This is some of the best chinese food you can get in Salt Lake City! The beef and green beans with black bean sauce is so so so good! Love this place!
I have been eating here for probably 10-20 years. It would fit right into the dive category for DDD. It is not much to look at, the interior is small with limited seating that looks about that old. That said, they have been cranking out awesome Chinese food the whole time. Like any restaurant it has waxed and waned, but it is definitely on the upswing right now. Little World Chinese Restaurant is an underrated hole in the wall Chinese joint. The faded menu pictures, newspaper clippings, and awards tell everything about this place. Food is hot and fast and delicious. Service is friendly and courteous. The food is great but not great dine in, and it is usually good for take out. Specific meals include ponpon chicken, walnut shrimp, beef and broccoli, sechwan beef, orange chicken, and flat noodle with beef. The food is super authentic and cheap, with large portions. A true hidden gem. Service is super fast. Unfortunately, the inside is not what it used to be, and the location is not ideal. The restroom is located outside. Parking is behind and on the side of the building. Customers will stick with take out.
