“We used to have a Marie Callenders in Layton. That got closed down and turned into an Indian restaurant. When I was driving down the street in SLC and saw this one, I stopped immediately and had lunch. Super tasty and just a great feeling when you're eating there. The ultimate comfort food.“

“This is going to be a long review. When you first walk in you are met with a delicious aroma of fresh bread, and pastries. The staff beats you with such sincerity that you feel like your family. I had called to put in a large catering order Tuesday afternoon right before closing; Wednesday was a holiday and I needed it by Thursday morning. They had everything boxed up ready to go…. Only for me to realize the coolers I bought were not big enough for a box. They offered to repackage everything into smaller boxes. The smaller boxes worked perfectly. While I waited I ordered the Turkey, avocado, bacon sandwich. I can honestly say that was the best turkey avocado, bacon sandwich I have ever eaten. As I write this, I am thinking of how delicious that sandwich was and trying to convince myself that a 50 mile drive for a sandwich is a bit much. The turkey was a thicker cut, juicy, flavorful, and it had that Thanksgiving roasted flavor to it. The bacon Cooked perfectly, not too crisp so you don’t chip a tooth , and not underdone where it is chewy. The avocado was fresh, and it was ripened to the perfect stage. The sandwich also contained some lettuce, and a dressing, which was delicious. All of this delectable goodness placed on fresh bread. The bread had a perfect crunchy outer crust While the inside was soft. The bread itself had an amazing flavor to it with all the seeds and nuts in it made a perfect sandwich. I will write a follow up after the party tonight. It will include photos.“

The chocolate, rosemary, and huckleberry pinecone is my favorite chocolate dessert ever. It’s like cracking open a delicious Easter egg when your fork cracks open the delicate chocolate shell. The price also fair compare to other Thai restaurant. I recommend coming in around 3pm because there would be less people.“

They have changed everything in the last year. I bought 2 cakes for Christmas. They didnt give me the multi layer cakes i ordered. I asked for poinsettas, there were none. The flowers were peach colored smashed flowers. I wish they would go back in time when they new how to bake. I have a picture of the chocolate cake to post.

“Gluten free not by choice and always ecstatic to find a safe gluten free bakery. I got the cinnamon bread, cinnamon muffin and cinnamon roll. All were delicious so the next day I went back for another muffin and roll. It has been nothing but delicious food and great, positive vibes from the woman who has helped me both days. “The B.L.E.T sandwich has a sweet mustard on it, which wasn’t a pleasant addition to the sandwich. The produce on the sandwich doesn’t seem very fresh and there wasn’t much protein on the sandwich. Otherwise, the texture, flavor and quality was good. The pastries are so beautiful. The staff is kind and professional, and the decor is gorgeous. Overall, seems like a very nice place.“

“ordered cookies here for the first time and was really happy with everything. I have vasovagal syncope so it's hard for me to go into places that doesnt have cool air or places to sit. I called ahead and asked them if i could place an order and use my giftcard . the employee was so nice and walked back and forth to my car for my order and payment. no complaints and she was smiling. cookies were all amazing. I got one of each and cant pick a favorite cause I loved all of them. “We made the mistake of going into the store after dinner, a lot of the selections were already sold out. The cashier let us know that we could wait 20 minutes and get our choice. We decided to do that. Walked around the nearby shops and got a Starbucks coffee and the our Bundtettes were ready. You can’t go wrong getting a tasty Bundt cake, all flavors are so good.“

“Came here for coffee and a light breakfast. I got the toast of the day, beet hummus and ricotta and my friend got the sandwich of the day, ham and cheese. The toast was good but was pretty expensive at $9. The sandwich was a better deal at $12 and was quite tasty but it had really fibrous, inedible pieces of fennel in it which you had to pick out. I also got a couple pastries and a sourdough loaf to-go. The pain au chocolate was $9 but was ridiculously good, so flaky and buttery! Worth it as a special treat. The food was good but didn't seem worth the price, I think the move for table x bread is going for the freshly baked pastries and breads instead of ordering the toasts/sandwiches. Their bread is so good, crispy and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside, highly recommend the sourdough. The drip coffee was also worth it, very flavorful and reasonably priced. If you plan to eat here, be mindful that there are only 3 indoor seats (there are several small tables outside).“

“Someone brought these to a Halloween party and I had to have two. They are twice as big and twice as good as krispy kream (our prior favorite). I will definitely buy some next time I am in the area. They remind me of the spudnuts we used to get many years ago. Be careful. They are addictive!“
