“Someone brought these to a Halloween party and I had to have two. They are twice as big and twice as good as krispy kream (our prior favorite). I will definitely buy some next time I am in the area. They remind me of the spudnuts we used to get many years ago. Be careful. They are addictive!“

“Probably my favorite asian bakery in the state. The pastries are taiwanese pastries. They are light, delicious and not over sweet. My favorite is the taro sweet bread, the chocolate one and the Hokkaido cream. Would have been a 5 stars if the bread was always made the day of. The taro bread i got a couple times tasted like they were from the day before. They were still good but a bit dry.
They alao have drinks and cakes too. They have a few tables that you could sit at to eat your bread.
I would go back any day as it's still delicious. Bread is cheaper than most Asian bakeries.“

When you need a bit of kindness and someone goes above and beyond. What an amazing store and true to its namesake. They go above and beyond and I'm so happy to have found a place where I can find of homemade bread and sweets from my homeland.“

“Wanted some tahini to make hummus for a party and also some authentic pita bread. Googled med market near me so stopped in. Found the tahini and then Walked around the store for a sec and a gentleman asked what I needed. I told him pita and he went in the back and brought out fresh warm fluffy pita! Delicious! Nothing like the grocery store stuff. After reading the other comments sounds like I need to return for some baklava!“

“This place is so cute and clean! I loved how there was a combination of French and Asian inspired treats, with some interesting mashups of the two (like a kimchi croquette!). The honeydew sweet bread was perfect. The French pastries (croissant and pain au chocolat) were okay, but it’s hard to do those justice. I’ll probably stick to the Asian-inspired goodies moving forward.

The girl working the counter was so sweet and helpful when I had questions about some of the goods.

“The baklava is decent. They have a bunch of snacks, spices, and drinks around the store and I think they may have had fresh baked goods aside from the baklava, but we got here closer to the end of the day so I think they ran out. The only thing I wish they could do would be to post the prices of things. It was hard to make a decision on items to buy because we weren't sure how much they cost.

There isn't a parking lot here but the street parking on the side street is pretty wide open.“

“Fun, small, little Bistro and take out atmosphere. Excellent food with more choices than expected, at super reasonable prices. Some of these specialty places charge exorbitant prices, but not here. I had a tasty Cuban Sandwich and a feed-you-three-times cinnamon roll for under $15. Lovely staff. I was there with a vegan diet friend, but don't let that stop you. I'm not vegan diet oriented, but thoroughly enjoyed it.“

My vanilla latte and my husband’s chocolate London Fog were perfect to the last drop. Need to find out the secret for the yummy eggs too. Such a wonderful Sunday brunch treat. The chocolate, rosemary, and huckleberry pinecone is my favorite chocolate dessert ever. It’s like cracking open a delicious Easter egg when your fork cracks open the delicate chocolate shell. “This is going to be a long review. When you first walk in you are met with a delicious aroma of fresh bread, and pastries. The staff beats you with such sincerity that you feel like your family. I had called to put in a large catering order Tuesday afternoon right before closing; Wednesday was a holiday and I needed it by Thursday morning. They had everything boxed up ready to go…. Only for me to realize the coolers I bought were not big enough for a box. They offered to repackage everything into smaller boxes. The smaller boxes worked perfectly. While I waited I ordered the Turkey, avocado, bacon sandwich. I can honestly say that was the best turkey avocado, bacon sandwich I have ever eaten. As I write this, I am thinking of how delicious that sandwich was and trying to convince myself that a 50 mile drive for a sandwich is a bit much. The turkey was a thicker cut, juicy, flavorful, and it had that Thanksgiving roasted flavor to it. The bacon Cooked perfectly, not too crisp so you don’t chip a tooth , and not underdone where it is chewy. The avocado was fresh, and it was ripened to the perfect stage. The sandwich also contained some lettuce, and a dressing, which was delicious. All of this delectable goodness placed on fresh bread. The bread had a perfect crunchy outer crust While the inside was soft. The bread itself had an amazing flavor to it with all the seeds and nuts in it made a perfect sandwich. I will write a follow up after the party tonight. It will include photos.“

“Mrs Hewitts was always my number one bread choice but the addition of the bakery has been amazing! Yesterday I had the smothered Chili Verde Burrito and it was divine. We have tried the crepes, sandwiches and many of the baked treats. Everything has been delicious, the hand pies have become a family favorite. The staff are welcoming and kind and everything is clean and inviting. Keep up the amazing work!“

My grandpa would take me for ice cream and then we’d go to Carol’s for the yummiest eclairs on the planet. He was always friends with everyone and the owners of this place were no exception. “If you live near Salt Lake City and you like Thai food, you should get your butt over to Hart Yai Thai Express in Murray. Their Pad Thai and their basic fried rice are probably the best I've had. I also tried their low sweet Thai Iced Tea today and it was fabulous.

It's only the second time we've had food from there, but everything everybody ordered was amazing. It's super fresh and super yummy. It's now our favorite Thai food restaurant.

“I discovered Leslie Pastries through the Too Good To Go app because I wanted to try something different, and honestly, what a great surprise!

The place is absolutely charming, and the pastry display is beautiful — so many cakes and pastries that look incredible. Even before trying what I picked up, I was already thinking, “Next time I’m coming back to actually choose something from this display!” 😂

The woman who helped me was super friendly, and everything I received through Too Good To Go was delicious. One of the pastries was this amazing combination of cinnamon, chocolate, and almonds — kind of like a flattened cinnamon roll, but with its own thing going on. Seriously delicious. Another one had orange and was also fantastic.

It was a great experience from beginning to end. Beautiful place, friendly service, and really good pastries.

“Gluten free not by choice and always ecstatic to find a safe gluten free bakery. I got the cinnamon bread, cinnamon muffin and cinnamon roll. All were delicious so the next day I went back for another muffin and roll. It has been nothing but delicious food and great, positive vibes from the woman who has helped me both days. I felt very welcome here (especially being from out of town) and did not get sick due to their strict enforcement of no cross contamination.“

“OMG... if you haven’t tried this bakery, and you love French Baked Goods, V&R is a MUST!!! They bake authentic French breads and pastries... which I’ve been searching for and hadn’t found until now! Their croissants are flaky outside and moist inside, and their orange chocolate rolls are to die for with its tangy sweet glaze over a melt in your mouth pastry, and their raspberry tart is truly amazing, especially the mascarpone filling... beautifully crafted.
