“My daughter sent us a box of 12 butterscotch, rum, walnut baklava and 4 piece chocolate almond; AMAZING! We are going to send these as gifts this year to friends and family. High quality, fantastic taste, presentation is gorgeous! Highly recommended.“
“I came in after a karate seminar a couple of weeks ago. I had been meaning to since I saw that they had opened awhile back, since I get to evening classes and feel hungry beforehand. Of course our karate master owns this building too, so I love supporting those businesses as well. There's a bakery area for to go orders and ordering, and a dine in side to sit down and eat, as well as chat with friends. I tried a chicken puff pastry and the Pan Queso y Bocadillo (so I had some protein and savory, and some sweet). The staff was super nice and answered all my questions patiently, while offering suggestions. The bakery was relatively quiet with just a few tables seated for lunch. A few more people came in while I was ordering. I hope they do well and stay around, so I have a yummy place to visit when I'm hungry during karate.“
“My fiancé and I love this place so much, we can’t ever not get like 4-6 eclairs they have such a good variety every one we have tried has been amazing! But our favorite by far is the blueberry lavender! It’s just so good! I highly recommend you go here. And the staff is always so nice.“

“We had a tres leches chocolate cake! Its a small bakery with 3 tables with 4 chairs each so if you want to sit and eat your sweets you can. But the menu online seems more extensive than what they actually had on hand. So just keep that in mind before you go in or maybe try and call beforehand to make sure they have what you want/like. For us it was a random discovery and we just went in because we were already nearby. But it is a tiny biz, with a small biz feel so nothing overly special about service or ambience. But they make up for it in their desserts and thats why I gave it a 4. :)“
“I spend more money here than I’d like to admit… love that they make their syrups in house with good ingredients! And the blueberry sourdough bagel here is ELITE - I get mine toasted with butter and it simply brings me joy. They make lots of different yummy pastries in house and offer other good food such as yogurt bowls, avocado toast, frittatas, chia pudding, and more.I will say this place can get really busy and they aren’t the quickest even when they aren’t busy, so don’t come in expecting your drink/food to be ready fast. I also really enjoy working at coffee shops, but bc of how busy it’s gets here, I struggle to focus if I want to work.“
“Attention sugar lovers! Our new meet up place is in Herriman at the Salt City Sweet Shop. Whether you are into candy, fudge, soda, caramel apples, cotton candy or ice cream-this place has it. The selection is rather impressive. Candy takes most of us back to our childhood, so it's appropriate that the theme here is "retro." Along with candy from yesteryear, there are cool vintage looking signs and knick knacks for collectors. There are also tons of glass bottles of soda-the kind that you probably grew up drinking, or wish you had. Leatherby's ice cream (arguably the best out there) is served here as well. Want chocolate? Yup, plenty of decadent chocolates as well as a mouth-watering assortment of caramel apples. Really, there's something for everyone. If you don't find something here that you like, I would really question your level of contentment in life. I docked a star for a couple things. First, the location is tricky to get to. There's no direct access from the road, you have to maneuver around the building and enter from the side opposite the main road. It appears that another entrance is planned, but a temporary concrete barrier prevents it from being used until it's fully developed. So that's a challenge-one that will be resolved as the area grows and fills in.The other challenge was the customer service. There were two young ladies working there and neither of them greeting us when we entered. (It's a small enough space, and we were the only customers. It just felt awkward to walk in and start browsing while she just watched us.) When we checked out, I attempted friendly small talk and it fell flat. She wasn't rude, just not the friendly personality I'd hope to find in a local, small business.Otherwise, it's a great place and I'm sure my sweet tooth will guide me back again!“
“Love their cakes! (Unfortunately, I cannot single-handedly eat enough cake to keep them in business, so you need to buy their cakes too!) We got 5 mini cakes to share. All were good, but I loved the raspberry white chocolate one best. Much better than cupcakes. These bundt cakes are not as dry as cupcakes and have just the right amount of frosting.“
“Lucas is the best!! This is the second time he’s taken my order and he goes above and beyond to help each time. I love everything about Village Baker except for the extra weight on my body because I can’t stop stopping in. Best breads, baked goods, salads, sandwiches , and pizza ??“
“If you live within a 3-5 mile radius of this establishment, how great shall be your joy. I don't know that it's worthy of trekking from Provo for but it's pretty damn good. I don't care for the shopping experience at the Sandy Mall. The reality is, goodness is where it's found and Sandy Mall be damned, this place is something special!“
