve recently found my dish to be the smothered Chicken Chimichangas (which I 100% recommend). The Mole Sample, Chips & Guacamole are always at the table for appetizers. Other dishes always at the table are their Enchilada Susas and Mango Mole Enchiladas.Atmosphere is great. They have bar area the is more for groups of 3-4, and they have a larger area that seats 10+. Staff are always pleasant and have never had any complaints.Always look forward to going to Red Iguana and highly recommend going if you haven’t.“
“Very delicious, natural fresh waters, the tamales are good but a little dry, I ordered a huarache of chorizo and half of huitlacoche, only the huitlacoche was not good, it was overcooked, and I didn't like that they use canned corn and it doesn't give you a good flavor, very exaggerated onion.“
“Best tacos in the area. I ordered both the steak and spicy pork tacos, really well seasoned and always made fresh. Their aguas frescas are also a major selling point. The watermelon and mango flavored ones were delicious. The place is fairly small, with 4 or 5 picnic-like tables for seating. No AC so it is usually a little warm inside. Kept pretty clean. The few times I've ordered from there was in person. It does seem like they take orders over the phone though. Normally my wait for the food was around 15 to 20 min. On Tuesdays they have reduced pricing on tacos which is an even better value than their already well priced menu.I would recommend it if in the area.“
