My grandpa would take me for ice cream and then we’d go to Carol’s for the yummiest eclairs on the planet. He was always friends with everyone and the owners of this place were no exception. “This is going to be a long review. When you first walk in you are met with a delicious aroma of fresh bread, and pastries. The staff beats you with such sincerity that you feel like your family. I had called to put in a large catering order Tuesday afternoon right before closing; Wednesday was a holiday and I needed it by Thursday morning. They had everything boxed up ready to go…. Only for me to realize the coolers I bought were not big enough for a box. They offered to repackage everything into smaller boxes. The smaller boxes worked perfectly. While I waited I ordered the Turkey, avocado, bacon sandwich. I can honestly say that was the best turkey avocado, bacon sandwich I have ever eaten. As I write this, I am thinking of how delicious that sandwich was and trying to convince myself that a 50 mile drive for a sandwich is a bit much. The turkey was a thicker cut, juicy, flavorful, and it had that Thanksgiving roasted flavor to it. The bacon Cooked perfectly, not too crisp so you don’t chip a tooth , and not underdone where it is chewy. The avocado was fresh, and it was ripened to the perfect stage. The sandwich also contained some lettuce, and a dressing, which was delicious. All of this delectable goodness placed on fresh bread. The bread had a perfect crunchy outer crust While the inside was soft. The bread itself had an amazing flavor to it with all the seeds and nuts in it made a perfect sandwich. I will write a follow up after the party tonight. It will include photos.“

My vanilla latte and my husband’s chocolate London Fog were perfect to the last drop. Need to find out the secret for the yummy eggs too. Such a wonderful Sunday brunch treat. The chocolate, rosemary, and huckleberry pinecone is my favorite chocolate dessert ever. It’s like cracking open a delicious Easter egg when your fork cracks open the delicate chocolate shell. “Great products and great service. What more can you ask for? My story if you’re interested in the extent this small bakery goes through for service. I live in Idaho. My parents in West Jordan. I like to get them treats on occasion. Getting a good product, you never see and getting it to them at the right time has been the challenge. This latest occasion was for Father's Day 2023. I looked up some local bakeries on google that I hoped could deliver in time and had good reviews. I didn't know what to expect when I got in touch with the Flour Box Bakery. It was after hours when I sent a message on their website, expecting to be contacted the next day. I received a message from Gienie (pronounced Jenny if I'm not mistaken) at 9:42 PM that night. We texted and agreed Friday at 9AM to talk. As agreed, she called me on time. Of course, as timing goes, I wasn’t available to talk. She texted me again to follow up. We texted and talked and all of it was smooth and helpful. Initially I was looking for delivery but upon ordering I had a change of plans. I bounced back and forth between pickup and delivery a few times. Gienie was amazing and patient with her accommodations. Not only did she take care of what I needed, she gave great advice. She texted me when the baking was completed and another when it was delivered. She also threw in a few favorites as “extras” at no charge, which was not necessary but appreciated. I didn't get to personally taste the product being in Idaho. I did confirm with my parents who gave rave reviews on the baked goods and friendliness of servcie. I look forward to trying other products and will be ordering more on my next trip to visit. Thank you Gienie.“

They have a bunch of snacks, spices, and drinks around the store and I think they may have had fresh baked goods aside from the baklava, but we got here closer to the end of the day so I think they ran out. The only thing I wish they could do would be to post the prices of things. It was hard to make a decision on items to buy because we weren't sure how much they cost.

There isn't a parking lot here but the street parking on the side street is pretty wide open.“

The place is absolutely charming, and the pastry display is beautiful — so many cakes and pastries that look incredible. Even before trying what I picked up, I was already thinking, “Next time I’m coming back to actually choose something from this display!” 😂

The woman who helped me was super friendly, and everything I received through Too Good To Go was delicious. One of the pastries was this amazing combination of cinnamon, chocolate, and almonds — kind of like a flattened cinnamon roll, but with its own thing going on. Seriously delicious. Another one had orange and was also fantastic.

“Gluten free not by choice and always ecstatic to find a safe gluten free bakery. I got the cinnamon bread, cinnamon muffin and cinnamon roll. All were delicious so the next day I went back for another muffin and roll. It has been nothing but delicious food and great, positive vibes from the woman who has helped me both days. I felt very welcome here (especially being from out of town) and did not get sick due to their strict enforcement of no cross contamination.“

“Probably my favorite asian bakery in the state. The pastries are taiwanese pastries. They are light, delicious and not over sweet. My favorite is the taro sweet bread, the chocolate one and the Hokkaido cream. Would have been a 5 stars if the bread was always made the day of. The taro bread i got a couple times tasted like they were from the day before. They were still good but a bit dry.
They alao have drinks and cakes too. They have a few tables that you could sit at to eat your bread.
I would go back any day as it's still delicious. Bread is cheaper than most Asian bakeries.“
