“I've know this long time ago and haven't been here for years. We saw this and decided to dropped by. Few selections on display this time but quality is still as good as I remember from years ago. I wish they serve coffee though, would be perfect with cupcakes. The atmosphere is a bit sad/dark though this time not like the first few years when they first started which was bright and lively.“
“Beaumont is close to my house so we frequent here often. I typically get an açaí bowl but have noticed that some of the fruit tastes like garlic. They need to have cutting boards dedicated to fruit only. It would be nice if they had at least one GF pastry option. Other than that I love the food. Service seems to be hit and miss. Everyone is very friendly but it seems as though things are pretty slow and people are standing around. I will be a continuing customer. Especially because my boys love the ham and cheese croissants!“
“Go there for the bread, pastries, desserts, and cakes. Victor does great bread. I like the sourdough. Rebecca's flan is to die for. Love all the fruit Danish and fruit desserts. Go soon. Closing the retail store 31 Dec.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access“
“I only went to, but those delicious banana pies they sell. I honestly did not eat there, so i can not really give my opinion on the food or full customer service..Parking: Parking close to facility entrance.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to climb.“
“I have followed this place from Denver (my daughter lives in Salt Lake). Finally got to go today. They have samples!!! I was so impressed how friendly and knowledgeable the employee was. She described tastes and made suggestions. It was so much fun trying and bringing home 6 cookies. The oatmeal with cherries and apricots was like an amazing breakfast bar. They were all delicious. The best cookies I've ever had!“
“I love the cozy charm and delight in both the ambiance and the food! Baklava custard as well as moon milk in so many variations! And, of course, a classic Turkish coffee is a must! I like the fun flavored sugars and spices to add. Explore all three floors and various secret nooks each time you go back!“
“Best donuts of SLC!!! Service is very nice, quality of donuts are insane! Always fresh and delicious. Atmosphere is chaotic… very small restaurant, people are always crowded and desperate to go in and out. But it’s worth it because they are the best on what they do??“
“The hot honey sandos are great value and delicious. I also enjoyed a nice London fog. The few sweet pastries I’ve tried were just ok, even though they had sweet filling, the dough parts were too salty for my preference.I do think the croissants donuts are great and I’ve had some yummy shortbread cookies from this business before. The place has great natural lighting and friendly atmosphere. There’s a neat sitting area that could be cool for hosting small gatherings.Overall, I wish them success and I’d return to try other brunch offerings.“
“I'm not vegan but I went to a dinner and silent auction 4/13 for True Hearts foHealing Paws and let me tell you, the food was AMAZING! Chef Fee has the funnest personality and her cake was out of this world too! My husband and I will be frequenting! Way to go Chef Fee and Co!“
“Been going to 85deg bakery for years when I lived in other cities. The prices have definitely gone up which makes it hard to keep coming back. Prices for thier buns at this SLC location are more expensive than the California and Nevada locations.“
“Cute place it is pricy but the filled Doughnut are pretty big. I recommend that you share them they are very big and sweet! Also the drinks come in 1 size I would also share this. The custom cake orders are amazing and I also get complements and questions every time I bring this cake around.“
“You have to try their stuffed French Toast. I am still dreaming about the lemon cream cheese filling. It only had a hint of lemon, but a whole lotta good everything else. The blueberry compote was delicious. It was super busy and I can see why. I can't wait to take my son who lived in Paris back to see what he thinks.“
“This place easily has the best Mexican pastries in Salt Lake City and even Utah. Their concha’s and tres leches are to die for! Whatever you get, you know it’ll be amazing. The family that owns it are also so kind and attentive. I can’t recommend this place enough!“
“Great pies. I went on pi day. I ordered the three small pies, after asking if they had the special Rocky Road pie and I was told no I picked three different ones. Then they found out that they had some of the rocky road pie and I had already paid by then. I told them no problem I'll get it the next time the gentleman that was working there had the young lady at the cash register give it to me at no charge. Great customer service and yummy pies. I will definitely be back.“
“This is one of my absolute favorite dessert stops in SLC. The desserts are cute and obviously delicious! It’s always a tough choice picking what I want, but they do offer samples so that helps in the decision. The staff is always kind and helpful.Parking: There’s ton of free parking in the back which is helpful because doki doki is located in a busy traffic area.“
“Stopped by on or way to the Utes ? game got a few various flavors each and enjoyed the BEST Kolaches in Utah on the drive up to campus. Can’t think of a better grab and go brunch! Flavor is amazing very fullfilling and hits the spot! ???? Oh and don’t worry that line out the door moves quickly they had us in/out in 6mins flat ?????“
“Great little shop tucked in on State Street. Great selection for breakfast pastries. Huge portions! Great service--happy employees. Biggest drawback is the lack of parking because right in front of them is a bus stop, next to a construction site. But worth the risk of a parking ticket!!“
“Callie is so talented. Her macarons and the best macarons I’ve ever had. They flavors are so good and unique, and the texture is always on point.I also ordered a birthday cake for my sister’s birthday and it was so pretty and delicious.“
“This small shop is reminiscent of the popular Portos in So Cal. My favorite was the churro dulce croissant. I'm not big on cheesecake, but the passion key lime cheesecake did not disappoint. Just wish the croissant was more delicate and less dry. I think a more inviting dine-in atmosphere would be a game changer for F&E, but overall I was satisfied and plan to return occasionally.“
“I didn't know cake could taste so good. It's worth buying, especially for those extra special occasions. The customer service was also above and beyond. Thank you for making my families party so much better!2nd time here for another cake and was given sample pastery and it was otherworldly good. I don't know how I'm supposed to live my life trying to resist the urge to eat here everyday...thank you! I'm over the moon!“
“Food and service were both amazing! This will be a favorite of ours from now on. We wish there was space for indoor seating, but the outdoor seating will be nice in warmer weather. Excellent selection of sweet and savory Kolaches. Drip coffee and creamer is a nice convenience as well. Open at 6:30am and baking stops at 11am.“
“Loved this place! My boyfriend has celiac, so it's hard to find desserts he can eat-- especially ones that don't have a cross-contamination risk. Luckily we found this place not too far from us! The staff was so friendly and the bakery was so clean. We loved it!“
“Very cute little place with very yummy pie options!! We went here on Pi Day and it was decorated with balloons and banners to celebrate 3.14. We opted to have ours warmed and they were amazing. I will forewarn that the traditional size pie is pretty small - after finishing them you're left saying "that's all??" They're definitely worth a stop by, but I'd encourage getting one of the large sized options so you don't leave with the munchies :)“
“This was such a fun shop to visit. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by displays of yummy breads, desserts, and even soup mixes. There is a small indoor eating area where you can order delicious sandwiches. They also have samples of different breads and desserts. The employees were all very nice, helpful, and friendly. I will definitely be going back.“
“This store has the best cloud cake, sandwiches pastries, there HUGE crescent roll cake thing.. yummy, my niece had a tray full of yummiest food. All of us got different food and shared. The blueberry cream cheese was to die for. Everyone else loved the strawberry crescent roll. I didn't try it. I am allergic to strawberries. I would go back sometime.“
“Overall a great spot to grab a quick bagel! Mostly street parking, with a few indoor tables and an outdoor patio. The shop is attached to a record store so you can shop around while waiting for your bagel. I do wish they had other cheese options for the bagels, but overall I really enjoyed the fluffy dense bagels and the eggs were fluffy and filling. Would definitely stop back in for another sometime!“
“I found Gourmandise while searching for a gluten free bakery in downtown Salt Lake City. To my pleasant surprise, they also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although they aren't a dedicated gluten free facility and there is risk of cross contamination, the waitress took the time to confirm that my food choices would not contain gluten, soy, or beef. I had the grilled salmon and it was delicious! The buerre blanc sauce was silky smooth and had just the right blend of flavors. For dessert, there were several gluten free options and I selected the flourless chocolate cake. It was very rich and satisfied my sweet tooth! I'll likely try an additional dessert or two before I leave town. I would definitely eat here again!Dietary restrictions: They have several menus online for dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan). I had many gluten free options from which to choose, although some had a high risk of cross contamination due to the fryer. They also have gluten free bread which can be used for sandwiches. The waitress took my allergies seriously and verified ingredients and cooking procedures with the chef to ensure I had a good experience. She also cautioned me about possible cross contamination from my food being in the same oven with glutinous bread. I appreciated her transparency and effort.“
“Go here all the time for my wife and girls. The owner is super kind, friendly and appreciative. He always strikes up a friendly conversation with me. I stop here regularly on the way home from work to surprise the wife and girls. I would highly recommend going in. I really like going down in the wintertime it’s cozy and since they bake constantly the windows are fogged up when it’s cold, makes for a fun atmosphere!“
“I came in after a karate seminar a couple of weeks ago. I had been meaning to since I saw that they had opened awhile back, since I get to evening classes and feel hungry beforehand. Of course our karate master owns this building too, so I love supporting those businesses as well. There's a bakery area for to go orders and ordering, and a dine in side to sit down and eat, as well as chat with friends. I tried a chicken puff pastry and the Pan Queso y Bocadillo (so I had some protein and savory, and some sweet). The staff was super nice and answered all my questions patiently, while offering suggestions. The bakery was relatively quiet with just a few tables seated for lunch. A few more people came in while I was ordering. I hope they do well and stay around, so I have a yummy place to visit when I'm hungry during karate.“
“If you live within a 3-5 mile radius of this establishment, how great shall be your joy. I don't know that it's worthy of trekking from Provo for but it's pretty damn good. I don't care for the shopping experience at the Sandy Mall. The reality is, goodness is where it's found and Sandy Mall be damned, this place is something special!“
“My coworker treated me to vosen today, I had never been. The sandwich I had was pretty good, I’d order it again!! I had their ice chai, it was my first time having it and was pleasantly surprised. They also gave us fresh rolls while waiting. It’s not a big space but large parties at a time“
“We visit SLC several times a year, and this was the first time Darla's was on our radar. There are many excellent donut and desert options in SLC, but Darla's wins our vote for best donuts! We sampled nearly 2 dozen, including the fritter, and they were all delicious. There is no store front, just the drive through. Not sure what to get? Ask them to see their menu and they flash a tray full of the days tasty options! Excellent service as well. Definitely recommend you make the trip to them out.“
“Love this place, they have the best cookies in the Utah valley! Especially now that they have the cookie bars, my favorite is the better than sex chip cookie. Amira and Amanda were there working and were super awesome, great service and made them quick and delicious. 10/10“
“I really enjoy stopping by Millcreek. Their coffee is really great and I appreciate the friendly staff. It’s really interesting to see the roasting happening, which also creates some nice white noise in the background. The tall ceilings, spread out tables, and natural light make it a very nice atmosphere it get work done.“
“Cute bakery and cafe with an amazing selection of delicious food. The grilled cheese sandwich is taken from everyday to extraordinary with the additional of apricot! The Nutella éclair filled with hazelnut praline and glazed with chocolate butter cream filling, and the wonderfully delicious and unique tiramisu, are both absolutely fantastic. But an entire case of delicious looking options are available. Wash it down with the Dix Signature Chai! Made in-house, it's a perfect blend of spices among the best I've had locally.“
“Love, love, love this place for lattes and a breakfast. My fave is they’re made from scratch meatless puff but they didn’t have any at the moment. So we took a chance with their avocado toast. It is the best I’ve had. Now I have two favorites for breakfast here. I also order their cakes for our family’s birthdays and those are phenomenal.“
“Can't say enough about Momo's cheesecake, unfortunately I can't say the same for the service. Each time I have come to the SLC location, the moment you walk in the atmosphere is very unwelcoming and while being helped by the female employee I'm treated as an inconvenience as though I'm disturbing her. I have now contemplated just ordering door dash pickup.“
“loved cupla. it's in a nice part of the city and the food is great. didn't read on the menu that the 16oz comes with 4 shots so my latte was a little more bitter than i like but that's my fault. great experience! music was a little loud tho“
“I found the staff to be very welcoming and friendly, with good suggestions on the fare. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity (or the calories, really) to spring for a doughnut but after trying the pasties, I will certainly be back; the pasty itself was well sealed, very well filled (the ratio of bread to filling is good), and the bread itself is quite good. I enjoyed having the outer 'crust' as a thicker piece so that I could munch on it on its own before I dove into the thing proper. The filling was flavorful and savory, certainly hit the spot. I ordered two thinking I could eat them both, I was wrong; they are heavy and filling! Very much like seeing this kind of thing coming up more in SLC and I hope to return soon.“
“We went in the day before Easter. The staff were super friendly and made up a big batch of a dozen cookies right on the spot. The iced and filled cookies are done at the time of ordering. It all was clean, fresh, and great presentation. The price was very reasonable as well.“
“Delicious food and great service! I loved the Rustic Italian panini. I like that they offer half size orders of many of their sandwiches. Their cakes and desserts looked amazing but we didn't order treats today. The big dining area is nice and there's also a small back room if it's extra busy. We were there at 12:15 and it was pretty packed. I'll be returning for sure!“
“Omg. Wish we had this type of bakery in Seattle. Visiting friends in SLC and stumbled upon this place. Latin owned. Love supporting local. Service is good. Pastries are to die for. We love the churro croissant and morning bun are delicious. The morning bun is flaky and sweet, not sickly sweet just enough. So good! Good thing this bakery is not local for me otherwise I would end up on my 600 lb life. Would love to try other treats the next time we visit Utah“
“I used to volunteer there for 4 yrs 2007 to 2011 i loved every minute of it. Every time customers enter the doors of welfare square i always greet them with a smile. Welfare square is such a great place with great services. My most experiences that i will always cherish forever is when i was a customer service host which i love cause i get to help out customers with getting everything they need. I loved volunteering there because i get to meet new people and make new friends and i love being around people and kids that needs help!!“
“I got one of their gluten free brownies from the Toasted Cheeser food truck in Brigham today and it was amazing! I would highly recommend giving them a try. Mrs. Hewitt's also has incredible advocates in the wonderful folks running the Toasted Cheeser.“
“My fiancé and I love this place so much, we can’t ever not get like 4-6 eclairs they have such a good variety every one we have tried has been amazing! But our favorite by far is the blueberry lavender! It’s just so good! I highly recommend you go here. And the staff is always so nice.“
“We stopped by for some treats that are not traditional for us and man, were we rewarded!! Nice little bakery on State Street that offers a selection of baklava and other pastry type items as well as some meat pies. There are also some kitchen staples, spices, and other ingredients that you won't find in other grocery stores. We tried the pistachio / chocolate baklava and the walnut baklava on this visit and found them to be absolutely amazing. SO flavorful and layered with goodness. We found them to be so delicious that we took a dozen home for later snacks. We are lucky to have diverse locations like this in our community and I will do my best to continue to stop by and support them.“
“We visited Carol's today for the first time on our quest for pie on this pi day (3/14/24). The shop is located down a narrow alley so we parked on the street (free parking). 15 yards later was the shop, looking quite unassuming. Inside the client area is small - this is clearly a pick-up-and-leave place with no seating (fine with us). The gentleman at the counter was super kind and friendly as he helped us pick out adorable mini pies. I forget all the flavors but they include raspberry, apple, key lime, apricot. We also bought two eclairs as they are my son's favorite and ate those as soon as we got home. Holy moly those were DEVINE. I am so excited to try the pies tonight after dinner. They bake fresh bread and rolls on Saturdays so I'll be back to pick some up! 6 pies and 2 eclairs for under $15. I've paid $7+ for an inferior eclair at other bakeries. Try this out, you won't be disappointed!“
“My family had the Fish and Chips, Palusami & Pisupo pie, Chicken Curry pie, Koko Samoa cupcakes, Koko Samoa cake and freshly baked loaf of bread. Everything was AWESOME! Crispy perfectly cooked fish, flaky buttery pie crust and Awesome customer service! Thank you Sagato!“
“Wonderful gem of a bakery! The filled buns are amazing. They are so inexpensive. The owner could raise the price a bit and I would still feel like I got a bargain. Really delicious and fresh.I wish they served coffee. The sit down experience could be improved. If folks driving past, or walking past saw customers inside, they would be more likely to stop in themselves. That being said, once someone discovers this place, I am sure they come back.I love this place!“
“One of only fiew European stores with eastern European food in it, along with Arbat and Rise by Good Day. It's the best thought, in my opinion, has the most stuff and decent prices and lots of polish food!!! Which is my main draw being Polish and all. Highly recommend going there and checking it out.“
