“This is one of those small shops that have a surprising amount of food options for the size. They're definitely a mom&pop shop and has pretty authentic Vietnamese foods. The banh mi is actually pretty good too, they actually give you a lot of meat and sauce, and is still cheaper than the other restaurant in the plaza. I do want to come back to try some other options“

“Just ordered pastries. A blueberry strudel, snickerdoodles, an orange roll and a lemon bar. The strudel was the best I’ve ever had. Ordered at 2 pm and the pastry was still soft and delicious to eat without warming. Everything felt fresh and tasted good. I will be returning!“

“BEST MEXICAN BAKERY in the salt lake valley. I went in today my friends kept referring me to this bakery and it was totally worth it. I bought a cake from here and I did ask them to add some fruit on, they let me know since they’re adding fruit it was going to be an extra fee. But the fruit was beautifully decorated I very impressed. Also bought pan Dulce from here was delicious. I love the customer service they were very polite and patient with me and answered all my questions. If you’re looking for a good Mexican bakery come here.“

“Fun, small, little Bistro and take out atmosphere. Excellent food with more choices than expected, at super reasonable prices. Some of these specialty places charge exorbitant prices, but not here. I had a tasty Cuban Sandwich and a feed-you-three-times cinnamon roll for under $15. Lovely staff. I was there with a vegan diet friend, but don't let that stop you. I'm not vegan diet oriented, but thoroughly enjoyed it.“

My vanilla latte and my husband’s chocolate London Fog were perfect to the last drop. Need to find out the secret for the yummy eggs too. Such a wonderful Sunday brunch treat. The chocolate, rosemary, and huckleberry pinecone is my favorite chocolate dessert ever. It’s like cracking open a delicious Easter egg when your fork cracks open the delicate chocolate shell. “This is going to be a long review. When you first walk in you are met with a delicious aroma of fresh bread, and pastries. The staff beats you with such sincerity that you feel like your family. I had called to put in a large catering order Tuesday afternoon right before closing; Wednesday was a holiday and I needed it by Thursday morning. They had everything boxed up ready to go…. Only for me to realize the coolers I bought were not big enough for a box. They offered to repackage everything into smaller boxes. The smaller boxes worked perfectly. While I waited I ordered the Turkey, avocado, bacon sandwich. I can honestly say that was the best turkey avocado, bacon sandwich I have ever eaten. As I write this, I am thinking of how delicious that sandwich was and trying to convince myself that a 50 mile drive for a sandwich is a bit much. The turkey was a thicker cut, juicy, flavorful, and it had that Thanksgiving roasted flavor to it. The bacon Cooked perfectly, not too crisp so you don’t chip a tooth , and not underdone where it is chewy. The avocado was fresh, and it was ripened to the perfect stage. The sandwich also contained some lettuce, and a dressing, which was delicious. All of this delectable goodness placed on fresh bread. The bread had a perfect crunchy outer crust While the inside was soft. The bread itself had an amazing flavor to it with all the seeds and nuts in it made a perfect sandwich. I will write a follow up after the party tonight. It will include photos.“

“Ordered my first order from Mrs. Hewitt’s and I’m blown away. Far and away the BEST gluten free bread I’ve had since my Celiac diagnosis almost 20 years ago. And to top it off just amazing customer service. UPS damaged my box during shipping which coincidentally destroyed a loaf of bread. I emailed customer service and within minutes they responded to issue a refund for the damaged loaf. Delightful experience all around with Mrs. Hewitt’s.“

“I ordered two boxes for my birthday celebration because my family loves baklava and I thought it would be a fun change from having a cake. I called and spoke with the owner (who is so gracious and a truly lovely person) and she included a sampler of a third kind! The baklava arrived in terrific condition, very nicely and thoughtfully wrapped and boxed. Sheer Ambrosia is a genuine first class operation. I got the traditional walnut, spiced pear, and southern pecan. It was unanimous that the baklava is "amazing". The favorite seemed to be the spiced pear. “Great products and great service. What more can you ask for? My story if you’re interested in the extent this small bakery goes through for service. I live in Idaho. My parents in West Jordan. I like to get them treats on occasion. Getting a good product, you never see and getting it to them at the right time has been the challenge. This latest occasion was for Father's Day 2023. I looked up some local bakeries on google that I hoped could deliver in time and had good reviews. I didn't know what to expect when I got in touch with the Flour Box Bakery. It was after hours when I sent a message on their website, expecting to be contacted the next day. I received a message from Gienie (pronounced Jenny if I'm not mistaken) at 9:42 PM that night. We texted and agreed Friday at 9AM to talk. As agreed, she called me on time. Of course, as timing goes, I wasn’t available to talk. She texted me again to follow up. We texted and talked and all of it was smooth and helpful. Initially I was looking for delivery but upon ordering I had a change of plans. I bounced back and forth between pickup and delivery a few times. Gienie was amazing and patient with her accommodations. Not only did she take care of what I needed, she gave great advice. She texted me when the baking was completed and another when it was delivered. She also threw in a few favorites as “extras” at no charge, which was not necessary but appreciated. I didn't get to personally taste the product being in Idaho. I did confirm with my parents who gave rave reviews on the baked goods and friendliness of servcie. I look forward to trying other products and will be ordering more on my next trip to visit. Thank you Gienie.“

“Carol’s is a favorite of mine and has been since my early days of visiting my Grandparents in Sugarhouse. My grandpa would take me for ice cream and then we’d go to Carol’s for the yummiest eclairs on the planet. He was always friends with everyone and the owners of this place were no exception. “If you live near Salt Lake City and you like Thai food, you should get your butt over to Hart Yai Thai Express in Murray. Their Pad Thai and their basic fried rice are probably the best I've had. I also tried their low sweet Thai Iced Tea today and it was fabulous.

It's only the second time we've had food from there, but everything everybody ordered was amazing. It's super fresh and super yummy. It's now our favorite Thai food restaurant.

All were delicious so the next day I went back for another muffin and roll. It has been nothing but delicious food and great, positive vibes from the woman who has helped me both days.
