“Wanted some tahini to make hummus for a party and also some authentic pita bread. Googled med market near me so stopped in. Found the tahini and then Walked around the store for a sec and a gentleman asked what I needed. I told him pita and he went in the back and brought out fresh warm fluffy pita! Delicious! Nothing like the grocery store stuff. After reading the other comments sounds like I need to return for some baklava!“

“The baklava is decent. They have a bunch of snacks, spices, and drinks around the store and I think they may have had fresh baked goods aside from the baklava, but we got here closer to the end of the day so I think they ran out. The only thing I wish they could do would be to post the prices of things. It was hard to make a decision on items to buy because we weren't sure how much they cost.

There isn't a parking lot here but the street parking on the side street is pretty wide open.“

“Someone brought these to a Halloween party and I had to have two. They are twice as big and twice as good as krispy kream (our prior favorite). I will definitely buy some next time I am in the area. They remind me of the spudnuts we used to get many years ago. Be careful. They are addictive!“

“Ordered through DoorDash. I was craving for Ube and wanted to try their donut with ube filling. I’m filipino and I grew up eating ube, the filling did taste a little bit like ube. What I appreciate most is that they are not stingy with their fillings. I also noticed that with the red bean donut. Didn’t care for the matcha brownie and strawberry croissant but the donuts are good ! 👍🏻“

“I am late to the game on this one. They started as a sweets maker and I didn’t realize that had become a full blown restaurant with a fantastic and varied menu. I had the chicken ranch sandwich but we had a group of 12 of us and everyone was thrilled with their food. Raves about the grilled cheese. Well done!!!“

“Forty-Three Bakery has the most amazing pastries and desserts and delicious breakfast too. My lemon poppyseed scone had the perfect crunch. My vanilla latte and my husband’s chocolate London Fog were perfect to the last drop. Need to find out the secret for the yummy eggs too. Such a wonderful Sunday brunch treat. The chocolate, rosemary, and huckleberry pinecone is my favorite chocolate dessert ever. It’s like cracking open a delicious Easter egg when your fork cracks open the delicate chocolate shell. The best customer service too. Got some treats to go for work tomorrow!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“This is going to be a long review. When you first walk in you are met with a delicious aroma of fresh bread, and pastries. The staff beats you with such sincerity that you feel like your family. I had called to put in a large catering order Tuesday afternoon right before closing; Wednesday was a holiday and I needed it by Thursday morning. They had everything boxed up ready to go…. Only for me to realize the coolers I bought were not big enough for a box. They offered to repackage everything into smaller boxes. The smaller boxes worked perfectly. While I waited I ordered the Turkey, avocado, bacon sandwich. I can honestly say that was the best turkey avocado, bacon sandwich I have ever eaten. As I write this, I am thinking of how delicious that sandwich was and trying to convince myself that a 50 mile drive for a sandwich is a bit much. The turkey was a thicker cut, juicy, flavorful, and it had that Thanksgiving roasted flavor to it. The bacon Cooked perfectly, not too crisp so you don’t chip a tooth , and not underdone where it is chewy. The avocado was fresh, and it was ripened to the perfect stage. The sandwich also contained some lettuce, and a dressing, which was delicious. All of this delectable goodness placed on fresh bread. The bread had a perfect crunchy outer crust While the inside was soft. The bread itself had an amazing flavor to it with all the seeds and nuts in it made a perfect sandwich. I will write a follow up after the party tonight. It will include photos.“

“Ordered my first order from Mrs. Hewitt’s and I’m blown away. Far and away the BEST gluten free bread I’ve had since my Celiac diagnosis almost 20 years ago. And to top it off just amazing customer service. UPS damaged my box during shipping which coincidentally destroyed a loaf of bread. I emailed customer service and within minutes they responded to issue a refund for the damaged loaf. Delightful experience all around with Mrs. Hewitt’s.“

“Carol’s is a favorite of mine and has been since my early days of visiting my Grandparents in Sugarhouse. My grandpa would take me for ice cream and then we’d go to Carol’s for the yummiest eclairs on the planet. He was always friends with everyone and the owners of this place were no exception. “Gluten free not by choice and always ecstatic to find a safe gluten free bakery. I got the cinnamon bread, cinnamon muffin and cinnamon roll. All were delicious so the next day I went back for another muffin and roll. It has been nothing but delicious food and great, positive vibes from the woman who has helped me both days. I felt very welcome here (especially being from out of town) and did not get sick due to their strict enforcement of no cross contamination.“

“ordered cookies here for the first time and was really happy with everything. I have vasovagal syncope so it's hard for me to go into places that doesnt have cool air or places to sit. I called ahead and asked them if i could place an order and use my giftcard . the employee was so nice and walked back and forth to my car for my order and payment. no complaints and she was smiling. cookies were all amazing. I got one of each and cant pick a favorite cause I loved all of them. I will definitely keep coming to this location and order again in the future. thank you for being aweosme and the best part, smiling... it's always good to see smiling employees!“

“We made the mistake of going into the store after dinner, a lot of the selections were already sold out. The cashier let us know that we could wait 20 minutes and get our choice. We decided to do that. Walked around the nearby shops and got a Starbucks coffee and the our Bundtettes were ready. You can’t go wrong getting a tasty Bundt cake, all flavors are so good.“

“Came here for coffee and a light breakfast. I got the toast of the day, beet hummus and ricotta and my friend got the sandwich of the day, ham and cheese. The toast was good but was pretty expensive at $9. The sandwich was a better deal at $12 and was quite tasty but it had really fibrous, inedible pieces of fennel in it which you had to pick out. I also got a couple pastries and a sourdough loaf to-go. The pain au chocolate was $9 but was ridiculously good, so flaky and buttery! Worth it as a special treat. The food was good but didn't seem worth the price, I think the move for table x bread is going for the freshly baked pastries and breads instead of ordering the toasts/sandwiches. Their bread is so good, crispy and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside, highly recommend the sourdough. The drip coffee was also worth it, very flavorful and reasonably priced. If you plan to eat here, be mindful that there are only 3 indoor seats (there are several small tables outside).“
