I went during lunch time and overall, the food and experience was amazing! Meats and sides were delicious, staff was very kind, friendly, and informative. The parchment paper on the grill is very smart so the grill doesn't burn, I think it would be smart to also do the same at the Orem Location to avoid the grill burning so fast.I would say to get your money's worth, come starving. Compared to what else we could find or try in SLC, the good here pretty decent. But compared to what you can get in California or New York this food is 3/5. Especially with how poor the side dishes/banchan are (see photo).The service was only ok. Worst part was how SMOKY and hot the place got. They have really poor ventilation. Ombu Grill is quite a unique eatery.Why? Because you cook your meat.You choose different meats from the menu and you cook them in front of you.The menu is wide in terms of meats to choose from.I liked their pork fried rice,it’s so delicious.One thing they can improve on is the service.The waiter that served us was kind of hurrying us because of closing time.All in all the experience is great
