Oh Mai Vietnamese Kitchen South State is a good choice for delicious Vietnamese cuisine. The restaurant offers banh mi sandwiches and pho. The honey glazed pork, spiced chicken, and curry banh mi are delicious, fresh, and each flavor is amazing. The spicy garlic ribeye sandwich and the 3 meat Pho are super fabulous and the best in the state. The sweet honey pork banh mi is delicious, and the pho broth flavor is perfect for a cold day. The venue is pretty cute, bright, florally, and pretty, with nice wall decor, plants, and unique tables. The service is great, and the place is clean. However, parking is kind of a joke here, with only 3 spots in the back. The bread for the sandwich was not recently baked and not fresh, and some of the glazed pork was dry and hard, while some was tender and moist. The wait for service was annoying, as one lady was left to make all the sandwiches during lunch rush hour. The sandwich was good but had some inconsistencies. Overall, it is a must try for this Vietnamese treat, but today's visit was not enough for some to want to come back anytime soon.
